About the author

The Kitten series will always remain my shining star. Rae and her family is what got me into writing and what's kept me going. As I venture off towards new characters and storylines, one thing that will stay the same is the butch/femme dynamic. I have even dabbled with butch/soft butch non-binary characters. I love masculine women and everything about them, from their charm, chivalry, style and everything else in between.

This past spring I happily signed a contract with Painted Hearts Publishing for my new book, A Jade's Diamond, that will be released in the new year. I hope to continue working with the lgbtq publisher for more great stories I write.

I look forward to hearing your opinion toward my older books and my newer books that will be published in the near future.

Bittersweet. I've loved the revamped version of this series A LOT. I fell in love with Ruby from the start and have enjoyed watching her journey and growth across the books. And while I wasn't ready to say goodbye to these characters, the author makes the ending hurt less. It left me with feelings of comfort, calm, and wholeness that I think is what Rae was feeling in the end.

Newer characters get some time to shine. Loose ends are tied up neatly. And it was done in a well thought out way. Not like some books I've read where they rush to wrap it up and leave you with a ton of questions unanswered. This feels like a book of closure. And I would recommend this series to anyone, novellas included. READ THEM ALL.

A suitable farewell to Rae

I read the first one of this series because Char was an acquaintance and somebody whose other work I had enjoyed. I finished the fourth one because I had to know how the story ended. Rae and her band of misfit Angels live the kind of life that very few do in real life, but in fiction they are fascinating and fun to watch. It is very much a good send-off, Rae may be pushing the edge of menopause pretty hard, but she's still got it in her. If you liked any of the first three this one will definitely satisfy.
