A Great Read

I’ve been following Jason Graystone on YouTube and listening to his podcast for about a year, so I was already familiar with some of the ideas in this book. There’s quite a bit of overlap with the podcast, but honestly, I didn’t mind that. Sometimes you need to hear things a few times before they really sink in.

I’m still not sure if trading is for me, but the book is about much more than trading. The ideas around discipline, habits and taking control of your life can apply to anyone. I’m currently working my way out of a pretty deep hole, and I found the book genuinely encouraging. It gives you hope that things can change and that you can come out stronger on the other side.

“Stability is destabilising.” Such a simple phrase, but it really stuck with me. The book has a calming quality and does a great job of reminding you that uncertainty is simply part of life. There are also plenty of good stories and examples that keep it interesting.

I’ve even signed up to Jason’s email list — I’m definitely a fan. A really enjoyable and worthwhile read.

highly recommend for anybody who is mature enough to start caring about one’s future.

Very sobering truths, very clear calls to action and steps that have been tested and followed are presented in this book. Written with no fluff, no selling pitch. Read it, do it and stop finding excuses for the life you chose to live.
