I had the pleasure of receiving this book as an Arc in exchange for an honest opinion!
The Bite of Memory is definitely the most mature so far. I really enjoyed reading it, as the balance between plot and spicy scenes is really good. The previous book lacked this balance, so I was afraid it would happen again, but thankfully, I was wrong!
We're finally getting to know more about the curse and how to solve it. More magic and practitioners and mysteries to solve!
I loved the relationship between Kan and Gasper, the angst and the fluff. I'm usually not a fan of miscommunication, but in this book, the reason for them not communicating well makes sense, and I can't really be mad at it. I also really enjoyed the way they finally started trusting their own feelings and each other.
As usual, I wish it was longer. This book didn't speed through the plot, but I loved the characters and wished to spend some more time with them.
So far, I think this is my favorite book in the series (sorry Nel and Koa!) and I can't wait for the next one, so we can find out more about the brothers and their curse.
