Started and finished date - 31.07.25 to 02.08.25. My rating - Three Stars. I found okay but I was bit disappointed with is book and I think people who like influential by Amara Sage or no filter and other lies by Crystal Maldonado may like is book. The cover of plot was stunning and the writing was fine but it took some time to get used to. The ending of book was okay and the atmosphere was okay and I found the slang in the book to be cringe. The characters were okay but I think they needed to be flash out bit more and I found Fred to be immature
Fred is essentially a sweet but geeky kid - his mum is struggling since his grandma died so he tries to help out at home and look after his younger brothers but he has no friends at school and he gets picked on by the Unthinkables - the cool kids at school. But by night Fred is 'Existor' - a gaming YouTuber with lots of followers and endlessly cool quips. When he overhears one of the Unthinkables saying he is a fan of Existor, he hatches a plot to use his anonymous alter ego to raise his social capital at school, but his actions have unforeseen consequences and in the process he damages a fragile new friendship.
Once again, Nathanael Lessore provides a humorous and insightful take on a serious issue with another engaging MC.
