I am one of the rejects who accidentally read this book before reading the first one… *hides head in shame* 🙈
That being said, it didn’t stop me from loving this book and now that I know there are others to read with more storyline, I’m even happier!
I enjoyed this whole ride and the gory and vivid imagery was top notch of Fright Night. Overall, definitely loved this read and am excited to read the rest of the books.

WOW this book was a wiiiild ride 😅😅 If you’re looking for a good erotic horror to wrap up spooky season, this is exactly what you need. The very morally grey characters, a good revenge plot, lots of spicy scenes, and horror/gore…I loved all of it. I could NOT put this book down, I flew through it because I HAD to know what happened next. I also loved how the characters from Frozen Obsession and Heartless were connected. 10/10 another five star read from Luna!

Having come off Heartless OMG I did not know where this was going to go! It was intense (check your triggers it gets dark), and having Alec’s POV in ending chapters honestly I don’t think I’ve seen that before but darn that was good! Only plot hole was Lalo?? Or another book?

Where do I even begin? I had the absolute honor of being able to beta read this and my god fright night did not disappoint. Luna never fucking misses and I couldn’t wait to be reunited with my babies Roman and xena again.
If you want to read Fright Night then please start with Frozen Obsession where you meet Roman and Xena. ( MY ROMAN EMPIRE) and then go read Heartless where you will meet Kai & Tokyo. ( Tokyo’s on my shit list right now) lol but I fucking love Kai and Tokyo too..
I can’t even express how amazing Fright Night is and the emotions you’ll go through while reading it. Fright night is a dark romantic thriller that has you turning those pages in such suspense. I swear I was in our group chat crashing out every 5 seconds because I truly didn’t know what was going to happen next.
Characters turning into villains or were they already villains? Bonds being broken, trust being altered and a whole lot of WHAT THE FUCK moments happen in this book.
I love how Luna has the ability to bring so much emotion and depth to such a short story. There are equal amounts of plot and spice and let me just tell you, when the spice hits, it HITS.
I fucking adore these couples and really enjoyed how the stories connected and it all came to a final CRAZY conclusion. I truly wasn’t sure how Luna was going to end Fright Night and I can say that it is absolute perfection. I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to such a traumatic, emotional, rollercoaster ride of a story!

Fright Night starts out where frozen obsession AND Heartless leave off. I was instantly hooked because I loved heartless and was very intrigued by the ending and i loved Roman from frozen obsession. So putting both couples from both books and their story intertwine was pretty neat.
The plot:smut radio was spot on with this one. The plot was plotting and had me biting the skin my cheeks lol!

Luna absolutely delivered with this book! If you’re just starting to dive in, you’ll need to start with Frozen Obsession and then Heartless. Fright Night is a dark romantic thriller full of twists, emotion, and pure chaos. I was constantly on edge! Bonds are broken, trust is shattered, and there are plenty of “WTF” moments. Luna somehow packs so much depth and emotion into a short story, balancing plot and spice with pure perfection. The way everything ties together is perfection. This finale is wild, emotional, and the best possible ending to such a dark, thrilling series. As always, check those trigger warnings!

I just knew this was gonna be fantastic, and I wasn’t disappointed. The plot had me sucked in from the beginning. I will say I haven’t read Frozen Obsession yet, however I have read Heartless so I knew what was going on.
I will definitely be reading Frozen Obsession because I IMMEDIATELY fell in love with Roman. He was THAT MAN! This book follows Roman and Xena from Frozen Obsession and Kai and Tokyo from Heartless. Both couples are step siblings, and they all have massive amounts of trauma. This is a dark romance with extremely heavy topics, my heart was breaking for all four of them, but Xena.. my girl was really put through it.. and Tokyo had me so mad!! I know she was just doing what she had to for Kai.. but still she had me livid. 😤 I loved Kai and Roman working together to save both of their women.
I genuinely enjoyed the plot, and the spice was hot. 🥵 you do need to read Frozen Obsession and Heartless prior to reading this.

I freaking loved this book. Having the stories from Frozen Obsession & Heartless come together was perfect.
There were times when I definitely wanted to strangle Tokyo but I understood why she was doing the things she was doing.I do love an unhinged FMC. Poor Xena and Tokyo were really put through the wringer in this one.
Kai and Roman remain two of my favourite MMCs (Roman definitely takes the top spot though). There was so much emotion in such a small book it took over my soul. The revenge plot, the spice, the tension….everything in this made me happy!!

You have to read Heartless “ the wicked rave series“ to understand which had ended on a Cliffhanger. This book picks up where the other book left off. It’s dark romance/thriller/taboo. This is not a stand alone. You must read the first book or you’ll be lost.

xena and roman & tokyo and kai are back!!!
I will honestly say in the beginning I was obviously disappointed in Tokyo, but I understood why, but it did frustrate me .
oh, how I missed my favorite couple, xena and roman . that man never disappoints at all. My poor xena went through some shit :( . & tokyo didn't have it any better either it was truly hell. My heart ached for xena
roman obviously didn't trust Tokyo for good reasons he always right about his instincts.
Chapter 8 really broke my heart.
alec is bastard!!! 100% hate that asshole.
one of my favorite lines from roman is this
“Shh, you’re safe,” I whisper, my hand running down the length of her spine. “I got you.”
he knows exactly what his xenabean needs . I love the way he loves her and vice versa . I love xena just as much . dont get me wrong. I love Tokyo and kai, but roman & xena have had my heart since frozen obsession.

Fright Night by Luna K Wicked is the second book in the Wicked Raves series. It is a dark taboo thriller romance. The rave is back, but instead of a Valentine’s Day rave, this one is a Halloween rave! We get to see old characters and new characters. There’s so much trauma and plot stuffed into the pages of this book. Dare I say even more than the first book!?
In my opinion this is a great continuation of the story. The character development from the first book to this book is phenomenal! You literally get to see how much they’ve changed, and Luna did a great job writing these characters and this story.
I honestly don’t think I will ever get over the Wicked Rave series. It is just so good! If I could give this series a million stars I would because I loved it so much! I 1000% recommend this book! If you like dark taboo thriller romances that get straight to the point and does not lack plot at all, then you need to read this book. And not only do you need read this book, you need to read book one, Heartless. And you should definitely read Frozen Obsession by Luna K Wicked too, because it’s interconnected with some characters!

hello where do i start? roman? xena? tokoyo? kai? ALL TOGETHER?
you heard me. ALL OF THEM. the unholy trinity i guess. because what the heck?. she is not disappointing you with this & if she does im not your friend🫨 no seriously though. luna has done a masterpiece in this one! i cant spoil too much even though i want too but let me tell you. if you loved roman in frozen obsession you about to love him a whole lot more now. the emotions we go through with these babies is insane. but like also lowkey in your feelings? i hope your strapped into the rollercoaster of emotions✨

character development of each character will forever have me stunned everytime luna writes. xena especially caught me. real good. she is so complex,she is so multi fasciated and wow. just wow. captivating i tell you.. roman.. he is a psycho. like real psycho but please don't let what you see in frozen obsession (you have to read that first by the way) fool you,that is not the roman you see this time,you see a darker side yes. depravity? absoultely but you also see and feel the shift from alpha-hole to more alpha-male, man is crazy we know this but he has layers,you learn so much about him in this and the development he goes through towards the end of the story and the coming out of the psychotic ways (ish maybe😏) is something i acc think you won't expect.. think bat shit crazy but like teddy bear? yeah that. kai. boy does kai hold a special place in my heart he was the first mmc i read by luna & he will forever be special to me because of that,he had me hooked on luna's writing. but does he go on a JOURNEY in this. my heart breaks for him and then im cheering him on like GO KAI TELL EM! he grows into a more darker version i feel in this one,still a lover boy,always a lover boy but more. so much more! TOKOYO.. she is the most developed of them all. her character. zero flaws. she is the epitome of a bad bitch like i would lowkey love to have her confidence. as the others she goes on a journey but tokoyo's is different,she goes on a different journey. i'm not spoiling you know this but let's just say.. DARK & VENGEFUL

now back to the story.. you read heartless yes? you wanted more rave? fright night is waiting for you. seriously. no phones. no mercy. no way out. same principle,different time of year and a lot of more killing and revenge this time. team work makes the dream work we'll say that. pacing up into the climax point - slower than normal but it WORKS didn't feel dragged out! when the climax point is reached : DELICIOUS.. LOVE how we picked up speed now - feels like the right time!!
and acc in terms of style & flow - the climax being later in the story and a good chunk of the story makes sense - i feel like it is giving the idea of may be one night only vibe but to FEEL the climax we have to be there long enough! so i acc feel like it being prolonged works in this sense!
especially its lowkey like heartless but not and i feel like those that have read heartless were like MORE I NEED MORE RAVE & like now they get that just as a different spin off type vibe
spice?? 🌶️🌶️🌶️ love how spice is making more of a show later in this story! it's NOT a super smutty story,the spice has its place but the plot line has DEPTH,esp between kai & tokoyo now they're finally meeting! like DAMN roman gone IN & like i love how kai is having more screen time,feels about roman AND kai now which i LOVE but the smut that is there feels very RAW & very authentic to the situation that they are in,it's not out of passion or love,it's not even out of lust but yet fully encapsulates xena especially and the journey her character has gone on feels VERY VERY relatable

like you defintely FEEL for the characters especially if you read FO first (which obvs you should lololol) like you feel the pain like for me as a reader i feel pulled towards xena from a personal perspective because she feels very relatable but in the relatable side of it im more of a 'roman' and people close to me is more in the position xena is if that makes sense!!
also i feel like the way addiction is shown in the story is done in a real sensetive way but also in a like this is real life way! it really opened my eyes and honestly it was a joy to read🥹
overall?? 4.5⭐️
loved it all,an easy 4.5⭐️ for me.. a great add on to the wicked raves series,a rave based novella will always be my favourite! written beautifully,paced great! relatable and loveable characters,what's not too love!!

Fright Night took my emotions on a wild ride! Being reunited with Kai, Tokyo, Xena and Roman was better than I could have imagined. This thrill kept me on edge, and the couples were as hot as ever. My heart went to all ends of the spectrum following their stories creating a perfect conclusion to this series.
Kai may have made it out of Heartless, but he left without his heart. Tokyo may be gone but he will stop at nothing to find her; after all, he loves her and they have things that were left unfinished. Tokyo will do anything to keep Kai safe. When she leaves Heartless, she is now at the mercy of her ex. He has a score to settle, and she will be the player to help put it all in motion. Xena is her target, she will befriend her and betray her, she may not like it, but she will do it without hesitation because that is the only way to protect the one she loves. While Xena is loving her new friendship, a type of connection she needs in her life, Roman does not trust Tokyo. He is always alert and always watching, he will never let anything or anyone take what is his.
Roman’s and Tokyo’s willingness to do anything and sacrifice anyone for the ones they love and Kai’s and Xena’s desire to be with who they love and keep them safe will all be tested when Fright Night comes to town. Another epic rave, and once again all is not as it appears. One of the men in charge will use this to exact his revenge against Roman and Xena. Roman and Kai will need to work together to get to Xena and Tokyo, unfortunately Tokyo is one of the targets for Roman’s dark revenge, she took and hurt what is his. I will tell you that I've had a bit of a crush on a certain couple, but I’ll admit that I had read their book the day before🤭. But to be honest, a man like Roman just turns me wild; a man like Roman takes the “touch her and die” to a whole new level.

Absolutely! It was a short, fast-paced book with just the right amount of darkness.
I find that everything I've read by this author is an absolute yes for me. When I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. Luna has a way of mixing darkness, suspense, and depending on the book even horror at times that leaves you wanting to know more, wanting to read more and absolutely obsessed with every read.

I really enjoyed this book! It was a thrilling pulse pounding read, Fright Night had me hooked from the start. The suspense, mystery and betrayal were so good, I just had to keep turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next. It’s got this slasher/gore vibe mixed with Halloween energy and rave chaos, which made it such a fun and different read. This is also a sibling/step sibling taboo read.
What I loved was that it took the main characters from book 1 Roman and Xena, book 2 Kai and Tokyo and brought them together for this wicked rave called Fright Night. Reading how they came together, interacted and connected was super satisfying and it made the story feel like everything was coming together. It’s always fun when familiar characters cross paths and you get to see how their relationships change and grow.
The plot definitely kept me on edge. There were moments that gave me chills and others that had me racing through chapters. Luna K Wicked really knows how to build tension and atmosphere while still keeping the characters interesting and real.

This book is the final installment in the WICKED RAVES series and picks right up where HEARTLESS leaves off. I was so excited to see 2 of my favorite characters appear from the book FROZEN OBSESSION. I highly recommend starting with Frozen Obsession before you read The Wicked Rave series. It will make the story make much more sense.
Roman/Xena & Kai/Tokyo's lives are intertwined and they don't fully realize it at first. Tokyo is in a situation that makes her the bad guy, butss he definitely doesn't want to be. Kai will do anything to find and save her. Roman & Xena thought life was starting to look up for them, but things never stay that way.
You have Alec who will do everything in his power to make the people he hates pay for their actions.
Everything comes down to ONE MORE RAVE and things don't go as planned.

Welcome to Fright Night! Remember the rules from the first rave: no phones, no rules, and no mercy. I think reading the book before this one in the Wicked Raves Series, Heartless, will help you understand the storyline. Heartless was a great book, but book two was just as delicious. Now, it’s Halloween, and there are more races and raves as Kai and Roman hunt to get Tokyo and Xena back. Lives are hanging in the balance. Alec is not my favourite male character in this book; he’s an asshole to say the least. This book had me wanting to jump through the pages and choke him. At the beginning, I was highly disappointed in Tokyo, but as the story continues, I started to understand and see things differently. Still, I can’t believe what she did to her own friend. It made my heart hurt. Friendships are being tested and loyalty means nothing when you have no cares who dies in order to protect the woman you would burn the world down for. I think the ending was a perfect way to this book, it looked a little dicey with the one characters but I was happy with the ending.

Loved the crossover with Frozen Obsession and Heartless and seeing both couples interact with one another.
Roman and Xena are one of my absolute favorite couples - the spicy scene with them in the forest at Fright Night? Ininity stars for that scene alone. And then watching him absolutely LOSE IT and basically go on a killing spree until they were both safe? SWOON. Also cackled like crazy that we got another dose of peniscillin - that is never going to get old!
Tokyo... I don't think she's ever going to get on my good side. Even with everything she did being to protect Kai, I found it so hard to like her. You know Kai is willing to do anything for you but you leave him in the dust and go back to Alec? And then continue dealing with everything he puts you through AND makes you do? Not going to lie, was slightly hoping Roman would succeed in killing her.
Did enjoy the ending we got - after a few non-HEA books and a few more with cliffhangers it was really nice to have a story wrapped up like this one.

You know what? This book truly shocked me with how good it was. I mean, I always expect great things from LKW, I just didn't expect to be immediately hooked lol. I started it yesterday, and finished it today. The writing style here reminded me a lot more of Painters Obsession, which is what initially drew me into her writing. This was a bloody ,gory, sexy fun time. I did enjoy the multiple POV, even the surprise one from Alec, the big baddie of the story. I felt like we did get closure after the first two books. I was scared for a moment that we were going to lose one of the main four, but the author took mercy upon us (unlike some of her other characters lol). There was racing, murder, and raves in this series. The grammar was fully edited, minus a few weird, short sentences. But overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this short book. Kai, Tokyo, Roman, and Xena all had very good reasons for the choices they made. I really hope we see them again.

This book was absolutely insane. There is so much longing and betrayal. I was feeling so many emotions. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time trying to see what crazy, unhinged thing was going to happen next. I finished this in one setting because I just couldn’t put it down! At first I was really upset with Tokyo. Don’t get me wrong I understood to a point but she was so toxic and unhinged but I did end up loving her by the end. She’s also so strong and stubborn and I love the way that she protects Kai at all cost. Kai is perfection. He is so freaking selfless, protective and sweet. I hate Alec the way he treats Tokyo and Xena makes me so mad. Roman is absolutely unhinged but also so protective of Xena. I freaking loved him. I also loved Xena she gets put through the wringer but she’s so brave and resilient. The way they love each other had me swooning. This book was absolutely crazy and unhinged but I was so here for it.

The Queen herself is back at it again with yet another masterpiece where you just can’t help but be utterly sucked in to the story of this book! I was hooked, absolutely DEVOURED this book! We didn’t just get one previous couple but we got TWO!! Two amazing couples who got the absolute best endings possible!!
I am absolutely living for the taboo, dark thriller side of things and for the run up to Halloween? This book is so for you! But I would highly recommend reading frozen obsession and also heartless before diving in to this one as it will really help with understanding the story!
We have so much angst and tension between tokyo and Kai! Honestly my heart was breaking for her when she was trying to do WHATEVER was needed to keep Kai safe, and that came with sacrificing not just herself to the devil but also the first true friendship out poor girl had ever had! But of course are obsessed mmc Kai was not letting her go without a fight (quite literally)
I also loved getting to see xena and Roman grace my kindle as well! As we already know Roman is the more unhinged possessive type but we all know he does everything with his xenabean on the forefront of his mind! And he will stop at absolutely nothing to see her safe and thrive!!
This book got me into the vibe ready for Halloween with the sick Halloween rave idea of this book! We also had an amazing thriller twist to this book which was hands down too freaking good! Honestly my heart was breaking for her when she was trying to do WHATEVER was needed to keep Kai safe, and that came with sacrificing not just herself to the devil but also the first true friendship out poor girl had ever had! But of course are obsessed mmc Kai was not letting her go without a fight (quite literally)
I also loved getting to see xena and Roman grace my kindle as well! As we already know Roman is the more unhinged possessive type but we all know he does everything with his xenabean on the forefront of his mind! And he will stop at absolutely nothing to see her safe and thrive!!
This book got me into the vibe ready for Halloween with the sick Halloween rave idea of this book! We also had an amazing thriller twist to this book which was hands down too freaking good! This novella takes place after the events that occur in Frozen Obsession and Heartless. If you haven’t read those books I suggest reading them first to avoid confusion. Also always check the trigger warnings. It drew me in from the first page but I absolutely love all the characters in that appear in this novella. The ending left me with a few things I’m pondering. Such as is this really truly the end? Or is there another more sinister twist that occurs.
Fright Night picks up pretty much right where Heartless ends. Tokyo ran away to protect Kai from what? You’ll have to read it to find out. All while Kai is desperately searching for her. Roman’s only interest is protecting Xena at all costs. What happens when Kai and Roman team up to find their girls? Chaos and carnage ensues. Who will win? Only one way to find out.

before you read this I would take the time to read “Frozen Obsession” and “Heartless” by Luna K Wicked so you have a better understanding of what’s going on between the couples and individual character background. they’re short dark stories that center around Christmas (Frozen Obsession) and Valentine’s Day (Heartless) ending with a Halloween themed story in “Fright Night.”
