Ok, more a WhoDunnit in space than sci-fi

This is not a book to go to for intriguing sci-fi ideas or insight, but it is an easy and generally engaging read. The characters and their motivations are not subtle and the author seems to have set out to write a WhoDunnit in space, rather than a sci-fi novel. Nothing wrong with that, but it's quite broad brush rather than intricately clever. I found the basic set up interesting enough and got carried along with the human intrigue sufficiently to keep going. Ultimately though, this could be translated into a book about being stranded on a desert island, as the sci-fi elements are largely trappings. The Epilogue is pure cheese and ends the book in a very tacky way. Book would be better off without it. So if you want to read something that is not at all hard going, are not bothered whether sci-fi elements come to anything, and like trying to decide who the good and bad guys are, it's an ok read, but Iain M Banks it aint.

Scintillating Sci-fi

Another brilliant mystery from Jasper Scott. So many twists, turns , story layers and action.

The characters are superb and Scott manages to very quickly weave the story so intricately that I felt like I had known them for years.

Intrigue and relationship issues galore in this full on five star space adventure.

A great story that I could see happening someday. A new space ship made for ultra rich folks to hop faster than light around the galaxy takes off but what should have taken a few seconds, took 30 minutes! Where are they? How will they get back? Is this planet safe? How did they get there?
Sometimes stories like this can give you "problem fatigue" but this one has so many varied problems and a lot of them are more "real life" than sci-fi so it sure didn't happen for me!
The characters were likable and believable, with one small exception. One girl who I thought was maybe 5 years old, turned out to be NINE. I don't think a nine year old would act that infantile. But a minor thing in the whole scheme.
Husband started reading it too, and said, "This isn't usually my genre, but I really like this one!" Win Win!
I liked the ending. too. Mostly a happy ending.

Received as an ARC, this is an honest review.

No Way Home that begins Jasper T Scott's newest series is a breathtaking, profound adventure that with each unexpected twist keeps the putting the pressure upon its crew to master the challenge in order to survive.

It's also an amazing thought experiment for readers to question how would they handle themselves in such a situation.

It has been billed as an adventure of a lifetime for those whom booked a room aboard The Celestial Voyage, bringing together passengers that have their reasons for being there. When the pleasure cruise is thrown into uncharted territory, Captain Mercer and his crew are in a desperate race to get back to where they're suppose to be while trying to keep their passengers from panicking. But the bizarre situation they've been plunged into, Gavin Trent, Zara Quinn and Nico Virelli known something is not normal and having access to their new reality- and individual secrets may be the way to stay sane as the ship is forced to take refuge upon a breathtaking beautiful alien world that is far more than anyone is expected. For the Celestial Voyage to even have a remote chance of getting home means unraveling stark secrets and lies that brought the passengers here and even among themselves a chance to wash away their own troubled that are slowly consuming them.

An extraordinary books to wind the summer with.

Highly recommended.

An exciting space story about a cruise ship being stranded on an unknown planet, a murderer onboard, aliens shadowing them and every one’s reactions when they find out that there is no way home.

I loved this story with its intrigue and red herrings.

Thank you Jasper T Scott for writing another thrilling story.

Too YA for me.

I tried. I really tried.

The writing just seems very juvenile and simple.

I've read much better work by this author.

What's the probability an interstellar cruise could go outside human space? For a group of colonists and wealthy tourists, the unthinkable happens. Equipment malfunctions strand them in space. But was it a malfunction and who would want to do this?
Interesting and novel take on the colony/ alien tropes in science fiction. Fun group of characters, from heiresses enjoying themselves on a month-long trip to travelers with far darker motives and plans. Blends so many things the author does well into a good read.

A great and unique stand-alone novel

Incredibly well crafted story arc. Characters are well defined and complex. Vibrant descriptions of settings, action and characters interelationships. A sci-fi setting with aliens, monsters, misadventures but also a murder mystery. This novel is refreshing and keeps the reader entranced as to how/if the characters will survive and find a way to get back home.

Just when I thought Jasper Scott could not surprise me, he writes a murder mystery in space. Not only that, there are so many different characters in this book that have good background stories. There is romance, marriage issues, a con man, a bridal bachelorette party, and a horny 17-year-old. To top the story off, he has added in a sabotaged ship, a lost ship, alien beasts, and aliens. I love his books. If you are looking for a book that will keep you intrigued and give you a surprising ending, this book is the one you are looking for. I recommend it as I enjoyed it very much. I could not put it down

This was a great book to read.  Wouldn't it be great to be able to be on a luxurious space ship for two months?  Like being on a luxurious cruise ship, right?  But what happens when the FTL throws you off course and you are thrown into a foreign galaxy not even showing on the star charts?  But hey, let's not tell the well-heeled tourists that there's been a problem.  What could go wrong with that strategy!?  And what about the thing in the waters and the dinosaur like animal on the land and what's flying in the air?  What a thrill to be brought along on this trip.  You have enough going on to keep one entertained for hours.  Thank you, Jasper T. Scott, for another thrilling book to read.

Si-Fi Murder Mystery

A cruise gone wrong, very wrong. Lost, abandoned and stranded, plus there’s a saboteur and people are being murdered. Throw in a hostile environment, angry aliens plus you have to keep most of this information away from thousands of passengers; simple, right! It’s a fast moving story with logical decisions and conclusions, well written.

No Way Home is an amazing combination of sci-fi, mystery, intriguing mini-dramas and massive aliens! I truly believed that Master wordsmith, Jasper T. Scott, had presented his readers with the best he had to offer. Not true! This epic tale is his best work yet. I only wish I could give it 10 stars! I highly recommend this unique story, enjoy!

Sci-Fi mystery

There were a lot of twists and turns in the plot and had me wondering who done it to the end, or almost to the end. There was good character development. I liked the lack of profanity.

Good mystery story interesting characters.

I like the idea of a stand alone story. I get tired of the 12 and 15 volume collections that seem to make up most of the new sci fi stories.

Great fun. Romps along with plenty of action. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

An action thriller with lots of twists and turns. Good concept and storyline. Well worth a try and room for a sequel, I would have thought. Give it a try. You wont be disappointed.

An interesting space version of A who done it

I liked it. It held my attention. There’s enough science fiction to keep me interested. And there were plenty of twists of the plot.
