Tiffany did everything right—on paper. Loyal wife. Devoted mother. The kind of woman who holds everyone down, even while her own world crumbles behind closed doors. Her husband, Isaiah, is a serial cheater addicted to attention and control, treating Tiffany’s loyalty like an obligation while giving his love to everybody but her.
She stayed. She sacrificed. She suffered in silence.
But someone’s been watching. Someone who sees past the smile she fakes and the pain she hides. And when her no-nonsense great-aunt Bernie steps in with a plan, she doesn’t offer advice—she sends Ace.
Ace is young, hood-raised, and built for the streets. But what no one knows? He’s never been touched. A virgin in a world that worships body counts. The job was supposed to be simple—watch Tiffany, keep her safe. But the second he lays eyes on her, the mission gets messy. She’s thick, powerful, and speaks to the emptiest parts of him. And somehow, this BBW boss with grown-woman energy becomes the first to ever make him feel.
Tiffany wasn’t looking for love. Definitely not from a younger man with street heat in his eyes and innocence in his touch. But when a surprise inheritance makes her a millionaire overnight, she finally chooses herself—and Ace is right there, ready to give her everything she never got from her husband, starting with his first time.
What begins as protection turns into possession. What starts as healing spins into obsession.
And when love, money, and betrayal collide—someone’s bound to get hurt.
You know what could’ve prepared me for this book? Absolutely nothing. I had no clue where it was headed at any point, and that’s exactly why I couldn’t stop turning the pages.
Now let’s be real there were some timeline hiccups. The flow was a little chaotic, and I found myself confused about when certain events were supposed to be happening. And for a book with millionaire in the title, I was out here waiting for the millionaire BBW to actually show up. Spoiler: sis was broke for most of it, dealing with a certified bum. So the title? A little misleading.
But what really stood out to me was the representation. The autistic son heading to college and supporting his mom (without it being forced or heavy-handed) was beautifully done. Tiffany getting her pink back? I was 100% HERE for it. It gave just the right mix of angst and spice to keep things interesting.
Overall, I liked the story—but I’m not sure if I’ll read book two. Still, I’m glad I gave this one a shot.
This book had potential, but it didn’t quite deliver the way I hoped. The biggest issues for me were the plot holes and the confusing time jumps—at times, I found myself flipping back pages trying to figure out when or how things changed. The pacing also dragged in places, and the writing often felt overly wordy, almost like the author was stretching to hit a word count.
That said, there were some standout moments. The book offered a few great quotables that stuck with me, and the spice/sex scenes were definitely a highlight—well-written and engaging without being over the top.
Overall, a decent read if you’re looking for some heat and don’t mind a little narrative confusion. I also don’t see a reason for a sequel.
This book was very good and very relatable, Tiffany represents a lot of women who choose to exist in a trash relationship. They know their man cheating and they just get to the point where they don’t even care anymore. Those men know their wife or girlfriend is not going to leave. Because in their mind, she will never find someone who will love them like they supposedly love them. It is not until that woman chooses herself and leaves the bullshit. No longer shrinks herself in his presence. And the love bombing or romantic gestures no longer work. That guy realizes he messed up and he can never get her back. Tiffany’s mother reminds me of those mothers who teaches their daughters that as long as that man treats them somewhat decent. He is a good man and you just focus on being good wife or girlfriend.
I’m highly disappointed. Its bad enough women in real life have a hard time letting go men who’s bad for them and for the author to allow this woman to go another 15 yrs with this man and then to have a scene where she’s partaking in a 3 some and that was the only way she could feel seen yeah so far what I have read got me so upset I don’t even think I’ll finish. And then to top it off the type of man Isaiah is Tiffany’s mother think its okay 😡😡 I love seeing women realize they’re the damn prize and I don’t see it happening for Tiffany so yeah I probably won’t be finishing this.
I tried to read some more just to see if there will be a turn around and got even more upset. Like what kinda woman is the author? Cause why would you write out this woman not only moving forward after her man told him about his 3 some with his line brother and the details of it, but to actually sit there on her wedding night and watch them have sex again and still move forward with the damn marriage and keep lying and convincing herself things will be different? And then to hear from his own mouth she was all a bet that turned out “good” like you can’t be a girls girl. I’m not tryna compare, but my book baes would never have the woman they want participating in no 3 some with them and their homeboy smh.
I just came from a high of reading a good book by this author and then came to this one to be let down… come to find out before that other good book I indeed did read a book by this author and it was also a let down.
These titles be something else entirely. I’ve realized with this author, her titles don’t come together until the middle or end of her book.
When I was done with the book and came to review it I forgot that the BBW was suppose to be a millionaire and the thug was suppose to be a virgin ?????
Tiffany spent 88.89999% of the book broke a getting her money taken by her good for nothing man. Also ACE was giving BDE throughout the first part of the book but told her he was a virgin towards the middle. Author gave no good reason why he was a virgin at his age.
I don’t like to DNF books but I almost did. The swingers party threw me off a lil and I checked out around there. Not my cup of tea. I like my main characters to be crazy about each other. I need the male character to now want no other man looking or being near his girl. So the fact that Ace was letting another man get some of his girl? lol naw. The book was interesting enough to have me finish it but not interesting enough to go read book 2.
Tiffany pissed me off. Too many moments where that good for nothing man tried her and she still stayed. Omg I was getting tired.
This book was an interesting read. truthfully, I got tired of Tiffani. that woman has to be one of the stupidest female characters I've ever read about. What woman stays married to a man after not only finding out that he only dated her because of a bet BUT ALSO CHEATED ON HER ON. THEIR. WEDDING. DAY...... WITH. A. FREAKING. MAN!!!?? SHE STAAYYED! Only for him to keep cheating and spending her hard earned money. And He was an in-house deadbeat dad! I was tired of reading about her being tired but still staying in the marriage, holding onto some kinda delusional hope she had. But then in walks Ace and he's the ONLY REASON why I kept reading and will read the next book. That cliffhanger was strange 🤔

I’d rate this book a solid 3.5 out of 5—not quite a 4 for me. Tiffany’s story felt familiar, especially in today’s social media-driven world where these types of situations aren’t all that rare. I was really hoping the plot would push further, particularly with Isaiah’s reaction to what happened at the swinger’s club. I mean, he left with another woman… sure. But Tiffany was actually involved in a threesome—that’s a major revelation, especially for a married woman. That part deserved more weight in the story.
Also, I was confused by Ace’s friend. His presence felt random and unresolved. If he wasn’t going to serve a real purpose or be woven into the storyline more meaningfully, why include him at all?
Admittedly, I tend to overanalyze (the English major in me won’t let things slide), but I just expected a bit more depth and follow-through in some of these plot points.

As high as my blood pressure got while reading this book, it was a good read! 10/10! I calmed down the second Tiffany walked away and took her name off everything. Her moma tho, she definitely can use some hands because why did she think it was okay for her daughter to be with a man like Isiah? Any woman that stays after the first disrespect thinking he gone change is insane! I was ready to DNF but im glad i pushed thru. That cliffhanger got me lowkey stressed and i cant wait for part 2
This book was ridiculous. Tiffany took things that was just completely unrealistic. She worked he didn’t, she was mad he used her money but she gave him access even after she saw him spend over 600.00 on his side piece. She was broke and struggling but has 42,000.00 for him to steal and buy a car. She’s supposed to be older but she’s really giving early 20’s young and dumb. It was honestly just not it. I didn’t care for not one character. It was a DNF at 35% for me these author completely missed the mark.
Ok this definitely started off crazy but the things Isaiah did to Tiffany was just crazy. That man did not know how to treat this woman but honestly i feel like she felt the same way as he did because her mama. Putting that any man is better than no man at all and be glad someone half way decent picked you. And it went on for far to long and baby Tiffany was making me mad. We all been though something but we are the only ones know when it stops.
There was a LOT going on in this book. The build up, before Tif snapped? Unnecessary and exaggerated. Girl! I would be left his ssa with his butt buddy at the wedding! The swingers club? That whole part confused me. Who was the other dude? So many unanswered questions so I have to read book 2…
Whew Isaiah was irking my nerves this whole book and Tiffany deserve so much better and thanks to Ace she is getting better. Hopefully Isaiah is not dead yet because I want him to see just how happy Tiffany is without his sorry behind and Tiffany also need to leave her pathetic momma alone too.
OMG Isiah ain’t not good! He was making me mad and Tiffiany to because all the red flags and she continued to stay. I was happy she finally stood on business and took her power back! Now Ace he ain’t gone play with her at all that’s him all the way
Man Im so glad she finally bossed up. Her husband wasn't SHYT!! Read the book it's good, I can't wait to see where she lands. WHEWWW Oh and it's a five on the spice level 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
