Cannot believe that this was based on actual events! Amazing. Great quick read. Loved the bad guy vs good guys struggle and the "peek" into the unseen realm!

Bound is based on true events that Lucas states were passed onto her by two missionaries, Dan Work and Ken Lobdell. Lucas' has included poetic licence to fill in the gaps about what actually happened and we have one exciting and uplifting tale of spiritual warfare, demonology, power of prayer, testing of faith, God's power of redemption and salvation, being obedient to Him and letting Him win this battle.

Angels

This is my kind of story, anytime I read a story about God's love and power I get excited. These type of stories will always be five stars, because the redemption story is amazing and beautiful. It is so beautiful to know Jesus and I love how Vicki Lucas wrap His love in a beautiful, thought provoking redemptive story. I can't wait to read book 2. This a short story, but it packs a powerful punch.

Very short spiritual warfare testimony

A wonderful tale showing the reality of spiritual warfare. This is a normal part of the Christian walk in the Spirit, but this story is much more fun than most.

I'm usually not enamored by short stories, BUT... this was a quick, fanciful story that is a lot of fun to read. The author took a true story and imaginatively filled in the blanks in a really engaging way. I felt drawn in and sorry that it didn't go on further. I'm really looking forward to more short stories in this Angel Files series.

I’m not always a fan of fictionalized books that involve angels and glimpses into Heaven. But Vicki Lucas brought spiritual battle scenes from the Canadian wilderness to life in this short work that provides a powerful reminder of the power of prayer.
