I truly believe that Jane Sharp has a brilliant career as an author ahead of her. Vision: Complete Trudy Harper Psychic Investigations is an amazing, genius set of 4 books in one. I loved that I was able to keep reading each book right after the other. Sure Australian Detective Constable Trudy Harper just began having visions and seeing ghosts while on the job. Her partner did not like her ethics about how she used her psychic abilities to her advantage on the job. However he and his wife are good friends with her; and she was able to confide in them. Later, Trudy and Julie go to a "psychic" show. A lady sitting right next to them kept complaining. She is psychic and becomes Trudy's mentor. But that is just a piece of the stories. There are times when the book just blew my mind!! It goes back to the ethics issue when she does some very wild things for being a cop. Some of her antics start to cross the line, as far as her job goes. No one but no one has ever written an investigation book like these! I can't give it away. You will laugh, squirm a bit, feel sad some, and will not remove your fingers from your e-reader for dear life because the books will suck you in and you won't want this series end!!! Yes, it is THAT fresh and wild. Try it and see if I am not right about the mind blowing things in this book! I wish I could tell you, because I would love to know what you think. However, you have to experience this book without giveaways. Don't you hate it when you are watching a good movie and someone keeps shouting out what is about to happen next all during the movie because they've seen it before? I do not want to be that annoying person. Watch Jane Sharp become a best selling sensation. She is someone you need to keep your eyes on, also. If she can write bizarre antics, you never know what else she is capable of. Hee Hee. *I have been given a free copy of this book to read and give my honest review from Reading Deals Review Club.

Jane Sharp's Vision: Complete Trudy Harper Psychic Investigations [Kindle Edition] was a quick, fun read written in "chapter" format. A number of the same characters appeared in each story - the basic premise was the same in each story - each "chapter", was unique. I'm a huge fan of an author, Jim Butcher, whose The Dresden Files series recounts the adventures of a private investigator who is a Wizard. I was anticipating a different writing style penned by Ms. Sharp - using a similar premise - and that was definitely the case. The Trudy Harper stories - with only a few exceptions - were short; however, there was a sufficient level of "completeness" to each - beginning/middle/plausible ending. Several, I felt, could have been a bit longer - and more "fleshed-out" - but all in all, the entertainment/interest level was acceptable. If you enjoy mildly suspenseful short stories, with a crime story theme - lightweight and quick-to-read, you'd - most likely - enjoy Complete Trudy Harper Psychic Investigations. I was provided with a free copy of this book so I could give an honest review. 3.5 stars - rounded up to 4.
