I looked into his bright blue eyes and I couldn’t be mad at him for a second longer. His large, calloused yet soft hand enveloped mine and I intertwined my fingers with his. I never quite got over how our hands looked when we held hands; it was like the Yin and Yang circle, although our hands are not perfectly black and white but there is a contrast.
Ok short stories are either a hit or a miss and this book was a miss. Should've known by the lack of a real description, but I wanted to give it a chance anyway. There was no real plot, didn't feel any connection with the characters and the story just didn't flow. I mean one scene they are graduating high school, next thing I know they are going off to college. They then go out to dinner and somehow 5yrs has passed and they've graduated. Then it just ends. There are 3 books in this series, and unfortunately the author is selling them for $2.99 a piece. Now I don't know about you but I refuse to pay $5 for 130pages.
The structure of sentences, the flow of the story was horrible. The ending the way it ended I mean what what that? The author just left the reader dangling. I caught myself staring at the last sentence like did the author really end it like this.
We all have to learn what love is by the pain and hurt, it'll always feel like someone hand is in your chest, but love is one of greatest experience any of us are fortunate to feel. First Love is a wonderful story and I would recommend all young people r read it.
