Adolf has located Elle through one of his 'princes,' one that Elle is familiar with. He's come to deliver Adolf's request and his stipulations - Elle is to kill her three True Mates and join Adolf as his.

Laila Raimes grew up in the Bronx and moved to upstate NY for her last year of high school-according to her: It sucked!! She now lives in upstate NY with her 11 year old son.

Laila is a little known paranormal erotic/romance hybrid author. Hybrid because I have one series that is traditionally published, and four books that are self-published. I write about strong heroines who have lived through or experienced something horrible from abuse whether physical, sexual, or emotional, to depression, but fight, struggle and conquer it all, in a paranormal erotica/romance setting.

Some of her works are deep or considered controversial--the Alt World Series--as they delve in detail into abuse, whereas others are meant to be lighthearted and just fun. She also has a series that is in-between.

She's sarcastic funny & her family thinks she's crazy for several reasons, but most recently because she told them the best chip to use as a weapon when ninja stars are unavailable are Lays potato chips--original of course. According to her, "They're as thin as razors." Who can argue with that logic?

Her favorite phrases are "Oh snap & Word," and her favorite hair color is blue/black.

I cannot get enough of this Author! She has cast a spell on me! I want more, I can't read enough of her work! Hot sex, alpha male shifters, true love, trials, tribulations, and breakthroughs. The descriptions of all the characters are so life like, her detail is amazing! When we learn the story and it is a page turner, we find out about Elle and her mates and what motivates them. Being close doesn't hurt.wow, when you turn the page and read that sex scene, you need a fan! Whew it's getting really hot in here. Highly recommended read!

I read Elle's Claim and fell in love with Elle! That is one scary chick! She's many things she-wolf, mate to 3 alphas, and Seelie Queen. She's very old and powerful. 1200 years to be exact. Her father figure and mentor has betrayed her. Set her up to be handed to a sadistic wolf named Caleb. She gets her memory back and she is pissed off! Cole, Jaxon, and Declan have these new powers. Darn cool ones too. Jaxon can separate wolfs from their hosts, Cole can revert shifters to their original werewolf form, and Declan...damn he is a sight to behold he is fire...literally! He grows really big too. Anyways, so much happens in this book. Although not happy Cole sends his pack away those who wanna go and others who choose to go with them to war. Cole varies times in this book acts like a jerk and constantly questions her. I dont think he's used to having "The Alpha of all Alphas" as his mate. Funny thing is she MAKES him submit to her at one point because he does a no-no. That was a hot scene. :) Elle also gives her mates their soul when she completes the mating. Awww. Lots of betrayal going on in the form of her mate(s) parents. Ouch! This King Adolf is a sadist a-hole. Tries to force a mating and she just kinda laughs. Sad thing is he has someone kill her adopted son Thomas who was 4 months old. She has 9 adopted children. Truly sad and just wrong that he did that. She isn't having it though. Future is bleak especially Declans. He sees that he'll die more or less plus his brothers and Elle vows to change that. She cant cope losing any of them and wont. So, Elle is spending lost of "quality" time with her mates...under the table was HILARIOUS! Loved it. So...Prince Daric challenged Elle to the death which she answers and kills him in 2 seconds. :) At the end we find out she is pregnant with 5 pups...ends on cliffhanger. I very much loved this book. I encourage you read it. Much more is to come obviously because that rat bastard Adolf is still alive. He better be scared.

This is the second book in the Shifter Fates series. You will definitely want to read book one first as this one picks up right where the other left off.

I have to say for a relatively new author I've been pretty impressed so far with Laila Raimes. She has managed to bring a magical world to life in both of the books in the Shifter Fates series.

Elle's secrets have been found out. Not only has someone close to her betrayed her to Adolf but now her mates pack members are in danger. Now is the time for everyone to come together and make a stand. But can her mates accept that her fate is not her own?

Now that Declan, Cole, and Jaxson know who Elle really is they are all scrambling to figure out their place in her life and the future war. Out of all three of them Cole is having a hard time letting go and admitting that Elle is an alpha in her own right.

I am absolutely loving this series! I really enjoyed all the main characters. Considering that there are four of them I have to say I was happy that the author was able to portray each individual character fully. They each have chapters with their POV.

Elle is such a bad-ass! I adore the fact that she is so strong. In book two we see her maternal side as well. Declan is finally opening up to both his mate and his brothers. I liked his sweet side that come out with the children. Jaxson is still the sexy beast he was before and Cole is a stubborn ass. Curious to see where this series goes next.

Wow, I thought the first book was intense! In the second book on the series, the stakes get even higher for Elle and I just loved it!

Elle has to be one of my favorite paranormal romance heroines. She's the mate of three alphas, a Seelie queen and she-wolf. At the age of 1200, she isn't the kind of woman to be messed with or taken lightly.

But that's exactly what happens in this second book. I was really excited to see how dark this book got and how we were able to see Elle demonstrate her powers and dominance as the Alpha of Alphas. Her mates get really cool powers to which I won't spoil but they definitely deserve their place as Elle's mates.

Adolf's Request is book two in the series. In order to understand this series it is best to read in order. It will be hard to grasp the importance of comments made in this book without knowing how the Fae and her three mates meet. The difference in this paranormal to others is the fact that the characters have actually three sometimes more "abilities". There are the main body (human), warrior body (which usually stands extremely tall) and then the other paranormal body such as wolf. This is not a mindless read. You do need to keep track of each individual because it is told from different individuals point of views but it is still enjoyable.

And here I thought the first book was epic! This series just keeps getting more intense with each chapter! Author Laila Raimes really is in a class of her own. This isn't just your typical shifter series, I guarantee that! Very fast paced but not to the point to where you're lost, there's no confusion whatsoever. Author Laila Raimes has built a beautiful world within this series. With some smoking hot romance scenes and action packed from cover to cover. A highly addictive series!
The war is about to start and tragic events take place but just you wait to see what happens.
I absolutely love this series. I can't put it down! In fact, I'm starting Declan's Descent RIGHT NOW!

This is a action packed paranormal romance. The second book in the Shifter Fates series. I recommend this for adults only due to the sexual content. Yes another cliff hanger, but WOW! I am looking forward to the next book! This book is very heated and I mean that in more ways than one, you must read to find out what I referring too. Elle is always full of surprises as we learned in the first book, but is there no end to her amazing abilities! Regardless of her sassy and powerful self she also hurts, and grief has no prejudice. Get your tissue box ready for this book.


Elle has found her mates, and they all three have separate needs. She is torn between being protected or being the protector. Elle's mates must understand she is more powerful than all of them, and they need to trust and support her. There is no time for them to be divided. Sadly during all the preparing for the future war, Elle experiences loss. A sudden death that she is having a very hard time dealing with. With love and support Elle realizes she has so many that need her. Elle and her mates take some needed time for themselves, and wow what a hot situation.

Adolf’s Request byLaila Raimes second book in the Shifter Fates series

Laughed, cried, rejoiced, erotic and longed for alpha’s arms around me. This installment had me on the edge of my seat. The complexity of the characters and the story line is remarkable. Elle has lived many lives and has acquired many skills. What she thought was her fate maybe turning out to be a lie.

The betrayal runs deep and Elle is struggling to keep her head straight. For the first time she doesn’t know what is coming next. What she does know for sure is she loves her mates and will do everything in her power to ensure they live.

Laila has a gift to tell a twisted tale of paranormal creatures that span several realms and a strong feminine Alpha that can make the strongest of men bow at her feet. The tale is one you must pay attention to and she leaves you with just enough bread crumbs to start piecing together what is going only to have it change direction again. The amount of love and wickedly erotic sex scenes leaves the reader is a wet puddle and in need of relief but there is a good balance with the action.

If you love to read paranormal romances with a strong story line and erotic scenes then this is defiantly the book for you.

i was given a copy for my honest review :) i love this series i didnt think this could get any better and it does laila really knows how to hock you into the story and im hocked elles still a super badass shes my top favorite female characters Cole was sometimes a jerk and constantly questioned her there was some really hot scenes between the four of them by hot i really mean HOOOOOOOT and the banter was just awesome also then there were times when i wanted to cry im really scared about reading Declan's Descent i fell like there will be ugly crying going on <3

I was given this for my honest review. This has been a great second part and picks right up and you get pulled right back into the story. There is no end of surprises with twists, turns and revelations with so much erotic emotions you are swept away in it but you will also need tissues with a loss you wouldn't have for seen. The magical world with all the strength, protectiveness, loyalty, shifters all into one is absolutely one hell of a journey so far....... looking forward to the next one.
