I feel bad to say this (and trust me I've TRIED to get interested) but the top 3 topics I find the most boring to read about in the world is US politics, the crisis in the middle east (I have tried to read up on it so many times, I feel I'm failing as a human but it honestly bores the pants off me) and espionage.
Enter: Phil Elwood, whose memoir is about US politics, the middle east, and spies. Yawn.
Add to these boring topics a narrator who clearly has no remorse for his actions and uses bipolar and depression to somehow excuse his despicable behaviour.
