She’s a modern woman in love with a medieval knight. He imagines her ghostly image. Will love be enough to bring them together? Sometimes to find your future, you must look to the past…
Katherine Wakefield has dreamed of her knight in shining armor all her life. Never finding a man to measure up to her imagination, she and her three closest friends take a trip to England. But she never could have anticipated the strange turn of events when visiting Bamburgh Castle and she’s thrown back in time.
Riorden de Deveraux knows his past life is about to catch up. But nothing prepares him for the beautiful vision of a strangely clad ghost who first appears in his chamber. And when they strike up an otherworldly conversation, he never could have predicted that she would capture his heart.
With centuries that should keep Katherine from her love, she holds tight to a fragile hope of staying. But when his past could consume their joint future, Riorden will do whatever it takes to keep them together.

It felt too long. Not sure if it was because all of the side romances or something else, but it kind of dragged on. Also, I'm not usually a big fan of using a lot of flowery words when describing sex scenes. I prefer it to be a little more blunt.
I really wanted to like this more than I did. I liked the premise; Ms. Ewing didn't overdo the "magic". I also liked that when Katherine had a premonition, she made a determined effort to change her future if she didn't like what she dreamed. Riordan and the other guys were larger than life. I would have liked to have seen a little more realism - humanity, foibles - in the men and Katherine's friends. The instant comprehension of language also bugged me. Still - there was a plot, and a dilemma (actually several), and most of the loose ends got wrapped up. A HFN, which is why a sequel was written. And may well be read, after I have digested this one a bit more.
This book centers around four friends - friends like you may wish you had, so close they consider themselves sisters. Despite their young age, their experiences have left them disillusioned with love and romance. However one of them, Katherine, has very vivid dreams about a man she has never met, yet feels she has always known and loved.
Well, this wouldn't be much of a romance if she didn't meet him, right? Ms. Ewing keeps you guessing for a while about when and how it will happen, then when it does, you are swept along with Katherine into medieval England during the time of John II. It was fun to see modern characters react to the things in the past that are different and the things from their own time that they missed. And the reaction of characters from the past to them, as well and how they had to be mindful of different things.
And there is plenty of romance! Katherine and Riorden, of course, but also other characters, including a couple in the past, Dristan and Amiria, that I really liked. And you wonder - will they be able to stay together? Or must some of them be separated, perhaps forever, by circumstance and time.
This is time travel at its best! I thoroughly enjoyed this first book of Riorden and Katherine's story, a love story in which 800 years couldn't keep them apart. Katherine is a modern day woman and Riorden is an English Knight from the past. Having seen each other in their dreams and even speaking their thoughts to each other, they ache to be able to touch and your heart really goes out to them.
When Katherine and her 3 best friends find themselves traveling back in time, she and Riorden are finally united and the love they share surpasses all of time. Many hurdles are thrown their way and many times their love is tested. I also enjoyed how this author mixed real life historical events with her imagination, it really makes for a fascinating story.
I now look forward to reading book 2 in Riorden and Katherine's story.....
I’ve read a few of Sherry Ewing’s books and enjoyed them immensely finding her stories fascinating. I’m partial to time travel romances and the whole concept of time traveling so looked forward to this story. This is a lighthearted, enjoyable story.
Our main characters Katherine and Riorden see one another in their dreams. I loved the premise of the story. I think Sherry told it well and beautifully. Katherine and Riorden’s story continues into the book “Only for You (The Knights of Berwyck, A Quest Through Time Novel Book 2).” The rest of the characters were fun, interesting and engaging.
This is a fun read with intrigue, mystery, adventure, passion and romance.
Thank you Sherry for such a delightful story filled with romance.
I am glad I gave this book a chance. After not liking the first medieval book I read by this author very much I wasn't sure if I wanted to read her time travel book. Well, I have to say I loved this book! Even so it's a little cheesy at times there is plenty to laugh about. Just picture four modern women going back in time and trying to explain some of the things they are used to. It's thoroughly enjoyable. And, yes, it's love at first sight for all of them - something I don't believe in. But, it's perfect for a story. Makes it all swoon-worthy. Can't wait to read the second book in the series.
❤️❤️❤️❤️Sigh❤️❤️❤️❤️ This is book should seriously be turned in to a movie! One minute my heart was a big puddle of sweetness the next I laughed so hard. Katherine and Riorden an English Knight ⚔️⚔️⚔️Fall in love through their dreams Despite being 800 years apart. When Riorden prays for Katherine she along with her 3 best friends are pulled through time so Katherine and Riorden can be together. What falls is a journey of love and friendship as Katherine is not the only one to fall in love with a Knight. ⚔️⚔️⚔️

I took a chance with this author not knowing if I was going to like it or not. I try to avoid time travel books, but this one called to me. I was a bit apprehensive at first but then I was able to visualize what Miss Ewing was trying to convey. She did a masterful job at showing us what this world was like and conveying it to its full potential. Wonderfully written and visually stunning. The world and character building was fabulous and you get the sense that you might want to visit or live within these pages.

For All of Ever is one of the best books I have read in a long time. Not just because it has elements of time travel [who doesn’t love the possibilities], not just because it is set in 12th century Britain but because the characters are so realistic and likeable that you get totally absorbed in their story. There is timeless love, obstacles, wars and hardships to overcome and you are rooting for them all along their journey. This is basically the story of one of four best-friend “sisters”. Although they all go on the journey of a lifetime together, each of their stories will end differently and I can hardly wait to read the next one. Well done Sherry..
The first book in The Knights of Berwyck, A Quest Through Time series a well written story that kept me turning pages. I enjoyed reading Katherine Wakefield a modern woman who goes back to medieval times with her two best friends and meets knight Riorden de Deveraux, Emily and Juliana meet Tiernan and Danior, the men who come into their life. A time travel story at it's best. I want to read more in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Katherine dreams of a knight, and they can see each other and communicate in spirit. But they are separated by 800 years. Will a miracle happen to unite them, and if it does will their love survive testing? I loved these characters and their unique and beautiful story.

For All Of Ever takes us back in time with Katherine Wakefield to find her knight in shining armor. Who doesn't like a knight in shining armor. A wonderfully imaginative medieval romance, and a good read.
Wow! This was an amazing book. It transported back to another lifetime. Ewing magically tells a story about love that transcends time. Excellent reading!
3.5 stars. The beginning was promising, but later I got a bit disappointed. No angst, not very convincing. But I liked the unusual idea of storyline: the heroes first fall in love and only then were looking how to meet through time, not other way around 🤓
Katherine Wakefield is fed up with men of her time. They’re rude, conceited, and just overall not gentleman; nothing like the men of old she writes about. Or dreams about. In short, none can compare to her knight in armor who comes to her at all hours of the day. The one she can see and feel his presence but cannot touch. Riorden de Deveraux, knight to King Henry II, vows there is no such thing as love after being lied to and betrayed by the one woman who he wanted to be with forever. So what accounts for his constant visions of the lady in strange clothing and how he can feel her presence; and how does he know her name? Katherine and her friends vacation in England touring all the places Katherine writes and dreams about. However, she doesn’t forsee how they affect her or how they will change her future forever. Riorden cannot escape the visions of his lady and now he’s talking to her. Wanting nothing to do with a ghost he denounces her and demands she return to where she’s from. He’s confused by his unexpected feelings when he realizes how he has hurt her. He prays her soul will find peace so she may rest in eternity. A prayer that has an outcome he’s not expecting. Realizing they are each flesh and blood transcends into a love story that had this reader breathing s deep sigh. Add in the differences between centuries, an Irish rebel, a displeased King, and travels into the unknown and you have Sherry Ewing’s exciting tale of one love and two centuries coming together. While Ms. Ewing’s story concentrates on the main characters she gives enough hints of secondary characters (without taking away from Katherine and Riorden) that this reader is anxious to see what lies ahead.
Since reading "If My Heart Could See You" and "A Knight to Call My Own", I've become a fan of Sherry Ewing and her infectious style of storytelling!
In "For All of Ever" we return to Berwyck castle on the medieval English/Scottish border. This time there's an exceptional twist! Time travel! We join Katherine and her three very modern friends on the journey of a lifetime as they venture to present day England. Something happens and (woosh) they're sent back in time to the 15th century! Just as all that happens, Katherine falls in love with a handsome knight... Enter Riordan de Deveraux. You may recall him from "If My Heart Could See You" as the captain of the guard of Berwyck. This is his story of how upon his father's death Riordan is commanded by his king to take the title due him, but in order to do so he must confront the woman who broke his heart years earlier... The woman he was betrothed to until she married his father instead! Twisted, I know! When Riordan sees Katherine, his heart starts to mend as he wants to make her his wife. This is the story of how nothing, not even time, can stop the course of true love.
Sherry Ewing, once again enchants readers with her artfully woven tales of love and healing in the age of chivalry.
Wow! After reading Sherry's first novel, If My Heart Could See You, I didn't think it could get any better. How wrong I was. I love historical novels, especially when time travel is involved and Sherry Ewing does not disappoint in this exciting and impeccably written novel of time travel. Meet Katherine and Riorden, who have dreamed of each other for years .... I don't do spoilers, so you'll have to read this one to see how this amazing story of love and hope unravels. Time separates these two by centuries and the way Sherry writes their love story is fascinating, to say the least. I love the way her stories include those from her other books, so in ways it is a bit of an epilogue from If My Heart Could See You (which was incredible, by the way!).
This is a must read historical time travel novel and I strongly recommend this wonderful journey of words that Sherry magically creates into a phenomenal book, For All of Ever.
I do adore historical romances of any kind. I also enjoy time travel and to have them both in one story is extremely good to read for me... at least. I enjoyed the first story of series, If My Heart Could See You, that I jumped to A Knight To Call My Own. Then, I felt I was missing something so I purchased this book... OMG... well worth it! This story was so good, it had me captivated from the beginning up until the last page! So much in it. The author kept track for you on all the characters involved that one never forgets who's who. If you enjoy to read a good romance and about time travel this story is good as a stand-alone as well as the whole series. That too, is another reason I am happy about this story. It can be left at that, but if you really want more from this author you can read the whole series, your choice, no cliffhangers.
‘For All of Ever’ was my first book I read of Ms.Ewing. It has been a while since I read a historical romance and what a treat to be able to fall back into this world and be reminded of why I loved reading historicals. The first ghostly encounters Katherine has with her knight at Bamburgh castle are so vividly described that I almost felt like I was there witnessing as Katherine lovingly stroked over furniture to when she yearningly reached for Riorden, her knight. I felt the winds on the battlement and smelled the fresh air where Katherine and Riorden first shared a touch that connected, flesh to flesh, after her and her friends where transported back in time. I felt the charging. I smiled a lot, laughed, worried and cried as the story unfolded. Thank you, Ms.Ewing for allowing us to get to know Katherine, Riorden and their family and friends.
This is a lovely medieval time travel romance. I really enjoyed it! It was fun to read about four ladies thrown back into time and finding their heart's desires. There ARE two main characters, Riorden and Katherine who were terrific together. The supporting characters (the ladies and their knights) added to the storyline.
I can't wait for "Only for You," the continuation of Riorden's and Katherine's story.
Now, onto "If My Heart Could See You" by Sherry Ewing. I can't read about these two characters who appear in "For All of Ever." :)
My heart was captured from the very beginning and throughout this novel! I was impressed with how the way ladies adapted to each event and obstacle thrown in their path and still managed to find true love for all time! This book gives voice to every one dream of love and adventure, I highly recommend this book for you romantic at heart!
This book was so ridiculous I couldn't finish it. Nothing made any sense. Four best friends fall in love with 4 men within 3 days. Just plain unrealistic. However, it's fantasy, so some may enjoy it.
Honestly This is the first book besides Romeo and Juliet (in School 25yrs ago) about Knights and Castles. So I wasnt sure how to rate against other. At times it seemed to drag. Its a HEA but Im more of his time period and realistic type books. That being said.
