Walking into the whimsical world of Trivium was a really fun and enjoyable experience that swept me up and kept my eyes glued to the page and my cheeks heating. You really were transported to this fanatastical world, hanging on each line like you'd get lost in the city streets of Jarrah if you didn't get to the next chapter. The characters in this books were so unique and distinct! Each point of view felt like truly seeing out a different lense. Every character had such depth and intrigue ... but I have to say Zeina was my favorite 😚 a real charmer some would say.

I don’t think I’ve ever read a book with so little world-building, but THIS IS MY PERFECT VERSION OF FANTASY. It’s not too long, not too heavy, not too complicated. I was considering taking off a star because I know there are people who would feel like something is missing because of that, but I’M GIVING IT THE RATING, AND I LOVED IT!
Multiple POVs can sometimes intimidate me, and this time it also took me a few chapters to get used to them and learn which girl was which, but it was so cool to read about how each of them had such completely different experiences in the same place! Also, a separate + point for the chapter lengths. They were short, and we moved through the story so quickly.
I genuinely recommend this book, and I’d even happily buy a physical copy just to have it sitting on my shelf as a keepsake.

Can they create a found family and learn to trust themselves and each other?
I found the world of Trivium, and its magical creatures, absolutely enchanting. Jenna Ruby’s descriptions of Jarrah and the Academy are incredibly vivid and magical. From the get go, I felt as though I was walking alongside the three FMC’s. Each has a completely unique personality and voice. Multiple side characters were also full realized and felt almost like MC’s themselves. Readers will enjoy the adorable romance, and a sprinkle of yearning, that adds to the depth of the story, without being the main focal point of the plot.
The plethora of mystical creatures in Trivium were by far my favourite aspect of the book. They were incredibly unique and vividly described. I greatly enjoyed the animal encounters and untangling how they were interwoven with the hidden secrets and ancient magic.
Overall I found the pacing of the story to be consistent but perhaps a tad rushed at the end. The plot twists however were excellent, and I didn’t see them coming.
Trivium is an enchanting and mystical world that will keep you fully engrossed, while piecing together how long hidden secrets, ancient magic and magical creatures may all be intertwined.

as most fantasy books, the first chapters felt a little slow because of having to explain everything that's going on, but i can't decide if after that the plot went faster or stayed slow
loveleena was kind of... just there even when (i felt that) the plot was supposed to be working around her need to find park. she was impulsive and kind of rude for no reason at times, and didn't actually feel connected to her so 🫤 i hope the next book can give me another perspective of her
ahmina was better handled than loveleena but still not quite there for me? her romance subplot with lennox was cute but it was too fast - went from "so this guy is curious" to "i love you you're the main reason i keep going" because yeah, he helped her a lot yet at some point it started to feel as if she was trying to do better just to get his approval ;; maybe that was just me though
zeina was just chef kiss 🩷 her whole character gives me "i saw. i came. i conquered." vibes and i love her for that!! she was interesting without trying and i enjoyed her chapters very much jjj she's really that girl

Trivium by Jenna Ruby - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I honestly loved this book so much! I was completely obsessed with the three different POVs and getting to experience the story through each of the main characters. Each one had their own story, and I loved how different they all felt while still being connected.
The world-building was probably one of my favourite parts because it felt so natural. I never felt like I was being given too much information at once, and instead, I just kept wanting to discover more and more.
The separated society really caught my attention too. A city divided by this HUGE wall, with magical creatures on the other side?! It honestly gave me Maze Runner vibes, but with such a mysterious and magical twist. I was so curious about what was beyond the wall and what was actually going on.
I also loved all the twists and how every character had their own unique story. There were so many moments where I thought I knew what was happening and then… nope 😂.
It’s such a unique, creative and genuinely enjoyable story, and I seriously could not stop reading. I just wanted MORE every time I put it down.
Needless to say… I NEED BOOK 2 ASAP. 😭✨

I would give this book more stars if I could.
The story is beautifully crafted and it’s written so well. It almost always takes me a few chapters to get really into a book but this one had me hooked after just a couple pages. I couldn’t put it down!
I always love the multiple POV style and having 3 of them was interesting, especially once the reason for it was revealed. Scenes are described in the perfect amount of detail - you can really picture them without feeling the need to skip over some of the details and get on with the story. The relationships and the story develop at the perfect pace.
Throughout the book you truly don’t know what’s coming next, but it all fits together so well.
I can’t wait for the next one, and I'll likely reread this one while we wait!

Personally, I think it's great that you have 3 storylines that come together and are connected in the end, yet still reveal different perspectives on their insights regarding the academic world and how they experience it.
I also thought Lennox was great, especially his character and how he wants to do everything for Ahmina. And I like Ren; he is mysterious, but secretly he also has another side.

I had the privilege of getting this book for an ARC review. I usually am not a fan of the multi POV because it’s hard for me to keep track but in this world it was flawless! I loved the build up of each character, each of them being on campus for their personal reasons while existing within the same team. The character being from each social class was a perfect touch in understanding this world. The build felt natural and it was subtle in the most perfect way without the overwhelming you with details. I also loved how each character’s story was paced perfectly and didn’t drag out details which is what made keeping up with each character. I will be getting a physical copy to add to my shelf. I can’t wait for the second book!

This book was so good! I loved the characters and each of their stories. Nothing felt rushed with the character building. All three characters Loveleena, Ahmina, and Zeina unique and compelling characters. I am just getting into the fantasy genre and I loved how easy and interesting the world is. I enjoyed the academy and all the challenges the girls had to endure. I also enjoyed the friendships. This book had a really good unexpected twist. I will def be reading the next book. I also like the romance and the plot in general. Very interesting and fun. I love the female empowerment and how dedicated each girl is to their family and passions.

I enjoyed every moment that I was transported to Jarrah and beyond the Wall. The magic system, separated society, magical creatures, and the "unknown" beyond the wall built a captivating and engaging world.
I really liked the multiple POV. Each FMC was unique and interesting; their backstories and personalities added to how the story was told and experienced. Of course, I also loved the romantic interests and the slow burn tension!
The story was well paced. I did not want to put it down.
I cannot wait for book 2!!

Oh my gosh I loved this book! I loved all the characters from the beginning. I not only related to them but loved their dynamics. This world was so interesting and well written. Everything about this book was amazing and I was hooked the entire time. Jenna Ruby has done such an amazing job and I’m so excited to see what else she writes in the future I can’t wait for the second book and I had so much fun reading this book. Make sure to check it out when it releases.

I can't believe this is Jenna Ruby's first novel! The characters she has introduced us to are well developed and her description of their world, their city and their academy make you feel like you are there along with them. Following Loveleena, Ahmina and Zeina on their adventures kept me turning the pages! Can't wait for the next one!

I absolutely loved this slow-burn fantasy! The world-building was beautiful, the characters were easy to get attached to, and the romance had just the right amount of tension. It takes its time, but the buildup makes everything so much more rewarding. Definitely a great read if you love fantasy, romance, and a little bit of angst! ✨📖
