The intro clearly states this book is about money-tizing your website/blog to create "passive" income. Not certain how passive it can be when you constantly, daily or more often per the instructions, are creating solid content. Takes me about an hour per blog entry now - that is hardly "passive". If you are not going to add advertisements, click-through, or set up a store, you should pass on this book - the rest of this "Ultimate Wordpress Newbie Guide" information is presented better elsewhere.
On at least three occasions the book mentions websites setup is "hard" (is he also selling webcreation services? - I did not see anything along those lines) and on another occasion he says it is expensive (for the webhosting). Not very useful in telling me how to set up "blogs and websites in minutes easily" ... and as for professional guidance, there is none. This is basically a discussion on what decisions you need to make before setting up your blog - no step-by-step or even real hints on how actual "creating wordpress blogs and websites".
Chapter Six is totally outdated at this time. Nearly all hosting sites are pre-setup with a one-click activation of Wordpress and you don't have to go through the "difficult" process of figuring out how to upload the program to your host.
Since this book is totally useless for setting up an actual website, I marked it way down. It got one star for having some minorly useful information on money-tizing your website. But please don't think that anything to do with having an active blog - like the networking, content creation, and protecting it from hackers (all of which are covered in this book in an acceptable, if not above average manner) - is going to be "passive". Having a blog which makes money is a second job, not a sit-back job.
