The third and final book in the Blair Dubh trilogy.
The day of reckoning for the small village of Blair Dubh on the west coast of Scotland has finally arrived. When two residents are murdered in their own home and a third commits suicide, the villagers think the latest tragedy to hit the village is over. However, it is only just beginning. A sniper stalks the village, picking off the residents one by one.
Craig Donaldson finds himself trapped in Blair Dubh once more, hunting down a murderer. At least his wife Freya and their young son are safe back in Glasgow, out of the danger zone. But it isn't long before Freya too is drawn back into the village by the terrible power it has over her. This fresh tragedy finally draws out the secret of Blair Dubh, a secret so terrible it threatens to steal not only Freya's life but her sanity too.
Contains strong language and scenes of violence. Please note, this book is part of a series and is not a stand-alone novel.

Author of over seventy books so far. Living on the beautiful west coast of Scotland with my husband, twin daughters and a cat called Mavis, although I am originally from Lancashire in the north of England.
My tastes in all things are eclectic, which extends to my writing. Although I primarily write crime books - especially gangland thrillers - I also write gothic historical romance and fantasy. I publish on Amazon Kindle and some of my novels are available in paperback too. I also have a traditional publishing contract with Boldwood Books.
When I'm not writing - which isn't very often - I enjoy reading Daphne Du Maurier, Edgar Allan Poe, Shirley Jackson, MR James and the Brontes, among many others. I also enjoy swimming, walking and spending time with my family.
Wow what can I say, I don't want to spoil this for future readers but it's very good. Craig and Freya certainly go through it in this final book. Serial killer, secrets told and shocks at very turn I enjoyed this series of books, not my usual reading choice but I was on the edge of my seat in all three books. Definitely worth a read.
Wow the last in the Blair dubh trilogy and what a final book lived this as much as the other two heather atkinson never fails to keep me in suspense and on the edge of my seat
Thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy. Definitely recommend any of Heather Atkinson books I've read loads of them. Can't wait for book 11 unfinished business series
