Unforgettable!

What can I say... Wow! This book was thrilling. I enjoyed the three POV's and liked each main character's unique perspective on 'the game' and love. The love triangle between Melody, Miguel and Kane was fascinating. Some of the subject matter was a little hard to read but I'm glad I persevered to the end. I agree, the ending had to happen the way it did although it had me feeling a little conflicted about it. I just love Kenya Wright, excellent job as always.

Kenya Wright has quickly become one of my top writers. I read the Blood Queen Series and fell in love with the clear talent has for telling a story. I immediately sought out her other works and found this series. I have never read a book series so fast. Her writing is so visually and vividly crafted. Better than any TV show I could ever watch. It’s amazing to trip and stumble across this level of talent. I look forward to reading all her works.

This was new for me

This is not the typical Schreba read but I liked it. This had traces of romance but this was action packed, bloody, and suspenseful! I actually felt sorry for Miguel. Crazy right! When she remembered I felt sorry for her and at the end, I felt sorry for Kane. I would definitely recommend this book. #cillasbookmaniacs

Brilliant!

OMG! Those three books......whew! Kept me on the edge of my seat, wanting more. I lost sleep reading, sneaking away at work to read more, and an now interested in learning to play chess. You never disappoint, and this was the best yet! Keep them coming.

~~~~~~~~~~Dee's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Now all the chess pieces gather into place. All secrets are revealed, horrors from the past are revisited, assassins gather, plans are made and bodies begin to pile up. Soon the game will be over but some hearts will never heal, some monsters and nightmares will never die. The reader is left with feelings of sadness and a sense of hopelessness and inevitability. This trilogy is heavy and dark in content but the flow and details made it believable. I can only hope no human being has ever experienced such trauma. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Five Stars!
Book 3 continues with this very unique story line of 3 killers working for the same organization. Who will win? Who will lose? Who will die? The author does a good job of keeping the suspense going throughout the entire series. Even though you think you are getting to know one of the characters, she'll throw a little twist or secret in there to keep you on your toes. This story is also told in multiple POV just like the first two. Just like the first two, the chess references continue in this third installment. All loose ends are tied up in this final installment of the series. Don't want to give away what happens but just say be prepared for a very sad ending.
Definitely no HEA, no cliffhanger this time and you should not read this as a stand alone. Go back and read the first 2 installments before reading this one. It'll make more sense and you'll get more appreciation for the story.
I found the last installment of Bad For You a bit scattered and all over the place but good nonetheless.
I think that by the time I got to the third book I felt like the story had been dragged long enough but for no good reason. Bad for you 2 had already revealed most of the things I wanted to know save for a few minor details. So I felt a little bit cheated that I had to purchase another book in order to know how it all ends.
I will say that this chess game was truly suspenseful and kept my interest trough the end. My heart cannot take those dark and twisted stories all the time but when they are as well written as Kenya Wright's story, they are a (guilty and painful)pleasure to read. Thank you for this well thought out story with those twists and turns! I can't say I am satisfied with the ending but I also know a HEA would have been impossible. I can't believe you got me over here ugly crying over the fact that such invincible love could exist between such scarred and broken characters!
I will definitely support ms Wright's work from now on because I am a fan!!
I just finished reading this book and I must say I did not see that ending at all, it's poignant. This story was amazing I finished the third installment in under an hour and now I don't think I can start reading another book today because every unread book in my right now library looks dull after this one. I recommend it highly.
This book is crazy and i loved it. The whole series was unpredictable and you never knew how it would finish. I didnt expect it to end like it did and it was very interesting and little sad to. I give this author high marks because its not often books stump me.
I loved books 1 and 2 of this series but this book left me disappointed. I expected Melody to wake up from the fantasy world she was roaming in. I didn't want her character to become so weak to ask for death.
It took so long to put put the final book, i had to reread the first two. I loved the crazy story line and how it unfold for the reader to slowly discover the truth. Just an awesome book by an awesome author. No happy ever after type of book. But it was very enjoyable while it last.
