I really enjoyed so many aspects of these books and there were some parts that got on my nerves I felt some of the early books 1&2 dragged a bit too much .There was also too many similar and repetitive sex scenes which I found myself skipping . There were also many typo errors too in the various books . However saying this I found the storylines gripping to read they kept me wondering what was going to evolve , I really enjoyed the last 2 books the most. my first experience of this author will try other books now .

Ok so I know that the box set isn't out yet, but I have already read the entire Austin Series and let me tell you it is incredible!

It's a story of young love, but with scorching sex scenes and seriously funny moments littered throughout, it is NOT your usual New Adult / College book. Definitely for the over 18's.

It's a joy to follow Mia Page on her journey, from attempting to have a sexual relationship only with the gorgeous Gabe Austin (Swoon :-) My favourite ever book boyfriend) and failing miserably to keep her feelings and emotions out of their arrangement. From sex only they progress to a full on passionate and intense relationships that is filled with the kind of drama that tears couples apart. These two fight to the death to hold onto each other and their character development from book one to the beautifully written ending is simply sensational.

I've read a few negative reviews about character development in book one, but in my opinion some of these readers were missing the point, sex was all Mia could offer at the beginning and you did see how she struggled with trying not to feel for such a charismatic man like Gabe, when it ended she was distraught and hurt, proving that it actually wasn't just about sex for her, despite her protestations to the contrary. Each book there on peels back the layers on each of the characters exposing their flaws, showing how they try and cope with them and ultimately grow as individuals, couples and the very best of friends. Those who don't continue are really missing out on an amazing story. In a series, something has to be held back in each book, or what is there to look forward to in the next one?

Much as this series focusses on Mia and Gabe, there are a few other love stories interwoven. Mia and Lexi being one of those. Mia really has two great loves in her life, Gabe and Lexi. They have an amazing best friend relationship, more like twin sisters and the scenes that feature the two of them are often side splittingly hilarious.

This series has made me cry tears of happiness, sadness, gut wrenching sobs as I felt the characters pain in parts, it's made me giggle, laugh out loud and put down my kindle as I was laughing too much to continue. I've also yelled in frustration at some of the very real human mistakes they made along the way. There was also suspense, plot twists and some serious tension.

This is one series I am going to love returning to over and over and I can't wait to read more by CJ. I just hopes that she returns to do a sequel or some spin offs. These characters have wormed their way so deeply into my heart I am going to miss them so much.

This is a must read series beyond a shadow of a doubt.

An authors summary of The Austin Series. The Complete Box Set is due out on 1st September 2014.

Following the lives of Mia Page and her best friend Lexi Clarke as they embark on a new life at University in England, The Austin Series is about personal growth, sexual awakening, the bonds of friendship, first love and the development of trust in a sexual and romantic relationship with the view to the ultimate commitment and a happy ever after.

The series contains plenty of hot erotica, romance and humour and as the series progresses so does the character growth of the main protagonists.

Mia is so scared of falling for someone, and being let down and hurt again, that all she is willing to offer in the beginning is sex. She wants to remain completely detached and leave her emotions at the door. She didn't count on the gorgeous and very persistent Gabe Austin, who along with taking her virginity, starting chipping at the walls around her heart with a view to winning her over completely. Their sexual and romantic journey forms the basis of the entire series, but the ride is never smooth.

The books are designed to be read in the following sequence:

Destined (The Austin Series Prequel)
Gives a insight into the mind of Gabe Austin and why he is the controlling alpha male that he is.

New Leaves, No Strings
Mia's pact to lose her virginity and remain completely emotionally detached while she has fun, while Lexi attempts to tone down her coping mechanism of one night stands and sustain a relationship.

Baggage & Buttons
Flaws are revealed and work on insecurities and issues commences. This charts willingness to try and change, to let go and fall in love.

Forever & an Engine
Romance blossoms as characters learn what it is to love, and be loved. They are realising that sometimes you have to put others needs before your own.

The Honeymoon Period
Love is tested to its limits during the period where relationships often fall apart. It's about strength and determination to succeed, regardless of obstacles.

Love & Loss
Some relationships strengthen, others fall at the wayside. Realising what is important in life and letting go of what is not.

Infinite Love
In the concluding chapter of these characters lives, will all of them have their happy ever afters?

Ladies grab yourself a fantastic series. Well well worth the read! You will fall in love with the main characters and by far a better read than 50SOG! CJ really brings the story and characters to life and it's real life situations that you can relate to.

ALL ABOARD THE ROLLER COASTER OF PANTY DROPPIN' HOTNESS

Book #1: I LOVED the story lines and erotica. Grey & Crossfire fans will be sexually pleased. The book even makes references to those books, which I liked. :). A virgin female meets a VERY experienced male in college. Both characters have baggage and it makes for a roller coaster of emotions. Neither has experienced love before and the sexual chemistry makes for an ever deeper connection. Who needs to communicate verbally when you can look into your lover’s eyes and feel even deeper emotions without the words? There is a cliff hanger that had digging into the next one immediately after reading this one. I read this book within a day. Gabe & Mia's sex life had me missing my husband.

Book #2: The roller coaster of raw sexual desire, romance, and emotion continues yet again. You will not be able to put this book down. It brings out the naughty sexuality deep inside us all. A strong independent female learning what it is to love someone and as equally independent and dominant male obsessed makes for lots of ups and downs. But the sex is amazing and kind of makes you feel a little dirty for wanting to watch, lol. Again.. Cliffhanger!

Book #3: Miss Fallowfield's writing keeps getting better as the series progresses. I LOVED it and would recommend it to anyone who loves a strong dominant male and independent female equally as dominant. A wonderful combination of romance and sex. I'd let Gabe be my engine any day. It tinkers on the edge of BDSM, I like that it isn't full on like 50 Shades. This is the biggest cliffhanger to date. I love how there's so many possibilities of where the story can go. Worth the read, you won't be disappointed

Book #4: One word to sum up this book PHENOMENAL. The romance, lust, sex, and quick wit are on fire. Mrs. Fallowfield has done it yet again, not that there were any doubts. Mia and Gabe are like my own dirty secret. Watching their character developments and personal growth along with their best friends Lexi and Doug is a true gem. I feel like I am experiencing everything along with them; that's how amazing the descriptions are. Just when you think everything is perfect BAM another twist has you itching for MORE, MORE, MORE. This series is a perfect balance of romance, love, and sex that takes you into a world you didn't know existed; that you want to discover more of. Now if I only had this series on DVD. ;)

Book #5: OMG, I can not get enough of Mia & Gabe. These two have evolved and came a long way to find themselves. Hot, sexy, quick wit, and sassy; who doesn't want those characteristics? I'm pretty sure I'd pay to hang with those two. I'm devoted to this series and heartbroken there's only one more book. Did you catch that cliffhanger from book four resolved? I totally did not see that coming. HOT make-up sex exhibitionist style and holidays away from home what could possibly be better that those steamy scenes?

Book #6: A magnificent culmination of The Austin Series. Well heck where do I begin? This book was smooth sailing-BAZINGA ! My emotions felt as though I was on a sailboat in rough waters. I'm quite positive I felt every human emotion possible at least twice in this book. Over the series I've laughed and cried; been happy and sad along with Mia and her crew. It's bittersweet the way the series wrapped up in the last novel. There may have been a time or two I wanted to throw my kindle from the immense disquietude of my emotions. After I invested myself through the entire romantic series I ultimately believed this book would be a sweet and uneventful wrap up of the story. Ha, It was quite the opposite. I felt connected to Mia; and her quick wit was at an all time high in this book. Mia and Lexi moments are the best. Mia and Gabe sexy time are hotter than ever. Drama is at its highest. The way Miss Fallowfield portrayed these characters is fascinating. This last book was my favorite of them all. I devoured it in two days.

I look forward to reading more novels from Miss Fallowfield.

This is the second time of reading this and I think I loved it more. It’s funny, happy and sad all wrapped up. This is an old copy so needed a proofread but it didn’t really detract from the story. Whilst I wanted it to end to read the final ending I’m also sad as for over 60 hours of reading I was part of their lives. Very moving.

I loved the books. Gabe, Mia, Lexi, all screwed up by their pasts. Gabe, sexy, controlling, learning to love but obsessed. Mia, stubborn and funny. Lexi, a true friend, downn to Earth but again stubborn. Rollercoaster of emotions for me throughout the story. Tragedy, romance, sex off the scale and oh so funny. Favourite quotes :
‘So lovely as this is, I really don’t get it, ‘A rehearsal dinner. what’s the point? Everyone knows how to eat, it’s not like the wedding’s going to be ruined because someone didn’t realise they had to sit and eat three, or in this case, seven courses.’
Well, first off I’ve no idea why it’s called a blow job,’ she announced, pouring me another large glass of wine. ‘First time I puffed my bloody heart out and he was like WTF? They really ought to call it a suck job, never blow.’
‘Well no wonder so many kids are screwed up. You’re nestled in your mum’s tummy, all warm and cosy in bed fast asleep, then all of a sudden this giant one eyed sausage bursts through the door and scares the shit out of you. If that’s not bad enough, he lulls you into a false sense of security by leaving and then “Ta Da” he’s back, then he’s gone, over and over until he completely terrifies you by spraying you with something sticky. Babies have to be fucked up for life from that.’
“We must be willing to get rid of the life we’ve planned, so as to have the life that’s waiting for us.”
‘Shouldn’t you be sat with your arse on a pillow and legs in the air?’ she asked as she climbed up next to me. ‘No,’ I laughed. ‘That’s for when you need to help the sperm find their way to your egg. Ours have already met, they’ve done speed dating, hooked up and got it on already.’
I don’t even feature in the embryos “Rough Guide” of places to stay in. I don’t even get a star rating that’s how unfriendly my welcome down there is. I may as well be a trash filled, maggot infested campsite that no one wants to stay in, or if they do they leg it after one night because the facilities don’t meet minimum standards.’
‘He does give good orgasms,’ I nodded. ‘He’s like Mr. Kipling. Exceedingly good orgasms.’

I know that the box set has not yet been officially released. BUT you must read this series. I have read all the books separately and this series will not disappoint you. I have read a lot of series and this one is one of my favourites and will never leave me. CJ writes in a way that connects you to the characters and with this series you will guarantee, laugh out loud, cry and get mad. These books take you on one hell of a journey and you will fall in love with all the characters. Gabe and Mia are two lost and broken souls who cannot deny their instant attraction to each other. Both have their demons and commitment issues but what they grow to feel for each other cannot be denied. Are they willing to put their hearts on the line and break down each other's walls. The journey they embark on is passionate, feiry, loving, romantic full of drama, hot passionate sex. But can they make it to their HEA ? Not without their ups and very low downs. Get the tissues box ready as you'll need them. If you love sexy, dominant, controlling, sensual alpha males that adore the women they love and would do anything for then you will also fall in love with Gabe Austin. He's my new book boyfriend. Once you have finished this series you will not forget it and like me you will want to re read and not let go.

I could not put these books down! While the storyline is maybe one that has been done over and over again (innocent virgin meets rich, experienced, dominant male and has her sexual awakening), I found these books fresh and addictive. I both laughed out loud and teared up throughout the series. The dialog between Mia and Lexi was very well done, I loved their relationship. Gabe and Mia's love story was passionate and heart wrenching. The sex scenes were steamy, extremely well written. Some of the things I particularly loved about this series - the books are looooong and include many small details, which means you really got to sink into their world. I loved how the first few books only span a couple of weeks/months - I felt like I was living daily life with the characters and got to know them intimately. I appreciated how a lot of the drama took several books to unfold - it felt less rushed and left me wondering how it was all going to play out. It had some good/surprising twists, and didn't always take advantage of a predictable route. I also felt it didn't introduce unnecessary drama - obviously the characters have to go through major events, but there were times where I thought it would go too far and thankfully it didn't. I enjoyed the books immensely and was sad to finish them, although I thought it all wrapped up well. I'll miss these characters and their world!

This series, one word..... WOW!!!! (Speechless)

10 stars for this books.....:)

description

And Gabe Austin seriously, this guy 100% hotness, gorgeous, kind, smart all in one package... Where I can find this guy? I want to have a boyfriend like him.

I love all the 6 books of this series. When you read it, you will not put it down (literally). This book is Amazing and Brilliant... I'm so happy that I read this series. I'm a big fan of C.J Fallowfield's books. They are all great.

This series made me cry a lot, laugh a lot and it also touch my heart. Mia and Gabe's story will teach us how to fall in love, how to take risks. Because at the end of the day all of the things that we experienced even if it's bad will guide us to the person who will love us unconditionally.

And Im so happy that their story is made up of 6 books plus 1 book for the prequel, because for me they deserve to have that kind of numbers of books and actually I'm still want to have another story for Gabe and Mia after their twins are born. I want the story of their family. I really love all the characters in this book.

And this books or series will definitely have a special place in my Book-of-Fame and in my heart.

***Review given on behalf of obsessed by books ***
I read this individually and one word I use is phenomenal. This whole series is awesome I read it in one day back to back. Mia and Lexi are best friends experiencing college life. Mia is wanting to live life and lexi is wanting her to live life also so they made a pact Lexi will calm her sexual excapadea down and Mia will lose her virginity. Well all is good til Gabe he's sweet. sexy and becomes a really good friend to Mia. we see them grow as friends and even though there is an attraction they both are denying it. They both have a past and even though the demons the fight are different the emotional damage is the same. Gabe becomes a rock for Mia and Mia becomes home for Gabe. Their friendship grows into an amazing love story with ups and downs, twist and turns. I was on an emotional roller-coaster but was also on a love ride as well. To see these two characters grow and develop a bond of trust and love was amazing. I felt every word of every page and the supporting characters played just as a important role as Mia and Gabe. This was truly a great story of friendship, trust, growth and first loves being forever loves. I would definitely recommend this series.

5 stars is just not enough for this series of books, they had me showing every emotion, i laughed with them, cried with them, wanted to smack them at times. Gabe and Mia were the perfect couple, that had their ups and downs, he was dominant and possessive which made the stubborn and feisty Mia rebel, but their sex life always brought them back together.

Doug and Lexi also play a great part in this book, with Doug being Gabes best friend and Lexi being Mia's, Doug being steady and reliable, while Lexi a loose cannon that had lots of issues with her past.

Both Mia and Gabe were broken for different reasons and it took a lot of patience and a Councillor to finally get them to the place they needed to be, along with hot erotic sex whenever, wherever they could get it.

this is an erotic love story that makes you feel that you are part of the book not just the reader, arm yourself with a big box of tissues as you will need them, at times i had to put it down as i couldn't read through the tears.

I have read lots of books by lots of authors but nothing has tugged on my heartstrings like this series did, i just didnt want it to end, well done CJ, you had me in tears again (sign of a great book) xx

It's always bitter sweet to come to an ending of a series. I was first introduced to this series by way of an ARC and then I was hooked. I have to admit, I'm not the biggest fan of love-at-first-sight romances but this became much more. From the sass of Mia's best friend Lexi to the twists and cliffy of the fifth book, this series got better with each book. Yes, there are 6 books to the series but they are full-length novels...Yes, there is ALOT of sex, especially in the 4th book, but I will say this author definitely does it right! In my eyes, I couldn't see these characters as 19/20. That was something easy for me to overlook though. I enjoyed learning more about British verbiage/slang :) and I appreciate this author getting the medical jargon down correctly (yes, I am an ob/gyn sonographer). I'm sad to leave these characters but it was a great ride! I really enjoyed this series! (less)

This series was recommended to me by Amazon, and it's a series that I fell in love with right from the start.

It's the wonderful journey of true friendships, young love, told at it's very best. Gabe & Mia are two people that both share doubts of being in a relationship due to their pasts. Neither one of them are on the lookout for anything serious, but all that changes the moment they hookup.

We watch the characters grow and develop through the roller-coaster of a ride that The Austin series takes you on. It's pact full of hot sex, suspense and twists that you never see coming. You will laugh and cry on the emotional journey you go on with these characters, loving every second of it. Highly entertaining that will keep you gripped for hours.

All I can say is climb on board, fasten your seatbelts and welcome to the ride of your life with Gabe & Mia.

I cannot say enough about this series!!! I fell in love with it from the first page and could not get enough of Mia and Gabe. This series is HOT, STEAMY, and SEXY!! I could also use those words to describe Gave Austin! These two will overcome a lot and it's an emotional roller coaster that is a hell of a ride along the way. Each book will captivate you from the first page and leaving you wanting more until the very end. Everyone of the these books, I could not put down. You will also love the best friends that add so much to the story.

If you are looking for a HOT and Steamy read, this is the series for you. Gabe Austin will defiantly make you melt.

I really enjoyed reading this series. Yes, there are parts that's a bit dragging and made my eyes roll which made me say "Oh seriously Gabe?!" but I really loved and enjoyed reading all 7books. I sooo love all the characters they really grown on me except bloody Sarah, I'm on Dough-Sarah team from the start and was quite frustrated and devastated when I thought there was no second chance for these two. My heart literally broke when Dough choose bloody Sarah after the stockroom confrontation. And as possesive and crazy Gabe is you cannot not fall in love with his character. Seriously this series is a great read!!! Much thanks to the one who recommend this series to me and so much love to the author for this ammaaaaazing series!!

I love this series!

C.J. Fallowfield weaves this beautiful love story with angst, suspense, mystery, humour, hot steamy sex scenes and lots of love. I found myself on the edge of my seat several times. I lived an emotional roller coaster through all six books often finding myself crying so hard I couldn't see the word on the page and then laughing so hard I had to run to the bathroom.
I love Gabe, Mia and Lexi and found myself feeling like they were all my friends. At times I wanted to shake all three of them. Then when I finished the last book I didn't want to the story to end because by that time they were my friends.

These characters will forever live in my heart.

A heart warming turned steamy story. Mia and Lexi are best friends who are always there for each other. Sometimes in life you are faced with loss which results in you putting your walls up and not wanting to let anyone near your hear to protect it. That's Mia, until she meets Gabe Austin. Their worlds collides and shatter those walls. Together they face instances that both thought they were not ready for but together they can get through it. An Instant attraction that leaves for a warm steamy story. GREAT set and a definite must read!

Anyone who doesn't enjoy this series needs to ask themselves what exactly there looking for. I for one thoroughly enjoyed this emotional teen rollercoaster, the storyline was varied enough to keep my interest at an all time high. there was heartbreak, humour, love and hate, all the human emotion one could want. Gabe and Mia the main characters certainly keep the highs and lows flowing throughout the series.

Destined Review: This is the prequel of the Austin Series. We get the backstory of Gabe and what happened in his past. Then he sees the girl of his dreams. It's a short read. I don't like how it's set up.

New Leaves, No Strings Review: I read the synopsis and was interested. Well I must say I'm not thrilled. Gabe is too pushy and wants what he wants and he doesn't give up. Mia is way to wishy washy and gave in to Gabe way to easy. I hate the way this book is set up there is no chapter numbers, just days of the weeks. There is no table of contents so you can see when day ends. I like to know how long a chapter is so I know when I can stop. Things are just too long and the same thing is said over and over. YUCK!!!

Baggage & Buttons Review: In my opinion this series is just not worth the time and effort. The same thing is said over and over, I love you, you are gorgeous etc. Mia has issues she won't address. (stupid) Gabe has issues he doesn't think is a problem. (eyeroll) There is no chapter numbers, the only thing in table of contents is each book. (ugh) The way the book is set up is days of the week, but they never seem to end. Too much repetition, and blathering on and on. I find the Austin Series too long and boring.

Forever & an Engine Review: The only reason I'm reading the rest of the series is I'm stubborn and I finish what I start. I hate the way this book is set up, there is no chapter numbers and no length to the chapter. They just ramble on and on. It's like the ocean there is no end to it. I can't stand Gabe and his attitude. I can almost tolerate Mia but she is a little annoying. The same thing is said over and over I love you, I'm cross with you, I love your body. Come on there is more to life. Gabe gets upset with what Mia wears, who she is with and when she goes out. Come on already!!! In my opinion Mia needs to walk away he is ridiculous. In my opinion this series is boring.

The Honeymoon Period Review: Talk about insecurities Gabe is beyond crazy and Mia is just as crazy. In my opinion Mia needs to drop his behind. I don't find anything likable about these characters. I find this series boring and full of nonsense. The same thing happens over and over. Gabe and Mia get made at each other, they have sex to afford everything, then they are okay, then wash, rinse and repeat. I can't stand these characters.

Love & Loss Review: Same nonsense just a different book title. Fight, disobey, have crazy sex to make up. Gabe and Mia say the same thing over and over and never listen to each other. I was very bored.

Infinite Love Review: In my opinion the best part of this series is the epilogue. I was never so happy for an end to a series. I found it boring and author wrote too much rambling nonsense.

I couldn't stand this series. I hated the setup, the chapters were not numbered, the chapters were never ending, the whole boxed set was a mess. I couldn't stand Gabe. I could tolerate Mia a little, I could at least see a little growth. In my opinion this series is boring and a lot of repetition and not worth it.
