After surviving the devastating car crash that killed her family, Alex is left with shattered memories and a life she barely recognizes. With the help of her best friends, Harper and Madison, she tries to rebuild her life despite the blackouts, the strange bruises, and the unshakable feeling that something is deeply wrong. When anonymous texts begin to arrive and fragments of forgotten nights surface, Alex starts to question her friends, her past, and the parts of herself she can’t remember. As a string of gruesome murders grips the city, she’s drawn into a terrifying puzzle—one that suggests the truth may be far closer, and far more personal, than she ever imagined. "Someone Like Her" is a chilling psychological thriller about trauma, identity, and the secrets we keep—even from ourselves.
super sad how it ended lmao but it was so good! extremely interesting concept and it was written extremely well. this isn't a topic that is usually written well and Hayleigh managed to write it well!
i fell out of reading for the last few years and i kept seeing a few of my friends talking about this book and my interest was definitely peaked. once i started, i definitely couldn’t put it down! i really enjoyed how descriptive everything was and how detailed everything was! i’m already wanting to read it again! i have got to say, my favorite part was when her friends were finally realizing what was going on and one of them followed her. had me on the edge of my seat!! 11/10!!

This is the BEST psychological thriller I have ever read. My head was on a swivel every time I thought I knew what was happening it changed again. It was so good that it had me on my toes in the real world for weeks after reading it. The character development was perfect and I felt like I got to know them. 10/10 would re-read and recommend to anyone who needs a book they can’t put down.
I’m so sorry but it’s not a book for me. In my opinion, it really loses the thriller/suspense feel when you see/read when it happens. It started off as a dissociative identity disorder/Split remake and just wasn’t into it. I really didn’t enjoy the friendship between the main character and her two bffs. None of them knew how to communicate to each other but get told constantly how much they love/care about each other, and their chapters just felt long and unnecessary. I did really enjoy how descriptive it was, it definitely puts you in the story and helps you visualize everything and how it’s going! Keep up the good work Hayleigh!! I look forward to your second book!!

10/10 recommend. The constant twists and turns really kept my attention throughout the entire book. There were so many times I yelled out “NO WAY” during this book. Very well written and very descriptive. The ending caught me by surprise. If you like psychological thrillers this is definitely for you!!
What an amazing book! Had me sitting on the edge of my seat the whole ride. Constantly changing who I thought was what and who did what! Simply amazing! And the Ending…. WHEW! I need part 2 RIGHT NOW
Figured out the book in the first couple of chapters. Figured out the ending as well. Found the book to repeat the same content over and over just to fill up space. Interesting read but not great
