I actually read through the book a couple times- and I’m sure I’ll go back to it again. I thought the book had great advice for living in the moment, and the bad things that can happen if we go too far back or forward. It motivates you to be the person you want to be right now- not tomorrow.

Nice summary of mindfulness. Chapters each with a short daily lesson. Very good introduction for someone who is not familiar with mindfulness, and a good review for those who are.
The book provides techniques to release anxiety, and stress and to live in the present. Nice introduction for those who never explored mindfulness before. Very practical, not much context about Buddism.
This was a fun fast read with some practical tips on staying mindful and developing daily mindfulness rituals in anything you do - Barrie Davenport has authored or co-authored a number of books and I particularly liked this one with it's helpful practical advice
I appreciate how quick of a read this book was and how practical and realistic the author makes mindfulness seem. He writes about it not as a flowery, over-the-top concept that only the super spiritual can apply but rather something simple any and everybody can incorporate into their life at any aspect of their life: quiet time, work, exercise, etc. I recommend this for anyone who's heard of mindfulness or meditation and feels like it's not for them or thinks it's too difficult because this book will prove otherwise. I also recommend it for those who'd like to get more peace and presence into their lives but they don't know where to start. I found this book very helpful!
I used this book to help me wind down after a long day. I was having trouble shutting my brain off at night so I could get a good night's sleep. Reading this book at night helped reinforce stress reducing techniques such as regulating breathing and positive thought channeling. I would recommend this book to those having similar problems.

I liked how it made things easy to understand. And as part of reading this book I started mediatating. . today was day 3 by day 7 I will start introducing yoga to my routine.
