The lost treasure by I.T. Lucas book 98

The lost treasure gives us a perspective from the inside of enemy territory. But this story starts with a shaman living at Mt Ararat. And survived a terrible volcanic eruption that killed many of the people that he felt responsible for. Feeling deep loss and grief for these people, he decides to go to Russia and by unfortunate circumstances is captured by a Russian Mobster/arms dealer who sells him off to Navuh.
Now he is stuck on an Island where his only escape would be in a body bag. Keeping Navuh satisfied with his shaman abilities without giving away too much is a balancing act that is a constant anxiety that is always on his mind. But, Elias has no idea that his future is about to change. While tending his little herb garden, he hears beautiful voices and realizes that he has been there too long, it is too late to make it out, he can only hide his face so that he doesn’t see.
I loved this book, reading about Elias living in the harem and becoming a part of it, and how he built relationships with the other characters. I especially look forward to learning about how his love with Tamara grows.

Interesting Changes

With another immortal stuck on the island under Navad, things have changed significantly. Firstly, we're not even sure where this immortal comes from. It is hinted that he's from another world, but never fully explained as to his whole origin story. Of course, he falls in love with one of the forbidden women and their trapped on this island with this sociopath who controls everything.. but mother earth is starting to fight back and has caused some damage on the island, forcing his wife in his harem to move out of the underground tower while the damage is assessed. In the meantime, back in the village plans of being made to face the ultimate battle with the super soldiers that is being created.

Books 97 and 98 were more vibrant than book 96. Book 96 was too sugary with not much story develpment. Book 97 was better and I just finished book 98, Dark Shaman: The Lost Treasure. I enjoyed the story development with focus on Navuh, Areana, Tamira and introducing Elias. As always I get frustrated that the story stops like a soap opera particularly at Page 380 on my Kindle which is 89%. I prefer books that are 500 pages but make the exception for this series as I am slightly addicted to it. I really would like the story development to go a little farther and end at a 100% so I don't feel "cheated" of an incomplete story. For example, perhaps we can see how Elias (Eluheed) gets off the island, or what type of immortal he is, or what are his treasures, what are Navuh's treasures, does Elias or Tony put obstacles in the work that Zhao is performing and so on. You get the idea. I know this series is a written (not televised) soap opera but need just a little more meat. Waiting for book 99 .............

The book starts with a new character, Eluheed, who is a shaman who is immortal. He was entrusted with a treasure but we don’t know what it is, only that a natural disaster hid it under a volcano and he has spent centuries trying to get to it back. Unfortunately he got the attention of Navuh, the leader of the evil immortals. Sent to the harem, where all of Navuh’s most valuable possessions reside, Eluheed has to pretend he’s human while also looking for a way to escape. Eluheed show the resilience, compassion, and empathy towards the humans and during a time of crisis, the most guarded and hidden immortals are learning what little value those in power show for everyone else.

While this happens on the island, Annani’s clan induce a new immortal who’s transformation has gotten attention and the mystery of finding Khiann continues. Annani has spent 5,000 years thinking Khiann was dead and losing someone you love for that long is difficult. Her impatience is running thin.

I liked this book a lot. The books have mostly focused on Annani’s clan and we didn’t have much information about the inner workings of the island. I like that we get to see the other side now. Will we be seeing the islands demise soon?

I.T. Lucas remains one of my favorite PR authors, and Charles Lawrence’s narration continues to elevate this world. That’s why these last two books in the trilogy have been a mixed experience. I’d been eagerly awaiting a full-hearted Khiann–Annani reunion, but what we get flickers in and out without the epic punch that defined the first half of the series. The detours to Navuh’s island are fun, yet the recent installments feel shorter, with fewer side stories and less time to let characters breathe. Plot pivots arrive quickly and sometimes wrap without feeling fully earned.

I’m also puzzled by the series labeling—the “100 of 101” cue I usually see on Amazon isn’t there—and her new release, teased for January, looks like an Eluheed-world spinoff. I’m open to it, but it adds to the sense that we’re racing to a milestone rather than building toward a climax in the COTG series.

Even with my disappointment, I’m still here because Lucas’s universe, and Charles Lawrence’s voice, and range keep me invested. I just miss the depth, patience, and sweeping emotion that first hooked me—and I hope the 100th book delivers some of that old magic.

⚠️ Possible conspiracy and spoilers ⚠️

Wow! This book was such a revelation! Thoroughly enjoyed romance between Our main characters. Happy for Tim as well! May he find his true love mate in Hilde.
The chapters were focused on the underground pyramid at the Doomer island where Navuh’s concubines resided and almost at the end of the book the pyramid is flooded and people are evacuated… but what about those treasure chests? It was mentioned that they look as if they carry a person!!!What if… what if… all this time Navuh has Khiann under his possession.. he was satisfied that the chests were removed from the flood. Could be… you never know 🤷‍♀️. And we are introduced into a new world of shamans . Can’t wait to dive into that. Been reading this series since long and I’m yet to lose interest.

New People, New Drama

I don't think we have ever had such a deep look into Navuh's island. I have so many questions...

First, who...or what...is Eluheed? Wouldn't Navuh have been able to "sense" him if he were just another immortal? And what...or who...is his treasure that's been buried under an exploded mountain for a thousand years?

What did Navuh have buried under the harem? Is it important to the saga, or just a means to show his callousness?

What role is Tim going to play? I liked getting a closer look at this guy that no one likes.

It didn't feel like this book advanced the overall story of the series, and I was a little confused in the beginning with new characters coming out of nowhere, but this was a pretty good read. I can't wait to see how it all comes together.

Man oh man, book 98 was one of thè best I have read in a looong time in this series!! It was busy but I loved everything about it!!!

I celebrated with the old characters. I was at the edge of my seat with the new characters!

Come through Eluheed!!!!!

⚡️That rescue mission, I was in tears!

⚡️"This wasn't sex—it was communion, a sharing of essence that transcended the physical."

🤯 Does Navah have Khiann?
or
🤔is he among Eluheed's treasures?
💁🏾‍♀️Navuh's Harem and ladies are going to be the missing link for the Clan

@I.T Lucas we already knew Navah was the villain. B-98 only solidified everyone's question, "Why is Areana with him"?? Sis, gives herself too much credit if she thinks she is single handedly keeping that man from madness.

The shaman ends up being sold to Navuh by a Russian mobster. Now he is on the island with no hope of escape. He is put in the harem so that no one can get to him and at first, he is not allowed to interact with the ladies. But through Areana he ends up being able to join them. He keeps trying to figure out how to escape from this remote heavily guarded island, because he is not from this world and has a mission that he was sent to do. But everything becomes more complicated when he develops feelings for one of the ladies. Then an unexpected catastrophe happens. Will this event be what can help him to get free? I cannot wait to find out what happens next.

HUGE SWERVE!!!!

OK - as much as I love each installment of this series, this one took a curve I was not expecting at all. We know about the Gods, Demi-Gods, Immortals - both those born on Earth or from the home planet, but now a new guy is introduced with somewhat mysterious origins!
Also *huge squeal* we are finally seeing inside the Evil Lair of Lord Navuh!! The women in the harem who are, essentially, prisoners, are introduced. Of course with the aforementioned new guy on scene, some sparks are flying between him and Tamira of the harem.
So much happens in this book - you’re definitely going to love it!

Ok This Time

I've been a longtime reader of I. T. Lucas and usually enjoy every book. However, this one included a character I dislike: Tim. Tim's inclusion was an unpleasant surprise, especially him romancing Hildegard. I adore her, because she's straightforward, strong, and caring. She deserves so much better and I don't tolerate Tim-like people in real life, so I skipped every chapter with him in it.

Otherwise, I'm going to continue this serie, because I'm curious to find out more about Tamira and Eluheed. This story was a decent escape to revisit with favorite characters and root for the main ones as they get their happily ever after.

So who is this new imortal Eluheed and where is he from?

Eluheed is a very kind sole who finds himself in the clutches of Navuh. He is very intuitive with a mission he must keep secret from Navuh. What he wasn't expecting was to fall for some in Navuh's harum. How will he continue his mission and be with the one he loves is what he is trying to figure out. Looks like there will be changes on the island. Let's hope for the best.

There is also a return dormant who starts his transition. Can't wait to see how that turns out.

Amazing storytelling

Book 98 in this series introduces surprising new characters and a storyline on the Doomer's island. No spoilers, but this shaman has secrets unlike any we have seen before. Also, an unlikely secondary character from some previous books is discovered as a dormant. Can't wait to see where his story goes. As the story gets closer to (hopefully) finding Khiann, the suspense grows for him and everyone that will be affected by his discovery. I. T. Lucas is a great storyteller and each book has plenty of excitement and leaves you wanting more.

This is one of my absolute favorite series and you need to start at book 1 Dark stranger.

If you’re caught up or need to catch up do so immediately! The series might have stagnated for a short period, while still being enjoyable, but that is not the case anymore.

There is so much coming in this world and you’re going to want to be first in line. Not only are we getting closer to possibly finding Kihann, in this book we see inside the harem and are finding an entirely different breed of immortal. Believe me, this is an adventure you don’t want to miss out on.

Finally getting to know Navah's world.

From the first book in this series to this one we have seen N's world maybe 4 times. Here we get to really see it through Elias' eyes. He is a shaman who was caught by the Russians and sold to N because he said he can see the future. Meanwhile, Amanda's daughter has a first birthday party and she shows her generous and giving nature as opposed to her mother. Tim the artist who can draw anyone from their description is on his way to becoming an immortal. Can't wait for the next book.

Brilliant Series

Dark Shaman: The Lost Treasure (Children Of The Gods) by I T Lucas. In the immortals village Tim the artist is becoming an immortal. Meanwhile Shaman Eluheed has been brought to Navuh’s island to use his gift of seeing the future for Navuh who is only interested in who might be plotting against him. During the monsoon, which is heavier than usual, the quarters of Areanna and concubines is flooded and everyone has to be evacuated.

Yessss 😍😲🥹🥰
Finally!!!! I've been dying to know more of Navuh's Island and his famous concubines. This is awesome. Can't wait to see what's next. Will Tamira and Elias aka Eluheed end up together? How? When? And if so, what type of immortal is he 'cause I don't think he's anything like the clan immortals. So where is he from? Things are looking impossible right now but Chaos is coming to the Island for sure!

More and more threads coming together

This series has captivated from the beginning and is not losing steam yet! Threads coming together in a tapestry to remind the spirit we are but one small part in a picture larger than we can imagine!

Romance wrapped in a rapidly changing world of chaos. Love the characters, the romance, the bigger story! I complete fantasy world within the natural world. Can't believe I have 3 more days to wait for the next book!

Elias & the Concubine part1, Bk98

I didn't know how this storyline was gonna workout because the Dark Shaman wasn't someone we'd come across.
But then as always it all works out perfectly.

As Elias is sold out by The Russian to Lord Navah he becomes a keypart fingers xd a keypart in bringing the end to Lord Navah as he shows his true colours to even he's true love. Possessions over people.

Slow burn

Ok so I was pretty bored with the first half of this book. Then the pace picked up. Sometimes I think this is a series with different people writing the chapters because the transitions are weird...like with Tim. I really hope books 99 and 100 are something spectacular and not just science and philosophical dinner scenes.

New Direction

Each time I think nothing new can happen I get a shock that I never expected. New characters better love stories. BlankS get filled in that I did it even have questions about. This is a very rewarding series to get involved in reading. Can't wait to see this resolution.

As ever , this book is so thrilling , captivating, and suspenseful. I just can’t get enough of these books. When I first started reading them, there were 86 books out. I read them all in less than two months. I just couldn’t stop. Now that I have to wait for each new release I tend to go slower so I can savor every minute of each book. I just couldn’t love this series more!!!!

It was refreshing to read one of I. T. Lucas' books that has a little more substance to it rather than the typical antagonist, oh never mind you're handsome, falling in bed, falling in love recipe that so many of her books have. Whoever the ghost writer was for this one needs to write their own series (just my opinion).

Eluheed is refreshing!

So glad to meet Eluheed/Elias! He’s a fresh face and something different altogether! I can’t wait to unravel the mystery of him and his species, his background and how he will escape the harem! On to book 99!

Very good

I really enjoyed this book. It has mystery and intrigue. Plus we get to see another aspect of the series. Life on the doomer’s island. We only had a touch of it in Carol’s story. I can’t wait to see what happens with Elias. I suspect that he is from another planet with immortals.

Action packed story line

I love the series. I like this trilogy. Lots of action, lots of characters to follow. Interesting look into life on the island. As the series is p progressing, I miss some of the heat of the earlier couples. Missed opportunity to read more about Navuh and Areana's love life.

One of the best of the series

Eluheed/Elias is a breath of fresh air, with an extremely mysterious backstory. The shaman and his gift of second sight comes to the Doomers island into Navuh's very lair. In a vision, he sees betrayal and catastrophe.

I can't wait to read the next part of his story.
