This was a lovely read, the kind that warms the heart and comfort the soul. Anne's bubbly personality as a young girl was wonderfully overwhelming. Her ever growing imagination. Marilla's growing fondness of Anne. Then as the story went on, to read Anne's growing into a young woman and see how her imagination slowed gradually into her quiet little world instead of sharing it with the world.

I feel grateful that I had the chance to read this story.
