Bah, humbug. Nick Kringle is having a rotten Christmas. A huge disappointment to his chilly, holiday-stomping father, Jack Frost, Nick’s punishment for his refusal to take on the family business is exile to the human world, no magic allowed. Luckily, his North Pole relatives take pity on him, letting him run Santa’s big city candy factory and store. But Nick never counted on having to deal with customers, elves, or Santa’s nitpicky Candy Manager, the lovely but tightly wound Phoebe Winters. He’s never had a sweet tooth before, but everything about her has his mouth watering for a taste, despite the fact that they come from different worlds.
Phoebe Winters is determined to be the best Candy Manager that Santa has ever had, even though it means controlling her magical sugar allergy and her impossible attraction to Nick Kringle. Santa’s nephew has no right to be so hot, especially when he seems to be as coldhearted as his chilly father. But when a dangerous saboteur puts Santa's magical candy supply in jeopardy right before the holiday, Phoebe and Nick must work together to repair the damage and save Christmas. Can Phoebe melt the icy shell around Nick’s heart? Or will the cold sweep away any chance of holiday-ever-after?
Nick, middle son of Jack Frost, told him to stick world domination where the sun don't shine and promptly got stripped of his magic and thrown out of Frost Castle. After a miserable time living on the streets of New York he managed to find his way to his mother's family, the Kringles, at the North Pole. He's even taken the Kringle name. Santa even gave him a managerial position at the North Pole Candyworks. But, something is wrong at the factory, there are strange 'accidents', and Santa has sent in a supervisor to see what's up. That supervisor is Phoebe Winters, a half elf with a strange eating disorder. While sugar is a staple for every other elf, it makes her horny. A candy factory is the very last place she wants to be. And the fact that she finds Nick attractive is also not helping. It's the same for Nick. They both want to be naughty, very naughty indeed. Ooooh, there's a lot of sugar in the air. It's gets hot and steamy very quickly but, due to her lack of inhibitions when exposed to the sweet stuff, Nick refuses to comply with her demands - he'll have to wait until she is compos mentis. It doesn't take long for a night of unbridled passion and Phoebe experiences the elf “walk of shame”. It's erotica time: "Phoebe pulled back to admire his now glistening length, and then scooted forward to blow every circuit Nick had by settling his heavy cock between her luscious breasts." All that remains is to solve the problems in the factory and head for HEA. And that's this story of Christmas. It's nice, it's sweet, but the sex gets in the way. 2 Stars.
