The Horsemen are back—and Hell just became their playground. From Lust’s sand-storm boudoirs, where leather collars and whispered lies can topple kingdoms, to Gluttony that is less a feast and more a fight to stay hungry for freedom. Each circle of Hell strips their secrets bare and demands a steamy price to maintain loyalty between each Horsemen and their human equivalent. Every circle is accompanied by a sin that dredges up the past and tests their limits. Yet even as the inferno claws at their sanity, unlikely allies emerge—a sly Lust-imp, a flamboyant Grim Reaper, and an imprisoned river. The moment the Horsemen’s blood unshackles the Devil; Heaven itself readies its wrath. Hell’s gates slam shut, the stakes ignite, and desire becomes their sharpest weapon in a war no mortal—or immortal—has dared to fight. Hearts will burn, chains will break, and sins will be seduced. Saddle up, Señor Sparkles. The road through Hell is paved with fire, lust, and an apocalypse you’ll beg to ride. Just remember your safe word.
Author of paranormal romance that trends toward the dark, Charlotte likes tackling hard topics but also the absurd. She has always day dreamed and made up stories in her head, now she just writes them.
She describes herself as a closet eccentric, fooling people into thinking she is normal until she writes. An old soul with a coffee addiction you can find her curled up with a good book, spending time with her family or off on an adventure.
So come step into the world of Chaos, where normal is the abnormality.
O. M. G!!!! Vol 2 came out the gates SWINGING!!!! If you thought there was Choas in Vol. 1 it was nothing compared to this!! I am still reeling!! It was a little crazier than 1 but the plot and storyline keep you interested!! DEFINITELY MIND THE TW because there are some HEAVY moments no punches pulled here! We get to see our FAVE horsemen navigate their way through the circles of h3ll and what a WILD ride. We get our comic relief from Ethan as always! Tristan is still just his prickly self and Caden’s well….Caden is still his amazingly cool and collected self…MOSTLY….😈 but just WOW and that ending I did NOT seem coming….cant wait for more. If you enjoyed Vol. 1 definitely continue on for this journey. AGAIN!!! MIND THE TW CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!
Second book and definitely worth the wait. I could not put this book down. I loved the multiple POV of each Horseman. The book definitely is a trigger warning book. I personally have always been fascinated with the seven deadly sins and these circles of hell, and this book feeds into that fascination. The struggles that each one has to go through in each level of hell is heartbreaking, gut-wrenching, and thrilling. I loved how each character has their own demons to wrestle in each level and yet they are all connected. There are parts of the first book that definitely come back and have a very strong significance and I love that. The book does not end in a cliffhanger, but definitely creates more questions and has me dying to dive into the third book. There is some spice in this book but it's more of an adventure that The Horseman and their human counterparts go on. The "spice" that is in the book is definitely a check your triggers first situation, it's is Lust after all.
I swear it's like Char had her own little angel sitting on her shoulder helping her write this sequel out. I can't believe the attention to detail that went into each level of Hell for this book. Every demon is well researched for it's circle, every circle has such perfect challenges for its sins. And each challenge creates amazing character development for the story. I can't wait to see what happens in book 3.
Wow - There are no words that can express how much I absolutely love this series and vol 2!
The detail that Charlotte has gone to make sure characters and backgrounds connect is unmatched! Her research is on point and extremely detailed (especially regarding Hell and specific demons)
The humor, imagery and love shared throughout vol 2 is just something you don’t see in books today! 👏🏻👏🏻
Fantastic book, I loved the character development and how it wasn’t the same old story of the horsemen and their usual stories but turned it on its head. FMC was a complete badass and the MMCs were exactly what I wanted. Charlotte your writing is wonderful and I can’t wait to see where the next book goes
I loved this story. Some good spice but definitely more plot. Now I want more! While not necessarily a cliff hanger, definitely left open for more story to follow.
Absolutely perfection. Great story with a unique take on lore. Picks right up where Vol. 1 left off. All the charm from Vol. 1 still remains, even with the darker tone, and at the same time morphs to meet each situation the characters face.
holy crap. We pick up where book one left off, with our FMC Amara and what she’s going to do. How will our MMC’s, Ethan, Caden, and Tristan, save Amara? Our group gets put through the wringer. There are tests, trials, tribulations, and the road through Hell leaves them with more questions than they expected. I absolutely love this book. Charlottes writing is so strong and she’s found the heart of these characters and you can see that as the story goes on. I absolutely love seeing the bond between human and demon in each of the horsemen and how they’re so different yet oh so similar. It’s really cool seeing the parallels they have. I could go on and on about this book, it is an absolute MUST READ book and I can’t wait to see what else is in store.
People saying that the second book is never as good as the first? They clearly haven't read this one! This is a fantastic journey through hell and a very good continuation of the story.
We find out a lot about the characters and hell itself but in no way was this boring. Charlotte has a way with words and she creates images beyond any other. It was gross, grotesk, funny and really captivating. I'm writing this review months after I've read the book because it left me this speechless. Usually I forget a book after finishing, but this one is still freshly on my mind!
The level of spice is surprisingly low, considering her other books, but I didn't miss it one minute because I was highly addicted to the story. I would give her 10 stars if possible... Can't wait for book 3!
