DNF at 30%. The writing is so stilted and twee that I couldn't take it any more. And the poor guy who is supposed to be a billionaire?

I got out a pair of jeans that were like brand new because I rarely got out of my suit long enough to wear them. I wore a long-sleeved t-shirt underneath a thick, gray sweater.

He sounds more like a girl.

As for the way Robyn humiliated him in the restaurant? Wow. Really classy girl (not) On their first 'date' as well. Grow up girl. Any real billionaire would have walked out on her right at that moment.

The formatting is poor, double spacing for paragraphs and no indents, making it difficult to read with comfort. On the basis of this story I will not be reading any more 'Billionaire' stories by this author.

Robyn be like:

This girl just does not get it. If I were Aaron, I would have gotten a restraining order against her. I don't even care that she was just trying to get him into the holiday spirit. Sneaking into his office, sending him emails every day, sending him a Christmas card, inviting him to dinner, inviting him to dinner again, etc. Holy crap, just give up, lady.

So you can get this book for free from Amazon. It doesn't end on a cliffhanger, but it's just kinda... over. Though you assume they'll probably go on another date or something. Anyway, the story continues in the next book, which is 88 pages and you can buy it for three bucks. ALL the reviews say it's not worth the money and readers are furious. There are continuity errors (apparently the author forgot where her characters grew up and changed their backstory from one book to the next) and a dreaded cliffhanger. I'm not bothering to read it.

This is a very PG story featuring a stalker and a Scrooge. Read at your own risk.

Beautiful sweet Christmas romance.

I do love a good Christmas romance in this one Robyn Hurst is a woman who just loves Christmas, she works for Winter Inc where the CEO Aaron Winters doesn't like Christmas at all, in fact every year he leaves Christmas behind and catches a flight to somewhere warm. This book is about what happens when a beautiful woman with a Santa obsession catches the eye of a man that avoids Santa at all costs.
This is a beautiful, clean Christmas romance and I'll admit when Robyn was explaining her love of Santa to Aaron I had tears rolling down my face. This book had dual POV's which I love it didn't however have an epilogue and the reason is it's to be continued, there's another book featuring Robyn and Aaron and their relationship which according to the end of the book is available now but I can't find it yet.

I really enjoyed this book. I liked how the story alternated between Aaron, and Robyn telling the story. It was told with two view points, but the story flowed together nicely. My eyes got a little misty when Robyn explained what Christmas meant to her. Aaron did not like Christmas. He gave to help other people, and threw a Christmas party for the people that worked for him, but he did that because thats what a big CEO'S did. His heart was not in it. If anyone spoke of Christmas he tuned them out. I loved Robyn's zest for life. Her love for Christmas rubbed off on everyone around her. She didn't know why Aaron hated Christmas, but she wanted him to see and experience the magic of Christmas. This was a really sweet story.

this book needs a revision to fix all the mistakes. i felt like a high schooler or even a middle school wrote this. i didn't like the story much, kind of reminds me of the movie: Christmas with the Kranks. Heroine pushing the Hero to like Christmas. the first 14 chapters were repeats of the same thing, was kind of annoying heroine and the hero is so flat character. but towards chapter 15 it improved a tiny bit. and this is just part 1 of ... i don't know how many in this series.. but i will not continue on if i have to pay for it.

Desiring a diversion from another more intense, but eloquent story that I was reading about the Holocaust, I selected The Billionaire’s First Christmas as a free Kindle book on Amazon. Although I would consider this novel to be in need of some editing to correct grammatical errors and sloppy phrasing, I did enjoy the Christmas sentiment and romance upon which this story was developed, in spite of it being excruciatingly contrived and unrealistic. Robyn Hurst is a woman that loves the Christmas season, and she is incessant upon sharing that Christmas spirit with her boss, billionaire and CEO tycoon, Aaron Winters. Robyn ‘pulls out all the stops’ to bring the Christmas spirit into Aaron’s life, including a snowball fight, a ride in a horse drawn carriage, caroling with a church group, sharing Christmas cookies, and even a kiss under the mistletoe with her boss. I was totally amazed at the many things in which one can partake, all in the spirit of Christmas! Had these characters all been real, I think that Aaron would have found Robyn just a little annoying in how she kept attempting to bring Christmas into his life. Nevertheless, The Billionaire’s First Christmas was an entertaining, quick read, and it invoked some of the generous spirit associated with Christmas, which brought a tear or two to my eyes and a genuine smile now and then.

I downloaded this for free last year over Christmas and never got round to reading it. When I found it again in the middle of the year, I didn't want to read about Christmas!

Tonight, I was full of cold, tucked up in bed, needing some cheering up and, seeing this book on my kindle, thought I could do with some festive cheer.

There is no denying this book has some wonderful lines that definitely made me smile and think about Christmas (I am thinking up my pressie list now). But, in the end the relationship development felt strange. Aaron was lovely... Too lovely. This might be the problem. And she was too perfect. It also felt wrong that he would have danced with her at the office party, considering how cold he was on other occasions.

I would really enjoy this book as a film, saying this, and know I have seen many with the same theme over the years that I have loved.

It feels mean to only give a 3, but a lot of times, there was a constant repetition of words and basic typos that made me think this story still needs some work. I mean this girl definitely knows her cookies, but the same description every time was a bit jarring.

Either way, I highly recommend this as a freebie read to get you into the sprit of Christmas. Oh, and for those wondering, this is a clean "vanilla" read suitable for teens.

Aaron Winters is a billionaire CEO and he doesn't do Christmas. He doesn't participate in any way and he has no intentions of starting now.

Robyn Loves Christmas. She has so much Christmas spirit it spews from her all the time. She meets Aaron in an unusual way and tries to show hi the spirit behind the season.

The book is told in each of their points of view and it is great that way. It gives you an insight to how they are thinking that normally wouldn't come across. A very lively and lovable book.

There is a lot of emotion in this story. I loved it. It truly gave me Christmas spirit!

A nice clean feel-good romance with lots of Christmas spirit. The writing is not great (example: "Then, I laid my wet clothes in a pile. Then I dried off and put on my dry ones. I used the blow dryer she’d left out on my hair." At one point I counted 13 sentences IN A ROW that started with the word "I.") But hey, I didn't go into this one expecting a literary masterpiece. I was looking for a quick fluffy holiday romance to read by the Christmas tree and that's exactly what this was.

It's okay. Typical - you know rich man and a normal woman. But the story is kinda odd... not that I don't like Christmas, it's just that, the story literally revolved around it. It was fast and light read tho, and cute couple. I would have been very disappointed and would end up rating this 2 stars if I didn't know that there's a sequel. Will still give a try. My first read for 2015! Yey!

Strangely written, more like diary entries going between Aaron and Robyn. I never became vested in either character as much as I enjoy.

This is an okay read. I was intrigued as to the reason why Aaron was so opposed to Christmas and that kept me reading until it was revealed at the very end of the story. Happy reading!

This the season...

I chose to read a Christmas theme book as it's December and I read it in spades. Aaron is the head of the company where Robyn works and he wins her in an auction. The proceeds are for charity and he tasks her with being an Elf for a day. She takes it all in good spirits as Christmas is her favorite time of the year. She then proceeds to show him the joys of the season. She was just a little too cheery for me and I wished it could have been toned down a little. Don't mean to be a Scrooge and it was a nice family friendly book. Although I am curious to see where their story goes in book 2.

Enter a Billionaire who has never actually celebrated Christmas (although he hosts parties and buys gifts for employees with assistance from his secretary) and then a lady who LOVES Christmas (almost too much). She does all that she can to convince him that Christmas is wonderful and, surprise, they magically fall in love.
Fun to read and imagine it, but she would have bugged me (and I like Christmas.)

He doesn't like Christmas for personal reasons, but he makes sure his employees do. She is new to the company and loves it. They have a employee auction which he bids on her. And she teaches him to love Christmas on her terms. He does for others but doesn't like the holiday. It was wonderful to read and look forward to reading more.

Okay Read

This was a fairly interesting story, but it had a few errors in it. I also noticed that the difference between sarcastic and facetious is not apparent to the author nor the editor.

This was a hard one to get through. Most would have called it a loss but I always try to finish books that I start... only 164 pages and it took me forever to finish it. And honestly, I had to skim through most of it.

Sort of an office romance that includes Christmas type activities which hold your interest. However the romance just scratches the surface, and the reason for this I guess is that only at the end, we are advised that there is a sequel that develops from that point.
