Rate this book
She cried 200 tears, and where they landed, her people grew...

A goddess was supposed to protect her people. Guide them. Answer their prayers.

Kennera had failed them.

For three thousand years, their mournful cries had twisted her heart, made her imprisonment unbearable. But she had a plan to save her Kind. Even if it meant her death at the hands of the Wolf God.

Who is Calle Jaye Brookes?

Calle Jaye is fun, playful, ironic, professional and sophisticated. She’s super-educated in the field of fiction and would spend most of her time walking around in “Book World” (or”eBook World”).

Does she have slight control freak tendencies? Yep. Why else would she chose to self-publish?

In her day job she gets to read romance novels. In her night job she gets to write them!

Her favorite color is bold purple. She likes rock like Kid Rock, Shinedown, and Nickelback. Add in a bit of Anastacia and Adelle, too.

She collects rocks. Watches crime dramas. Abhors Lifetime Movies and Titanic (especially Leo…) and refuses to read or write about sparkly teen vampires.

She’s married to a cop she strongly suspects is a vampire. They’ve made vampire babies, too.

They live in Indiana with their vampire relatives and their vampire dogs.

I received a copy of this book in place of an honest review.

When goddess Kennera showed her feelings for the wolf god Eiophon he did what he could to show his displeasure. They were trapped for three thousand years and couldn't see each other. Eiophon vowed that he would get back at Kennera for what she had done. All of Kennera's people are dying so she has feed them herself for years. She is slowly dying and knows she needs to stay away from Eiophon before he can get his punishment.

Imagine Eiophon's surprise when he finds out that she is his mate and that she is dying. He will do what he has to, to make sure she lives and has a life with him.

This story was different and that is what made it a great read. The author did a great job with her story and I never knew what was going to happen until the end. It made me wonder if there will be another book. The way it ended seemed like there would be more. I enjoyed this authors writing and can't wait to read more.

**I received this book for a honest review**
After 3000 years trapped in a palace Eiophon has only two goals, kill the one responsible it and find his mate. Kennera, trapped alongside him because of her mistakes, only once one thing her people to survive no matter the cost. Once released, Kennera tried to hide just long enough to get a message to her people. Eiophon follows but soon hears his mate and goes to find her. Eiophon is surprised it's Kennera and now only wants her to trust him enough to let him love her. However, Kennera is at deaths door. Can he safe her or be forced to live without her.
This is the ninth book of The Dardanos, Co. Series but can be read as a stand alone. It is a fast and pretty easy read. At first some of the names got confusing but wasn't bad. I enjoyed this book and do plan on starting at the beginning of the series so I can learn more about the Gods, Goddesses and all their people.

Gods and Goddesses really are out there. Eiophon has been imprisoned along with Kennera for three thousand years. Eiophon wnats nothing more than to destroy Kennera's people. Kennera has placed a curse on Eiophon people. Back and forth for all these years. Time for release. Eiophon , knows his mate is out there he can smell her he has only a short time frame to get her and make her his. Kennera has given all to her people last thing she will give them is her life. Eiophon is beyond surpised to learn that Kennera is his mate.
This was a nice easy read. Being ninth in series I was worried about missing pieces of storyline. The author makes sure to cover all the past history with these two, I never felt lost in the storyline!

I received this book free for my honest review for the wolf god and his mate.

In the beginning it wasn't easy to follow since the book was going back and forth between the wolf god and the goddess Kennera.

The wolf god has made it known he wants nothing to do with Kennera but she has feelings for him. His people have been cursed by the goddess Kennera and the wolf god wants do nothing more than to kill her people. So you have to understand his surprise when he finds that the one person he has told personally that he hates her and wants to kill her is actually his mate.

Kennera has sucluded herself in one half of the prison that she shares with the wolf god where she saves her energy to try and count down till the time that she can escape before the wolf god can get his hands on her to kill her.

This book should be read before reading The Wolf's Redemption to keep the chronological order. The Loupioux and Dardaptoan's have been at war for three millennium and this book explains why. We get to meet the deities. Kennara is ready to sacrifice her life to save her people and ensure their continuation. Eiophon has held his anger close to himself laying all the blame for their entrapment at Kennera's feet. He attitude takes an about face when he comes to realize that Kennera is his mate.

calle j brookes managed to write a compelling story filled with fears self loathing love and new beginnings in the wolf god and his mate. It was a little hard to get into at the beginning but just keep working at it. Trust me it gets better with little twists between the main characters. It was a lovable 2 hour read. Great for a rainy day afternoon

A continuing saga

More of the saga unfolds as the new characters evolve, with their stories told. Editing continues to be a problem, however. Still a decent story.
