Oh my goodness! The way this book had me on a choke hold. I couldn’t put it down and couldn’t quit thinking about it when I had to. This is a dark mafia romance with no spice but high tension and swoon and a super sweet redemption and healing theme. I LOVED the main characters and their dynamic. I loved how the forced proximity transitioned the enemies to lovers. The tension and challenge of that situation felt realistic. The danger and the tension kept me on the edge of my seat. The sweet redemption story here with healing had a faith element that was really well done. You also get a very lovable side character. You get a full range of emotions in this and I loved every single second!!

I was quizzical about Enzo’s Vow. I was questioning how a Dark Romance can be good and have no spice? But I was proved wrong for sure! Would I have liked the spice? Yes, but that is a personal preference for me. But the tension between the characters was so palpable I could literally feel it! And as a bonus, I now have an amazing recommendation for my friends who are looking for dark romance with little to no spice! Enzo is such an intriguing character in my opinion. He is so complex. Plus I am a huge sucker for dual POV! Thank you @author_marianne.willis for allowing me to be a part of this ARC review!

The plot: Enzo is a pussy being manipulated by his mom. She pressured him into marrying the daughter, Gemma, of her husband’s mistress. Then nothing really happens, other than Gemma becoming a damsel in distress because she gets assaulted by Enzo’s cousin and hum becoming the hero saving her.
Then Enzo’s mom blackmailed him into divorcing her and into marrying someone else.

Enzo isn’t really involved in the mafia side of the family but he does kill people. What does that make him?

Other than the assault, Gemma adds nothing to this book.

Enzo’s vow………what a ride! This book was my first book from this author and I was given the opportunity to get an advanced copy. This book was so hard to put down! Read it within the day. I have read many books before with out spice, I thought that I wouldn’t keep reading it but…..boy did I! This story was amazing on both of these characters. Who can resist a mafia man. Enzo was amazing. Great slow burn and enemies to lovers. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who loves mafia!

This was my first introduction to this writer! Loved Enzo and Gemma’s story. A clean mafia romance with all the drama. The ending felt a little bit rushed but not to the point that I was disappointed with the overall ending. The writing kept me engaged and enraged at certain points lol. Would definitely recommend this book for those who like mafia romances minus the spice, with good family complexities and a happy ending.

I loved that is closed door and still has mafia in it.✋🏼
My favourite character is Enzo (you'll understand why😏)
I found the story engaging and easy to follow.
I connect with both main characters. The FMC was very mature for her age. The MMC was the best. 🙂‍↕️
Enzo is my new book boyfriend🙈
