Maggie’s debut book was a delight to read. The strong female lead characters were full of spunk and wit and I felt connected to them and was cheering them on throughout the book. It was a suspenseful book and had me on edge at times. I found ‘Grey Sea Rising’ was a page turner especially towards the end and I had a hard time putting it down. I look forward to Maggie’s next book in this series!

Lovely poetic prose, and yes, also very cozy - except for the suspenseful dark part that made me want to pull the covers over my head and turn the light on. Havenport would be a delightful place to visit. The author really caught the vibe of a North Eastern town by the sea.

Moody and fun, captures the feel of a coastal town with fun characters and a mystery.

This was such a fun read. Moody and amusing. I’m glad to see it’s a series and we will get more time with these characters!
