*be positive is mentioned every other line to be followed up by be negative! think about eating 20 spoonfuls of sugar to keep you from craving sweets. Really? that works for someone? Then it's followed up by time your craving for 20 minutes, it will go away. If your focused on your craving enough to time it then its not going to go away. Because your thinking about it! Hello!!!
I did enjoy chapter 10, unconditional love for yourself. I think it's important to love yourself no matter what, which is easier said than done. There is nothing new, exciting or ground breaking in this book.

Helpful

Things I knew but had forgotten wrenching good reminders. love yourself, be patient and consistent.Losing is a journey for life not a quick fix.

Same old information

This is a rehash of everything you have heard your entire life. The word fast should be taken out of the title, because these commitments are the industry standard for losing a pound a week until you quit.

Good tips

This book had some good tips about weight management especially the methods to control hunger. It should be followed up with a recipe book.

This was a quick read with lots of good reminders. There wasn't any really new information or revelations. I skipped the links, so I can't speak to what those may have to offer.

Great information

Very thorough . Easy to read. Very encouraging in a difficult and challenging area for me. I have a better grasp on how to be successful at this now.

Overall I would say this book is ok. It doesn't have any earth shattering diet tips, or exercises that will make you lose a ton of weight over night, but it is full of a lot common sense things and and general tips on being healthy in general which will help you lose weight with time.

I think the biggest thing is it is a good reminder for people, I think most people have probably heard most if not all of this information before, but in general we don't tend to follow the advice even though we know what is best. We give in to convenience and things that taste good and aren't all that healthy. Americans especially live a very sedentary life style. I'm guilty of it.

This book is a good reminder of the tips and facts that we tend to overlook or just plain ignore. It is a quick read and a good refresher. So while I didn't feel like I learned anything new from this book, it was well written and had a motivating affect on me.

Motivational

I once again will be dieting. This is the first time I thought I would read some helpful books to be .more informed to make better decisions about what I can do to make sure that the weight stays off. After reading this book I have more knowledge for successful weight loss.

Good overview of dieting.

Overall this book reinforces what it takes to lose weight. Gimmick fast weight loss diets lead to more problems than you want. Instead of a "diet" following rules and "bad" foods I will stick to my ELMM and ELMA diet. Eat less move more and eat less move a lot.

Not anything new just a good refresher for basic weight loss. The title however is somewhat misleading considering it says lose weight fast and she emphasizes that you should lose weight at a slow steady pace and how much better it is for your body to do it that way.

Refresh restore and keep me going

Plateaus and back sliding after losing 43 of goal lost of 75 has me struggling. These tips will help me. I will refer to them to lose the remaining 32.lbs....

Don't bother

Nothing new to me. Good for someone who needs an introduction to anything one wants to do in their life not just dieting. Could be more helpful with the mechanics of food and your body

Very motivational

If you're like me and have a hard time sticking to certain changes, this is a great motivational book to keep you on track. I recommend reading it at any time you feel yourself slipping, it's a short book and will re-motivate you and keep you going!

Overview for beginners

Basic

Giving this read a 3. All information given was basic and common sense with traditional values. Would improve content by adding charts for BMI averages as well as weight.
