This is a rehash of everything you have heard your entire life. The word fast should be taken out of the title, because these commitments are the industry standard for losing a pound a week until you quit.
This was a quick read with lots of good reminders. There wasn't any really new information or revelations. I skipped the links, so I can't speak to what those may have to offer.
Overall I would say this book is ok. It doesn't have any earth shattering diet tips, or exercises that will make you lose a ton of weight over night, but it is full of a lot common sense things and and general tips on being healthy in general which will help you lose weight with time.
I think the biggest thing is it is a good reminder for people, I think most people have probably heard most if not all of this information before, but in general we don't tend to follow the advice even though we know what is best. We give in to convenience and things that taste good and aren't all that healthy. Americans especially live a very sedentary life style. I'm guilty of it.
This book is a good reminder of the tips and facts that we tend to overlook or just plain ignore. It is a quick read and a good refresher. So while I didn't feel like I learned anything new from this book, it was well written and had a motivating affect on me.

Overall this book reinforces what it takes to lose weight. Gimmick fast weight loss diets lead to more problems than you want. Instead of a "diet" following rules and "bad" foods I will stick to my ELMM and ELMA diet. Eat less move more and eat less move a lot.
Not anything new just a good refresher for basic weight loss. The title however is somewhat misleading considering it says lose weight fast and she emphasizes that you should lose weight at a slow steady pace and how much better it is for your body to do it that way.
