A vanished ghost-hunter. A husband on the run. And a ghost photographer who can’t outrun the spectres of past and present.

Liv Seven has always found her aunt’s inn just a little too… spirited. The shuttered, heavily haunted rooms above the medieval tavern known as The Sacred Salmon are strictly off-limits—especially to someone who tends to photograph ghosts without meaning to. But when a famous TV ghost-hunter disappears after spending the night there, Liv’s camera may be the only witness to what’s lurking behind those locked doors.

As if that weren’t enough, a ghost from Liv’s own life walks back her estranged, disgraced husband, fresh from a collapsed pyramid scheme and now wanted by the police. He swears he’s changed. He swears he needs her help. Liv can’t decide whether to believe him—or banish him for good.

Then a charismatic leader of an occult society and a long-lost relative also arrive at The Sacred Salmon, and things go from “haunted” to “spectrally chaotic” in record time.

Caught between past and present, living and dead, Liv must uncover the truth before the spirits—or the all-too-human villains hiding among them—claim another victim.

FLASH, GHOST, GONE is the third book in the Ghost Photographer Paranormal Cozy Mystery Series—perfect for readers who love charming English villages, sharp-witted heroines, found-family chaos, and a deliciously spooky shiver of suspense.

This isn’t my favorite of the series but it’s definitely jam packed. There’s a ton of tension due to various family members and their shenanigans they brought to town with them. I feel for Liv but honestly I would’ve called the British equivalent of 911 as soon as I saw the ex that did what he did to the family. The story kinda spirals from there into strangeness. There’s ghost hunters and secret societies and other long lost relatives and a new hidden magic talent. It was a lot. Very much interested in seeing how things progress from here. I received an arc via BookSirens this is my honest review.

I received an ARC of this book, which does not affect my review. Thank you to the author and Booksirens for the chance to read this book.

How fun it was to join Liv again on her next adventure in Fairwyck! I have enjoyed seeing Liv grow more comfortable with using her ability, and yet the process is not always perfect. But when a mystery unfolds, Liv realizes that her gift might be the only way to uncover the answers. This was easily my favorite book in the series. Liv feels like a very established character to me now, and I wholeheartedly root for her in everything. It helps that the drama in her own life simply does not seem to stop, now with her ex-husband who caused so much strife in her life reappearing and claiming he is different. Liv continues to be a likable character throughout, despite not being perfect, which is something I seek in books and find myself very happy when flawed characters are still written to be likable yet not always perfect. Liv struggles with her gift and other aspects of her life, and yet in that you see a very sympathetic character who is striving to do what is right. She struggles with self-loathing, regret, and more throughout, especially when it comes to Steven, but it is all understandable and Liv never seems unjustified for it.

Like the other books in this series, Flash, Ghost, Gone reads like a cozy paranormal mystery, but that does not stop it from escalating when the plot calls for it! I very much enjoyed the tarot cards element and the little hints they gave throughout, like the Seven of Swords Liv finds in a certain someone’s bag. It added to the witchy component of the story.

This series has definitely grown on me and seems to get better with each book. Now that some loose ends have been tied up in Liv’s life, I am eager to see how future mysteries test her.

Trouble comes for the Seven women from a few directions. Gina invites a celebrity ghost hunter to film at her haunted inn. However, he disappears without a trace after one night there. As the police and media descend, Gina discovers that Gina is also hiding a sister, Maggie, who was banished from the family and her unassuming daughter, Lucy. Just what are their intentions and why are they so interested in Liv’s cottage? She also learns the Emerald has been ghosted by a man she was interested in. Finding his book with the ghost hunter’s things opens up more questions. Perhaps most troubling is the return of Liv’s husband who begs her for help and hiding. On the run after betraying her and leaving her broke with his Ponzi scheme, Steven doesn’t deserve her help. But with her children’s feelings in mind, she agrees to hide him temporarily. As she scrambles to keep her secrets, her friend’s get worried. Will her ghost communication gift help her save her new life?

I have to say, I’ve rarely been as aggravated and infuriated by a character as I was with Liv during this book. It’s only that I understand her behavior and that it is inline with what many abused and betrayed spouses go through that I kept reading. I’ve been there myself, and I know my reaction was based on my own experiences. I really disliked all of the lying and evasion by Liv and I’m glad that she’s facing the consequences of losing trust. The mystery itself was thoroughly compelling as the different threads twisted, knotted, and ultimately unraveled. I loved that Liv’s friends staged an intervention even though they were off base on the reasons for her behaviors. The cult was appropriately spooky and the fate of the leader presents a potential future issue. Liv learns truths about Aunt Ethel and the cottage and discovers more of her own powers. And Steven does finally accept responsibility for his actions giving closure for Liv and the girls. Kudos to Ms. Green for keeping me engaged throughout despite my ire.

With Aunt Gina caught up in the excitement of being part of a famous ghost-hunting TV programme, Liv Grantham has no one to talk to about her problem - the reappearance of her criminal, estranged husband. Now, Liv is finding she needs to keep secrets from everyone, which damages most of her friendships. And Gina Seven has secrets of her own; secrets that lead to the disappearance of the TV show's host. With the assigned police detective biased against her and her family, Liv is going to have to do something amazing sleuthing in the ghost world.

Oh. My. Days. This story went from zero to sixty in the blink of an eye. What a wild and thrilling ride! It's fair to say that I've been in raptures over this series since its inception, but Flash, Ghost, Gone left me feeling battered, bruised, and incredibly happy. We're early in the year, but I predict that this book will stay with me as one of my absolute favourites from 2026.

I highly (and I can't stress this enough) recommend reading books 1 & 2 before venturing into this new story. And then I highly recommend book 3 even more. It's one of those "everything done right" type of paranormal mysteries.

Thank you to Felicity Green and Booksirens for the opportunity to read this digital ARC. As always, my opinions are my own, honest and true.

Has Liv overdone things? Between her cleaning job, getting the theater running smoothly, her daughters as a single mom, and let us not forget her photography gift she thinks she is seeing things when she sees a man strongly resembling her ex husband.Aunt Gina tells her the tarot cards say there is something hiding behind the moon watching her. She shucks the message out of her head and goes to her book club meeting. It seems Ghost Hunters UK is going to do a piece on her aunt's inn. Tired, her mind all over the place she sees a shadow at her front door. It is none other than her ex, a criminal of running a Ponzi scheme is there. Funny, now he needs something from her. Does he deserve it since his criminal activity and disappearance ruined her life. Her life is full, relatives around and the ability to use her gift. Now the famous Ghost Hunter has vanished, leaving all his high tech gadgets behind. In a true Felicity Green skill, she brings the characters to life. The scents and sounds jump out of the book. What in all that is good, yet frustrating does Steven want? What will the Ghost Hunters find at her aunts place? Where did the man go? Guess what? You have to read for your self and I will add, you will not be disappointed!

Unputdownable!

I enjoyed seeing Liv finally embracing and using her gift, even if it does sometimes still terrify her. She faced yet another mystery and series of crises with her usual stubbornness along with multiple points of indecision. But she manages to figure it out in the end and even ask for help, which she's still not too good at doing.

Along the way Liv (and we!) learn more about her gift and her family, and she meets family members she didn't even know she had. Her children are also growing into their new lives and abilities, and since one of the crises Liv must navigate involves their fugitive father, they're more personally involved this time. And with her aunt's haunted inn as the scene of much of the mystery, it'll take the entire family's efforts to bring it to a close. It's a good thing they're up for the challenge!

This third book in the Ghost Photographer series is fast-paced with a seemingly unending series of twists and turns. It was hard to put down and it's a wonder I got anything else done between starting and finishing! Definitely recommend.

“Flash, Ghost, Gone” is the fantastic third installment in the “Ghost Photographer Mysteries”, and this series truly gets better with every book.
It was an absolute delight to revisit Liv and her family, although she has more problems on her plate than ever before. Just when her life seemed to settle into an agreeable pattern, it gets plunged into chaos. The author, Felicity Green, masterfully juggles a staggering number of plot threads. Liv has to navigate everyday life while dealing with the reappearance of her fugitive husband, Steven; a missing TV ghost hunter; relentless paparazzi; extended family drama; relationship troubles; and the appearance of unknown relatives, all while using her gift to help a plethora of ghosts. Somehow, she has to keep her children safe and hold down her jobs, too.
Green seamlessly weaves these elements together. You can feel Liv’s stress, but each new twist keeps the pages turning at a rapid pace. As always, the book is deeply character-driven, and I felt great empathy for the Seven women I have come to know and love. I am already eagerly anticipating the next book in this wonderful series.

Ivy is a mom with newly discovered witchy abilities. She is learning to navigate how to use them, while also accepting that her two kids have also inherited some form of family magic. She has escaped to the English countryside to reconnect with her family and escape the notoriety from being married to a disgraced con man. Luckily, he is in America – or is he?

Ivy is juggling new friendships and a romantic relationship while trying to keep her kids needs the top priority. Having their fugitive dad reappear on the scene cause ripples in theirs and Ivy’s lives.

In addition to this drama, she is trying to help her Aunt find out what happened to the famous TV ghost hunter who disappeared while filming overnight in her super haunted inn/tavern. This storyline has many twists and turns and the characters are layered. You aren’t sure what is motivating some of them and storyline reveals them at a good pace. I enjoyed this book. This is a solid, cozy paranormal mystery.

Thrilling!

There are several threads going on in this 3rd book in the series.

A well known ghost hunter comes to Liv's Aunt Gina's haunted inn...and disappears. Another relative shows up....and we don't know her intentions. Meanwhile, Liv's estranged husband Steven shows up, wanting to reunite with his family. Liv's taken by her younger child's pleas to help him. In doing so, it puts many of Liv's relationships at risk, including her policeman boyfriend Jamie.

There's a lot to untangle, and Liv sets out to do so. It's a thrilling ride. The book has great characters, an exciting, well told story-line with several mysteries going on, and the magic of the Seven family.

The main mysteries are solved by the book's end, but there's definitely more coming, and I, for one, can't wait!!!!

This one surprised me.

Going into it, I didn’t expect to be as pulled in as I was. The pacing had that quiet intensity — like something was always just beneath the surface. It wasn’t loud or overly dramatic, but it lingered. And I love when a book lingers.

The emotional tension felt real. The characters weren’t perfect or overly polished — they felt human. Messy in subtle ways. There’s something about stories that sit in the in-between (not full chaos, not full comfort) that always get me.

Compared to the first two reads (both solid 3s for me), this one had more depth. More atmosphere. More “I need to know what happens next.” It held my attention without forcing it.

I will say — it’s not a fluffy cozy read. It has weight. But it’s the kind of weight that makes you think afterward. The kind that sticks around a little.

Overall:

Not life-altering.

Not perfect.

But definitely worth the read.

And honestly? I’d pick up another book by her.

*Flash, Ghost, Gone* is a fun and exciting cozy mystery with a unique twist. The main character, Liv, has a special paranormal gift that leads her into both touching and tense situations.

The story has many things happening at the same time: people disappearing, paranormal activity, crime investigations, family problems, old secrets resurfacing, new dangers, and romantic drama. But it’s also about personal growth, the importance of loved ones, and standing up for yourself and what you believe in. The pace is exciting because the challenges keep piling up. Still, it’s easy to follow and never confusing. Everything flows naturally.

The characters are warm and engaging, and the small village setting makes the story even more charming. This book is a great mix of mystery, emotion, and the supernatural. A very enjoyable read!

Flash, Ghost, Gone is a Superb story about Liv who takes photographs that show ghosts and has now discovered she is a Witch. Liv has two children Audrey who can communicate with animals and Blake who can draw what is in people's minds. Her Aunt Gina's Inn is being included in a tv show. The presenter disappears while staying there. Liv's boyfriend Detective Sergeant Jamie Rees is investigating. Her family have asked Liv to communicate with the Ghosts for help. There are many twists and turns throughout the story and some surprising events.

But can they discover all the pieces of the puzzle and find the truth?

Excellent story and series that I have enjoyed reading very much and I highly recommend that you read.

Flash, Ghost, Gone by Felicity Green brings us back for another mystery with Liv and the Seven Women, each with their own uncanny gifts. This time, Liv barely has her footing before her criminal‑on‑the‑run husband resurfaces, throwing her life into turmoil all over again. As if that weren’t enough, Aunt Gina has opened the inn to a famous paranormal investigator for a reality‑TV ghost‑hunting show. When the star of the show, Dr. Drake, suddenly disappears, Liv is pulled into a twisting investigation that leads to heartbreak, confusion, and the reappearance of long‑lost—or perhaps not‑so‑lost—relatives. The situation spirals quickly, and it’s up to Liv and her gifts to untangle the truth from the chaos and uncover the real culprits. Green delivers another emotionally charged mystery that blends supernatural intrigue with personal stakes. Loved this story!

I throughly enjoyed the story telling and character building through out this entire series and this book. I feel like this book completed the series perfectly and came full circle with Liv, Steven, the Seven family and all things witchy in Fairwick.

The book showed the authors slightly darker side and I enjoyed that it wasn’t a murder, but a paranormal disappearance.

While the entire series does lean heavily into the cozy murder theme, I would’ve liked a little more edge and suspense in the grand finale but that’s a personal preference and I feel like what the author was going for, was achieved.

With this third book, I was hoping that poor Liv would finally be able to move forward with her life in all aspects. However, in this one, she makes some decisions that made me so upset with her. The mystery aspect, though, was great. I loved how the plot slowly unfolded, even if I had a small inkling of part of what was going on. But I was still surprised at some of the reveals. I’m hoping that the fallout of some of Liv’s bad decisions is rectified in the next book because I’m so not happy with her. LOL! Well-written, engaging, and a great way to lose yourself for a few hours. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

At the beginning of the story, I was so mad at Liv for acting like a doormat for Steven. The more she gave in to Steven, the more I saw red and lost respect for her. He was ruining the story for me!!! I was looking forward to Liv and her ghost camera. I enjoyed all the supernatural elements. We had some intense moments throughout the story, but being trapped in the mirror added depth and drama which put me on the edge of my seat with this page turner. I voraciously devoured this book, and am on pins and needles for the next adventure eluded to at the end!!! I love this series so much, but this one? This one was a wild ass ride.

If you don’t laugh at, scream at, cry with the MC, are you even invested? 😅

In Flash, Ghost, Gone, we find Liv in the midst of yet another mystery and mix of events that are a bit more high stakes. Some things are left open, but that’s the best part of not being the final book in a series, right?

Yes, this is a cozy mystery. Yes, it can technically be read as a standalone (don’t do that to yourself). And yes, you will want to yell at the FMC a few times throughout it (but she’s worth it and I love Liv lol).

I can’t express this enough, pick this series up ASAP!

This is a really fun clever series, but this last one ends on a bittersweet note. I hopeful the author will bring it back to its happy place with he best one, but I was also happy to see some things get resolved. Characters can’t move forward when shadows are hanging over them and this book offered a lot of growth for all the characters. You definitely need to read it in order. It has a lot of quirky characters, fascinating cats, and 2 cool little girls with interests talents. I really enjoy this series. It’s fun and lighthearted. A great cosy paranormal read. received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This poor woman just cannot catch a break!

Not only has her husband shown up at her house expecting Liv to hide him from the law, but people are going missing. Plus, she still has the theater to deal with, her girls to take care of, her job and her relationship with Jamie. These stories are all very well-written, the action is pretty much non-stop and I really love watching as the Seven women learn more about themselves and their gifts. Not to mention, the stories are very interesting and definitely keep me turning pages.

Another really captivating book in this series. It can be read on its own although the earlier books in this series are excellent to read. It's a great paranormal mystery including witches and ghosts. Mysteries to keep you guessing as to who are the good ones as opposed to the bad ones. Liv is trying to get a handle on her special gift of being able to photograph and see ghosts. Her daughter's each have special gifts as well. They've moved to the Cotswolds from Connecticut after her husband deserted them. Her aunt had left her a cottage so they had a place to live. She has other relatives to get reacquainted with as well.

Flash, Ghost, Gone is the third book in the Ghost Photographer Mysteries series by Felicity Green. Liv Seven’s life takes a chaotic turn when a ghost hunter disappears from her aunt’s haunted inn and her fugitive husband unexpectedly reappears.

A storyline that has run through the first three books finally reaches its conclusion, while a new plot thread begins to unfold. The mystery is engaging and leans more heavily into the paranormal elements. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing where the series goes next.

Well, this book explains a whole bunch of things. Not all, but a lot. I love that Liv tries to protect everyone by shouldering things herself. I think she is finally realizing that she has a family of people who care for her and can help her. Even her kids can help. I am glad that the bits of her old life that followed her and affected her are finally done and gone. She can move forward. This is a great book in a fantastic series!

This was a fabulous book by one of my favourite authors.

I looove movies with strong, independent women who reinvent themselves after their life is shuttered for whatever reason. And when magic is added to the mixture, well... that's perfection.

I recommend this book to all readers who, like me, love their crime/mystery stories with a pinch of magic, stong family ties and great women.

This is one of my favorite paranormal mystery series. In this installment, Liv's fugitive husband returns at the same time a ghost hunter disappears. New relatives return to town out of the blue, and a special cat goes missing. How all of that ties together in this twisty cozy is page-turning. This book can be enjoyed as a standalone.
