Well, almost everything was good, until the last chapters!! Is this a plot? It's a ridiculous... suddenly she has an enemy out of nowhere, and what's wrong with Claire? Suddenly she's a bad girl!! Why?? Tell me why!!!!!!!!!
And then the whole engagement thing is over just another piece of bullshit!!
ughh.. I would have given it 2 stars, but it doesn't even deserve a star now, the plot is weak, and stupid to the max.

Until She's Mine by Victoria Opine delivers exactly what I look for in a quick, un put downable read — tension, chemistry, and just enough twists to keep me flipping pages late into the night.

From the start, the story pulls you in with its high-stakes emotional drama and magnetic characters. The pacing is sharp and efficient — there’s no dragging in the middle, no unnecessary subplots. Every chapter feels like it’s pushing forward, and the momentum makes it very easy to finish in a sitting or two.

One of the standout aspects for me was the spice. Victoria Opine doesn’t hold back — the romantic tension and steamy moments are front and center, written with confidence and just enough detail to hit all the right notes without becoming repetitive. It’s definitely one for readers who enjoy heat in their stories.

That said, the reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that I would’ve loved just a bit more depth in certain emotional moments or character backstories. While the pace is a strength, it occasionally rushes past scenes where slowing down could’ve added more impact or made me feel even more connected to the characters.

Still, Until She’s Mine is exactly what it promises to be: bold, fun, and addictive. I’d recommend it to fans of spicy romance, fast-paced fiction, and stories where desire collides with danger. If you're in the mood for something sexy and intense that you can devour quickly, this is a solid pick.

This story follows Lucian Blackwood, a man who hides an entire storm beneath his polished exterior, and Evelyn, his brother’s fiancée, who is quietly drowning in a life that was never really hers. Their dynamic is the heart of this book, and it is complicated, forbidden, and deeply addictive.

Lucian’s POV is chilling and captivating. He’s obsessive, controlled, and frighteningly attentive. The way he watches Evelyn, the way he remembers details no one else notices—it’s unsettling yet compelling in the perfect dark romance way.

Evelyn’s POV adds the emotional punch. She’s gentle, artistic, and layered, and her internal struggle is written so well. She isn’t naïve; she’s simply someone who has learned to survive by shrinking herself. Watching her come undone—both by Lucian’s intensity and her own desires—was one of the strongest parts of the book.

The writing is atmospheric and deliberate, filled with tension even in the quietest scenes. Every look, every touch, every almost-moment feels like it could ignite something disastrous.

Waited. Watched. Took.

A forbidden dark romance that was easy to devour in one sitting. It's wrong, it's intoxicating, and all the things we shouldn't want but we can't stay away from. This story is full of intense immoral attraction and longing. A man consumed and obsessed with a woman for 3 years and stopping at nothing to claim her even though she's taken by none other than his brother.

Their first kiss is so wrong but it's so right. The chemistry is fire. As morally-gray as the MC is the FMC is no saint, the way she leans into the crazy lust and just accepts his obsession. "All that matters is..., the way he holds me like I’m something precious and dangerous all at once." These characters were meant to be. Great standalone.

I really enjoyed reading about Lucien's obsession with Evelyn, and I found the way their history unfolded really added to the story.

The book opens quite early with the knowledge that Lucien has been watching Evelyn for years, even though she is engaged to his brother (although the implication is that there is a hidden reason for this relationship). The way the story unfolds with the gradual build on this underlying knowledge really drew me in. And even though this book was a little more of a slow burn than I am usually looking for, I wasn't left waiting until the end and it definitely helped to build tension.
Overall I really enjoyed the story and the writing style.
Lucien is definitely the sort of obsessive possessive book boyfriend I am looking for!.

This book is for you if you like your heroes dangerously possessive and your happy endings twisted in the most delicious ways it is addictive, fast paced, and kept me on the edge of my seat! I love the spice and there was some unexpected moments. I did not expect! If you want some sexy, fast pace and intense, forbidden st@lker romance this Reed is definitely for you. Fast-paced, short book, so I could easily read through it. I think the book did a good job to tell that Lucian has always felt that Evelyn was the one for him, with everything he noticed and all the drawings but I don't think it necessarily showed that. Maybe I was looking for flashbacks that actually hinted at something deeper. But yes, when you compare him to Tobias, Lucian really did go above and beyond to ensure that Evelyn maintains her independence and is in this relationship because of her own choice.

That ending with Evelyn revealing she's a murderer? Where was the build up to this other than the last few chapters? Great that we know how her contract with Tobias came to be but it was not at all what the story had been alluding to since the beginning. But sure, it's a way to show that they accept the darkest parts of each other, yay!

It was a forbidden dark romance that was effortless to finish in one sitting. We can't avoid it, but it's wrong, intoxicating, and all the other things we shouldn't want. There is a lot of strong, unethical desire and attraction in this novel. After three years of obsession and a fixation, a man will do anything to get his hands on a woman, even if she has already been stolen by his brother. They have excellent chemistry and a fiery spiciness. The story's writing style also conveys the tension and fixation. Every minute of this was interesting and enjoyable, even though I was gasping in astonishment and other things. This was some HEA, but I won't give anything away. I loved it.

We dark romance lovelies like our men broody, dangerous, and carrying a torch to burn the world down for us. And let me tell ya ladies, Lucian is that and more. Whoa, holy smolders, the spice is on point and his absolute acceptance and love of Evelyn is swoon worthy.
Evelyn is strong, smart and more than capable of carrying her own burdens but only because she’s never really had anyone to lead and love her the way she deserves. This book would get more than 5 stars in my opinion! The plot is amazing, the story was compelling and had me reading this book in one sitting. Highly recommend. And will be sure reading everything Victoria writes!!.

This is a short dark romance book featuring the FMC, Evelyn, who is engaged to be married into the Blackwood family. But her fiance's brother, Lucian, is set on having Evelyn instead - and he won't stop until he gets her.

This is almost a vignette - a short moment in time, only a few weeks for most of the story, but it tells a story of longing that goes back further, to when Lucian first met Evelyn. The chemistry between them is great, and the spice is hot. The suspense and obsession is palpable in the way the story is written, too.

Overall a fun, dark read with some great twists and turns built in.

Until She's Mine is a very emotional forbidden romance story. The characters are well-written and engaging. This is the first story for me by this author but won't be the last.

Lucien is in love with his brother's fiance', Evelyn. He has been watching her for several years and wants her for his own. This is the perfect forbidden romance story. There is so much tension and is very addictive.

I loved the chemistry between Lucien and Evelyn. I also loved the obsessive way that Lucien was with her. You will love this story. Highly recommended.

Evelyn is engaged to Lucian's brother, Tobias but Lucian has been watching her. Evelyn has a secret that Tobias has been holding over her and she is worried about Lucian discovering it.
Lucian isn't as dark as I expected; he is obsessed with Evelyn but it's protective. Tobias is a whiny child compared to Lucian's masculine control.

I have to say that Lucian’s obsession/devotion to Everything Evelyn is über-level. it has been over three years, and he had bided his time until she was ready to confront what was between them. As one of the best lawyers in Manhattan, and heir to the Blackwood legacy, he did not spend his time idly, instead planning on submitting his irrefutable proof as soon as she said “yes” to the possibilities of them. Wow Victoria knows how to leave her readers hot under the collar. Lucian's hot, passionate and obsessive. Lots of twists and turns, characters are well written and likable. Strong plot and yes extremely steamy. Will be reading this again. Highly recommend.

2/5. Honestly, I feel a bit disappointed. I was really excited about the book, but it turned out to be kind of boring. And the relationship between the two main characters felt more like physical attraction mixed with obsession and a need for attention, rather than real love. There weren’t any moments between them that actually made me feel their love for each other.

Meh, there should've been more plot and story to this book, it very much had more potential, like if Lucian also killed someone it could've been a double murder couple and made the book more interesting and romance. Not just stalker stealing his brothers girl.
