About the author

Dominique Valente is the bestselling author of the Starfell series.

She was a journalist for over a decade but thankfully came to her senses and now writes about grumpy monsters, dragons and witches instead.

She grew up in South Africa but now lives along the Suffolk coast in the UK and writes in a green writing shed that takes time to warm up much like her brain. She is powered by coffee, chocolate and stories about magic.

this book was even better than the first, the bond between these humans, creatures and magical houses is soo precious. This book is a warm hug full of dragons, magical houses, secret witch societys and real danger. if you want you a magical cozy book that warms your heart, has great charaters with all destinquised characters, a little bit of sass and laugh out loud moments this is the book for you .

My 7 year old daughter and I loved this! Better than the first book, and better than Starfell. Which was also excellent.
