I loved this series! It was a pleasant surprise. I expected more of an urban feel which wasn't the case. The books felt like good old fashion, well written romance. The series had everything in it that I like in a romance novel: suspense, close family dynamics, alpha males with heart, strong independent women, loyalty, dedication, commitment, not just sex but sex with intimacy, and the HEA. It was a true page turner! I couldn't put it down until all 5 books were done! I liked how the author tied all the books together but you could pick up any one of the books and not feel lost. They are all stand alone with characters crossing in and out of each book. I also liked that some of the characters were family related as well as close friends with family members but it didn't detract from the story in each book. It enhanced my enjoyment of the series.

Although I enjoyed the entire series, my favorite book was Smooth As Silk. Awesome story!

I highly recommend the series!

I enjoy it so so much that I read them all again you laugh you will cry you will worry and get angry too but you love each characters and their stories.
