If you’re looking for a soft, wholesome love story where communication solves everything and everyone respects boundaries… this is not that book. Not even a little bit.

Loved
Keira, Ace, and Cyrus are survivors. They each have suffered horribly in their pasts. Now each have made a life for themselves where nothing can hurt them again, or so they think. What happens when these three enter each others lives? Will they keep each other at arms length or let down their walls? As they try to get their bearings an enemy decides to attack. Will they get the chance to see where their relationship could go or will the chance be snatched away before they get a chance.
I really enjoyed this book. Ace and Cyrus' story was not what I expected. Keira is a strong character and a perfect match for them. This book does deal with some dark themes so I do advise reading the trigger warnings.

DNF Good spice - boring story
There was almost too much spice but the spice is very good. Pure smut - if that's what you're looking for - zero real storyline. DNF because not my jam. Writing is okay.

Let me start off with saying CHECK YOUR TRIGGER WARNINGS!
This is the first book I've read by Selena Winters and let me say, it definitely left an impression! This also won't be the last one I read either! I'm hooked! I kind of went in blind on it, I basically only skimmed the blurb, but i would have read it anyway with the whole 'masked men'. IYKYK
The Dexter twins, the MMCs, Ace and Cyrus, have had their fair share of traumas starting from childhood, but have always stuck together through it all. At times I felt that it was almost to the point of being unhealthy, but as the story goes on I understood why and realized that I was wrong for the most part. The connection these 2 brothers have is uncanny. They are 2 halves of 1 whole. Totally in sync with one another to the point of being able to communicate just by a look, each knowing what the other is thinking. Possibly the twin bond thing?
Keira, the FMC, has also had traumas from a very early age. In and out of foster homes all of her life, she endured and survived what would have completely broken and shattered others.
Keira is a dancer and uses dance to express herself and to have complete control over it. One night after rehearsal, she returns home and checks her mail, only to find an invitation to something that she knows nothing about. A secret society/club if you will. She reads and reread information enclosed, and now is very curious as to what its all about. Little does she know, this will change the entire course of her life forever, as well as the Dexter twins lives.
I don't want to give anything away, as this is a book that you need to experience for yourself, but again CHECK YOUR TRIGGER WARNINGS!

Double Trouble absolutely proves that Selena Winters just keeps leveling up with every book she writes. Seriously—how does she keep making each one better than the last?!
This dark romance delivers everything: why choose (yes, twins), masked men, primal play, and heat that is straight-up off the charts. But what really makes this story hit isn’t just the spice—it’s the emotional depth woven through all of it.
Ace and Cyrus, the Blackwood assassins (and if you haven’t read the Blackwood Brothers series yet… fix that immediately), are perfectly in sync in every possible way. Their dynamic is intense, seamless, and honestly a little mesmerizing. Then you have Keira—a dancer stepping into the Hollow Hunt as prey—who brings both strength and vulnerability to the story.
What really got me, though, was the backstory. The trauma each of them carries is heartbreaking, but watching them find healing, acceptance, and love with each other? That’s the kind of emotional payoff that sticks with you long after you finish the book.
And can we talk about that tease of a possible spin-off?! The hints about the secret society that trained Ace and Cyrus have me very intrigued. I will be first in line if that series happens.

Double Trouble is the third story in The Hollow's Hunt series. It is so well-written and suspenseful. Please do check your triggers. I enjoyed this story so much and was hard to put down.
Keira has had a tough upbringing. She grew up in foster care where she was abused. She has fought hard to get where she is and dreams of opening her own dance studio. She is a hard worker and relies on herself. When she gets the invitation to the Blackwell Hunt she decides to go. She wants to do something for herself.
The Dexter twins, Ace and Cyrus, are drawn to Keira and have decided to meet her in person before they claim her in the hunt. When they meet her in person they are even more drawn to her. They sense that she is hiding a dark and painful past.
Keira goes to the hunt and sees that Ace and Cyrus are there. She is surprised to see them and then they catch her. The hunt specifies that if they claim someone they must stay with that person for a year. The chemistry between them is so good. Ace and Cyrus are so connected. They have been close since birth. They both are attracted to Keira. What will happen when they realize they want her to stay with them?
I loved how emotional this story was. I enjoyed the chemistry between the brothers and Keira. They were so protective and possessive of her. I look forward to more from this talented author.

Loved the bond between the twins Ace and Cyrus - and claiming Keira after the Hunt just made their devotion to her and each other ten-fold! The Dexter twins were drawn to her to Keira at first sight, and she to them. They all had similar traumatic pasts, and just knew that they were what each other needed. The twins didn't hesitate to help her get closure and revenge! This book has it all - Selena never ceases to amaze me - the main characters' connection, the SPICE 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️, the action, and the three bonus chapters 🥵🥵🥵🥵!!!

They've never had this visceral reaction to anyone before. They know that a few days will not be enough after the hunt has ended.
Keira feels the magnetic pull the twins have on her. They see her, as she sees them. She knows their darkness, and it feeds something inside her. When her past comes to light, she needs to face it; she needs to feel free from the weight she has carried around since she was a child.
This book is action-packed and steamy from the start. It's another good story following the participants in the hunt. A great series overall.

The devotion the twins have to Kiera after the Hunt was so amazing to me
I loved how the twins were with each other from the beginning, you could tell they had been through some awful things in their past together and bonded in a way most brothers don't but that it make their bond stronger.
The way that they could see Kiera's trauma from the beginning and still remained by her side, especially once finding out what the trauma was, stole my heart. The way they just want to build her up, help her be stronger in any way she needs it....amazing
Give me some Dexter twins all day every day

What’s better than having one man obsessed with you? Two men obsessed with you, DUH! Ace and Cyrus are twins that share more than blood. Their movements perfectly synced, finishing thoughts and accurately interpreting unspoken thoughts through glances. That’s normal for twins it seems, but the unbreakable, intense, all consuming bond that is impossible to come between made the story so much better. When two men share a purpose and they want to share one woman, how can she refuse?

Anything Selena Winter's writes is just an automatic read for me at this point. The way she creates unhinged characters and their twisted stories easily hook me every time. I know I'm going to get an exciting, twisted, dark, spicy filthy read full of suspense that keeps me devouring pages. If you have a dark fantasy with unhinged masked twins, look no further. Keira, Ace, and Cyrus are hot AF, full stop! These Twins are intense, and once they set their sights on Keira, there was no escaping them. Wow, but they had me melting into a puddle.
Never a dull moment, this was another banger. I ate it up.

These twins give Kiera a run for her money! Once they saw her dance they both knew they had to have her! When she agrees to the terms of the hunt, Kiera gives up all control which isn't easy for her. Kiera's time in the foster care system wasn't kind to her, after being abused in several homes; Kiera shuts herself off to the world....until she meets Ace & Cyrus. They bring out a side of her she never knew she had, makes her question her desires based on her part trama but ultimately gives in. These three make each other realize there is more to life then the one they're leading. I loved Ace & Cyrus they're opposite but more alike then they realize. Definitely a must read!.

Dancer Keira joined the Hollows hunt too loose her control, thats defined her very life and being, she wants to let go and be chased. what she couldnt have forseen was becoming the target and obsession of the Dexter twins Ace and Cyrus. Ace calculates and Cyrus devours, two sides of the same coin in sync with each other through everything and everyone, now they have their sights firmly fixed on Keira and theres no escaping the hunt or the twins. Well-written the story is fast paced steamy hot twist filled desires, trauma, why choose and more!

Selena Winters keeps us perfectly in sync with the Blackwood Brothers universe. Double Trouble drags you straight back into the scorching chaos of the Hollow Hunt, and the Dexter twins absolutely deliver. When they interacted with the brothers, I had so many "I remember that" moments.
Fast-paced, deliciously intense blend of action, heat, and feral obsession. The twins are unhinged in the best way and their chemistry with Keira is explosive. I was hooked from page one. Absolutely loved it.

I mean, where do I start? I guess by saying how unbelievably talented Ms. Winters is, and if she wrote the phone book, I'd happily read it and nominate it as best book of the year. Idk how Selena Winters does what she does, but, man, can she do it brilliantly!
As with everything she writes, this was absolute freaking gold! I loved every single page, from start to finish, and I'm not ashamed to admit I was positively owned by Double Trouble. It was very much a literary masterpiece! Utter perfection! Five stars for a five star author and a five star read!!

Book 3 of Hollow's Hunt series. Can be read as a standalone.

The characters were very complex and compelling and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. All in all a great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Being married to a twin, it's always a risk to read twin books. I loved their devotion and adoration of Kiera. How relentlessly they pursue and avenge her. The trauma that ties everyone together is dark, hurtful and life changing. The twins see a way to help Kiera close that chapter of her life and take full advantage of it. For me, the story was incredible, the characters were intense. I have liked all these books and can't wait for the next one.

This was so hot. Kiera and those twins 🤯🥵🔥 I was all in for this one. She was dark in her own way from childhood trauma, but the twins were tagged to be predators. They had attended the hunt for seven treats and caught and released. None of the women ever caught their eye. Not until Kiera. She caught their attention and more. This story was so dark, so spicy. I loved the intensity of this one. They made for one hell of a hot trio.

Keira is a choreographer and dancer with a troubled past. She works hard to keep her walls up to guard from hurt. She enters the hunt where she meets twins Ace and Cyrus. Ace and Cyrus are twin brothers connected to the Blackwood mafia. Once they see Keira perform on stage at a club they know she's theirs for life. A tale of revenge with plenty of spice is a perfect read.

From the previous books in the series, there were hints of how good it would be and it didn't disappoint. The twins live up to the hype and Keira handles it. Like the series, it is full of spice. Some small issues but it very good overall.

The first half of this book was like O.M.G. and then the other half was HOLY CRAP...together this made a heck of a book. I really enjoyed this one. I feel like maybe, just maybe there might be a little spin off? It left it open for the twins at the end.

This book wow me the spice was spicy but the story/ plot was really good she how they could see her trauma. Amazing book amazing author I will always recommend a Selena Winters book and this one is perfect

I have loved all of these books but I think this one has been my favorite thus far. While I am excited for the next one I will admit that I will most likely read this again very soon.

These MCs are fighters and have survived a lot. When they are put together again do they have what it takes to stay together or will they break. I don’t really want to give much away but this is a must read!! But please check your trigger warnings
