Guys Next Door in a Small Town

Rate this book
Three men. One heart. Zero chance this ends well.

Falling for my gorgeous neighbors was never the plan. But loneliness makes bad decisions feel like lifelines, and these three are anything but ordinary.

Matthew shows up every morning with coffee and a smile that melts my defenses. But there’s a commanding edge beneath his charm that makes me want to surrender completely.

Luke fixes everything around my rundown cabin with quiet determination. But the way he looks at me like I already belong to him? That’s something I’m not sure I want fixed.

Beckham is the tattooed recluse across the lake. He doesn’t let anyone in—except me. One look from him, and I forget every reason I should stay guarded.

With them, I feel cherished. Wanted. Alive.

But my past isn’t done with me yet. My ex-husband is back, and he’s ready to ruin everything. Their reputations, their livelihoods, and even their futures.

Now I have an impossible Walk away to protect the men I love…
Or risk everything to finally have the love I never thought I deserved.

After her divorce is final, Emma decides to move back to her parents' cabin to start afresh. Coming out of a controlling marriage, Emma's confidence is low, but she is determined to make this work. There she meets her three neighbours: Matthew, an English Professor who tutors online; Luke, who has his own Construction business, and Beckham, who has his own Motorcycle business.

Matthew feels like he knows Emma from the chats he had with her parents when they came up to the cabin. He feels an attraction to her immediately, but knows from what little she divulges that her marriage wasn't a happy one and doesn't want to pressure her into something she may not be ready for.

Luke comes by to offer his services, to make sure that her cabin is safe, and helps out with home repairs. He feels the intensity between himself and Emma when they are around each other, but knows that she and Matthew also share something. Does he step back, or does he let Emma know he would like something more?

Beckham had a hard childhood, a lot to deal with from a young age. He has learnt to keep himself to himself, not put himself out there because it only leads to hurt, but where Emma is involved, his heart and his head are on different pages. Can he take that leap of faith? Is she worth getting hurt over?

All four are going through a voyage of personal growth, but could it all be derailed before it even starts because of Marc, Emma's controlling ex, who thinks that Emma is his to own and control, even if they are divorced. Navigating this unknown territory will not be without its difficulties; things may or may not work out, but all three men know that loving and being with Emma is worth it in the end.

I really enjoyed this story and I highly recommend it to those who love a good spicy reverse harem that will end in a happily ever after. Emma has moved to her parents cabin in the mountains and meet up with her neighbours, Beckham, Luke and Matthew who bring to the relationship all that she needs, and especially support her when her ex-husband comes to try and ruin any future happiness that she has with them, it all works out in the end and they go on to have a happily ever after.

When she takes over her parent's cabin in the mountains she connects with Beckham, Luke and Matthew. Each man brings out something in her that she lacked from her ex-husband and together they become a whole unit but when her ex comes back into the picture trying to make waves will her men band together to protect. This small-town romance had me connecting with Emma and her three men.

If you're in the mood for a steamy reverse harem novel with plenty of spice and unapologetic moments, Guys Next Door in a Small Town won’t disappoint. I loved getting to know each character individually and watching their friendships develop. It’s a fantastic HEA!.

What happens when you divorce and want to start over? You move to a small town. Where everyone knows everyone. Where you can feel safe again. That is what Emma does, after 5 years of a marriage where she was not an equal partner. Where she made her self small. Not the vibrant person she really is.

This was an interesting book

Three very different men and one insecure woman who divorced her jerk of a husband. This story of how her life transformed keeps you on your toes. Unconventional isn't always bad, just different. You meet three totally different men and realise all mesh well with the woman.

amazing read

This story was so well written. I loved all the characters and their development. All three men had difficult pasts and Emma helped heal them the way they helped heal her. This story was one you couldn’t put down, and was emotional. But a very much deserving happy ending.

I really enjoyed this story. Emma moves to a small cabin in the woods after a messy divorce. She's attracted to her three HOT neighbors. How will she ever be able to choose? Great characters and storyline.

This was a cute small town, RH romance about a recently divorced woman and her three hot, but damaged, neighbors. All three men have baggage regarding past losses and family but Emma breaks down each of their walls brick by brick and uses it to rebuild her self esteem and confidence. They each provide a type of support or comfort that she needs and the story depicts how they navigate the unique relationship.
