A raw, trauma-forward story of survival, found family, and the fire that comes after the fall.
Remi Carter never meant to fall for a biker. She didn't plan to walk into a club war. She didn't expect to be hunted, silenced, or broken.
But when the life she's built is torn apart, when violence leaves scars deeper than skin, Remi is left with nothing but rage, memory, and a will to survive.
Set against the backdrop of a fractured motorcycle club, a tight-knit trauma clinic, and a ranch that offers refuge to the women the world forgot, No Redemption Road is not about being saved.
It's about what comes after.
After betrayal. After assault. After losing the life you thought was yours.
This is a story of women who fight. Of found family. Of love that doesn't fix you, but chooses to stay when you're at your worst.
It's the slow burn of healing. Of facing the monsters who stole everything. Of burning it all down, and still choosing to live.
This is not a romance with a tragic twist. It's a trauma story with no promises. But at the end of the road... maybe there's still a way home.
⚠️ Content This story includes themes of trauma, sexual violence, emotional abuse, and psychological manipulation. Remi's journey includes scenes of assault and survival. These events are portrayed with care, never glorified, and written to reflect the raw truth of what she endures.
Just a quick little note to say how much I enjoyed this.
Good writing. I was engaged. I liked Remi and the characters and even though Logan was a complete moron, I still enjoyed reading his POV. Best of all, I liked how it ended. It was wrapped things up nicely without a knife to the heart. The only thing was - I'd like to know what it was Remi gave Logan in the end before she left to take care of herself. Cole's feelings for Remi were also a bit of instalove - which I am never a fan of. I did not see the twist coming- always a bonus.
I honestly can’t put into words how good this book was.
I first came across this author on Wattpad and decided to give this story a try. I usually like going into books already a little spoiled, so I knew beforehand that it would be dark, emotional, and that romance wouldn’t be the main focus. Even with that in mind, this book still completely pulled me in.
The story follows Remy, the female lead, who is initially in a relationship with Logan. Later, Cole becomes the main love interest. We also have strong side characters—Ava, Remy’s best friend, and her fiancé Harlan; Wren, Cole’s sister and an ER nurse; and Kane, one of Harlan’s old military friends who helps with surveillance.
At the start, Remy and Logan have been together for about 11 months. Logan is part of a motorcycle club and lives a double life—one version of himself with Remy, and another with his club, where he’s unfaithful and careless. Everything unravels when Remy goes to the clubhouse to see him after he’s been distant, only to walk in on him cheating. Heartbroken, she leaves—and that same night, she’s kidnapped by a rival gang.
What follows is devastating. The gang forces her to call Logan, telling her she’ll be released if he answers. While she’s trying to reach him, she’s made to watch a live feed of him at the clubhouse—ignoring her calls and continuing as if nothing matters. He rejects her over and over again. Eventually, the gang assaults her (implied rather than explicitly shown) and records it, later sending the footage to Logan’s club.
From there, the story shifts into a rescue mission. Remy is well known in her community for running a trauma centre for abused women, so multiple groups come together to find her. She is eventually discovered by Cole, a former MC president who now lives on a farm with his sister, Wren. Remy is in critical condition and taken to hospital, where Wren helps care for her. Logan is completely shut out—everyone is disgusted with him, and rightly so.
As Remy begins her recovery, she’s moved to Cole’s farm for safety. Cole’s connection with her is immediate—he admires her strength, her resilience, and supports her every step of the way. Their relationship develops naturally, and I found myself really rooting for them. Meanwhile, Ava’s friendship with Remy is incredibly powerful—there’s so much love there, even when things become strained.
We eventually learn that the man behind Remy’s kidnapping is tied to her past. One of her former clients—someone she knew from college—had been escaping a forced marriage to a brutal cartel leader. Remy helped her start a new life, but the woman was eventually found and killed. The cartel leader, presumed dead, was actually alive—and he targeted Remy for revenge, even intending to make her his new bride. To make things worse, members of Logan’s own club—including the president—were secretly working with the cartel.
The climax is intense. Wren is kidnapped, and a trade is demanded: Remy for Wren. Remy goes to the warehouse fully expecting not to survive. In the confrontation, she kills the man responsible for her suffering, but it’s clear she is deeply broken by everything she’s endured.
The aftermath focuses on her healing. She’s struggling mentally and emotionally, pushing people away—including Ava, which leads to a heartbreaking fallout. Eventually, she agrees to go to a trauma centre to get the help she needs. After five months, she returns stronger, begins rebuilding her life, and reconnects with those she loves.
Logan, meanwhile, leaves to hunt down those responsible, promising to make things right but never returning. His remorse feels real—you can genuinely feel his regret—but it doesn’t excuse what he did. His ending is left somewhat open, though it’s hinted he may have found some form of peace.
The epilogue ties everything together beautifully. Remy and Cole are together, she’s pregnant, and he proposes. Ava and Harlan are married with a baby girl. There’s closure, but also space for more stories.
I absolutely loved this book. It was dark, emotional, and incredibly well written. The characters felt real, the relationships were powerful, and the storyline kept me completely hooked. I can already see potential for more books—especially for Ava and Harlan’s backstory (which I’ve already added to my library), and I really hope we get one for Wren and Kane because there’s definitely something there.
This was such a gripping read, and I’ll definitely be continuing with this author’s work.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I’m not great at giving reviews but for this one I thought I’d give it a go. Please read all the trigger warnings because this will not be an easy one. Remi is a trauma counselor who is out to save as many lives as possible. While waiting for her patient she gets a call and from her saying she’s in the parking lot was afraid to get out of her car due to a group of bikers sitting out there. Remi confronts them and meets Logan. Logan is a biker but he really wants Remi so after some back and forth Remi gives him a shout. They date and she’s truly happy with how everything is going, she goes to the clubhouse to see him and he of course wasn’t expecting her. Logan decides he wants the dream with her but he wants to go out with a bang. Remi shows up believing her and Logan is building that future until she witnesses him with the another woman. This is where her world turns upside down. She takes off out of the clubhouse house on foot leaving her car behind. Down the road she is kidnapped by pure evil. She is taken and is showed pictures of the women and children of the club members, she’s told that she could either take the abuse for them or each one of them will be kidnapped and abused (S.A). Remi being who she is said she would take the abuse to leave the others alone. She’s beat, S.A multiple times for a few days. Everything is recorded and the video is sent to Logan and each club member. Logan is woken up and told what is going on. The club calls in other clubs to help look for Remi. Cole (Hammer) president of one of the clubs that’s looking finds her days later thrown away like trash. Remi fights hard to live after flatlining multiple times. Remi is a fighter through and through. There is so much more but I’ll leave it here. Believe me this if a power read, and if you can handle the triggers you will fall in love with this amazing group (family) by the end. Who knows maybe even Logan is redeemable. Happy Reading.
Wow… I have read a lot of books but this one was amazing! This is a story of deep trauma, perseverance, forgiveness, mental health and so much more. Remi is stronger than most and has been through too much! I cannot wait to read more of this series as it’s released.
This was a good trauma story, I enjoyed the characters. Some early story plots seemed a little off and confusing for me. Not understanding why Preacher blamed Logan and it seems like they had two separate characters with the same story line. Mateo wanted her ….but Preacher wanted her too?? So which was it?? It was like author switched her story line midway. Preacher said Logan took someone from him etc but we never knew who that was we learned it was Mateo so this leaves a plot hole too many questions without answers for me. What about the girl from the clinic/nurse no real Explanation of her reason of sabotage?? Seems off.
I also didn’t like the whole insta love radiating from Cole. Awkward is what it was. And for her That kind of trauma needs more than 6 months to heal from don’t care how strong you are. I feel like the epilogues were out of order for me. And not sure how I feel About Logan’s epilogue. Not sure how I feel about his story no offense but I think I would be better off without a HEA for him. Would have rather had him sacrifice himself for a grand gesture of forgiveness. Wish I knew what the letter said, but I have a feeling he is getting his own story but don’t think I can read it. I know he suffered but the whole relationship was lies and betrayal that doesn’t go away. The way it all went down was unforgivable.
This book will stay with me for a long time for so many reasons. I don’t know what I was expecting when I read this book. I had a feeling it would be emotional, but it was so much more than I expected. There was so much to this book, that I don’t even know where to start.
Remi was strength personified, even when she didn’t feel it. The things she went through were horrifying and I could not imagine coming out the other side and she did! She was changed, but she made it and relearned to live and that is one of the hardest things to do after trauma.
Her found family were so full of love for her and I loved that they were there for the long haul. There were so many twists and turns where you had to wonder who Remi could trust, but the ones there from the beginning and the ones who saved her stuck and I loved that. Ava and Harlan were so loyal and patient with her. The unconditional love between Ava and Remi was beautiful. It was true sisterhood. Wren became her new sister and was there for her and never gave up on her. I think I saw a little something with her and Kane and I am here for it! I hope they get their own book in this series.
I was so torn on Logan. I wanted to hate him. He screwed up in such an epic way that I expected to hate him. I really thought at first there was no redemption for him, but then he kept showing up. I could never accept him getting back together with Remi. There was too much pain there and I don’t think she could ever truly look at him the way she did. When he shatters trust, he knows how to do it absolutely, but there was just something about him. I wanted him to find peace by the end and to remake himself and his life better. I wanted to see him become a better man and I kind of want his story and where he goes from here. I wanted to see him move on and be happy, because I think he learned through what he lost and I think seeing him come out the other side would be another beautiful story.
I adored Cole from the beginning. I loved the love he had for his sister. I loved the way he was changed by the woman he saved in that ditch. I loved his loyalty. I loved that he loved enough to let go when he had to and have the patience to wait. I am saying less about him than I did Logan, but that isn’t because I liked him less. I loved that Cole got his HEA.
I know this was the first book and start to this series, but I am hoping for many more. I am soooo not ready to let go of these characters yet. There are still so many stories to tell and I can’t wait to read them. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could, because this was just such a beautiful book. I didn’t want it to end.
This was my first read by this author. I binged it on WattPad. I normally read stories where there’s a HEA between the H and the h. I don’t like them moving on with other people at all if the H can redeem himself… I still decided to give this one a go.
This story has A LOT of ⚠️TRIGGERS WARNINGS⚠️ Sexual assault, abuse, manipulation, and violence. Natasha doesn’t hold back, so be prepared!
I thought this would be your typical Motorcycle Club type of book. You catch the MC cheating, she runs out, he grovels, the end. NOPE. It wasn’t like that at all! I don’t think I gasped or teared up so much through a book.
Remi is a kind hearted person. She lived a life of foster care and you would never know her circumstances by how she is now. She believed everyone deserves that chance to just live, so she works at a clinic that helps women who have suffered at the hands of others. Trauma and abuse wise. That’s where she comes across and meets Logan. Oh Logan. You can tell he truly and deeply did want to be with Remi. His mindset is “just one more night of doing fuck all” and the next day he will fully commit to Remi. Only thing is, he didn’t get that chance. Remi sees it all and that is where their lives change forever.
What I loved most was how real it felt, there’s no instant fix, no “love heals everything.” Heavy, yes, but the ending also beautiful. If you want a story that will rip you open and piece you back together, this one’s it. This is a definite must read.
Side Note: I truly want to see where Logan goes from here. I think he deserves his own story and HEA after showing how much he’s changed 🩷
This book will tear you apart and put you back together. Remi catches her boyfriend, Logan, cheating with a club girl. He thinks it’s the last time and Remi pays the price. She is taken, tortured, and raped violently and repeatedly. She is rescued which leads to the real story.
Revenge for helping another. She has become the obsession of two violent men. Men who don’t care who they hurt to get her back. One to abuse and one to make her pay for his sins.
The story introduces Cole, Wren, Harlen, Ava, and Kane. These people fight to save Remi’s life, mind, and broken soul. This book has found family and community. No true sex but descriptions of violence Vance women and killing.
I read over 40 books a year. I found this book on Facebook and it was on one of those pay for each chapter apps. I didn’t pay for it so it took days and days of checks in just to read one chapter. I finally googled it to see if I could find it somewhere else and found it on Amazon. I bought it immediately.
This book broke me and put me back together. It’s one of the best I’ve ever read. It was so hard but lovely at the same time.
Remi loved Logan and he loved her, but he broke her. He was a broken boy that had to grow up after she was kidnapped and he realized he wasn’t there for her when she needed him. She suffered so much and without Ava and Harlan and Wren and especially Cole she would have faded away and given up.
This will not be the only book I read from this author. I highly recommend this book.
I really hope there are many more books to this series. That’s how good it was. The writing is solid and flows well. It seems to have rhythm to it.
It starts out with cheating. Then it’s dark. It has major triggers, so if violent SA sets you off then you should skip it. Most of all it is a story of healing. There is romance, it’s quiet and in the background. It’s also a main part of the story in the long run. But first the ugly part. Then the FMC has to fight her demons figuratively and literally. I like how the MMC was strong but he wasn’t the largest part of the story. He wasn’t “all healing” like some authors write. His touch doesn’t automatically cure her. He isn’t always the one picking her up or giving her strength. All the supporting characters are well written and each have a role to play.
I can’t wait to dive into the next book and get Harlan and Ava’s back story. Then I hope there is a story coming for a certain broken character. Everyone deserves healing. Maybe there’s also a story secretly waiting to explode for a snarky feisty couple. One can only hope…
Once I started I couldn’t put it down. This story is different from anything else I’ve read in a long time. This is about survival. I think the second book should have been first but that’s ok, I look forward to reading. I hope there’s a book about Kane and Wren, then maybe Logan because he deserves one too.
As soon as I started to read, I couldn't put the book down. I don't think I've ever had so many emotions while reading a novel as I did when I read this! Overall rating is amazing. The story line was perfect. If you haven't read this book I suggest you pick it up and do it now.
I hated reading about what happened to her. But then to learn why it happened!!! A very gripping tale of heartache, grief, healing & rebuilding! A must read!
When I started this book I thought it was just a typical MC story, but WOW I was wrong! This book grabbed me and kept me reading to the very last word. It gave me feels and it was well written. I am looking forward to read more books from Natasha Derouchie. Loved this book! I will be recommending it to my friends.
Amazing book ! Great writing and the story was so Captivating. I was pulled in after the first 2 paragraphs and couldn’t stop reading. Enough love and heart ache to really feel like I was living through it all with her. Great job - I cannot wait to read the next one.
Wow. This book tore at my soul. I haven't been that invested in a character in a long time. Remi's journey through trauma not only kept me engaged, but also in tears. Don't be far from a box of tissues.
whilst this book centres around a very brutal gang rape, there is no description of it, its hinted at, what was done to Remi but its the aftermath, thats concentrated on.
you'd think with such a theme this would be a hard book to read, but its not, I inhaled it.
fabulous writing, amazing characters, world building, it was wonderful.
This book has everything betrayals, rage, manipulation, redemption, healing, scars and forgiveness. This book lived in my brain for months after I read it. This start with a brutal betrayal and leads you to her HEA. Remi was so strong and brave but also broken and empty. This is her journey to healing, learning to trust love and her HEA. It was so beautiful and realistic. There was no pill or easy answers, it was hard work and you get to see Remi go through it all. Cole was just what she needed. Logan redeemed himself. Wren was an amazing. And Ava was so understanding and fought for Remi. I love that Natasha alluded to the horrendous things happened to Remi, but you don’t get the dirty details. This author is one to follow. Thanks!
This is the journey of mostly Remi. With what happened to her and in the end how she was able to find some peace and healing with a new and kind Hero Cole. However, it was a long journey.
This is the first story I have read by this author, it will not be the last. I was introduced to her writing on Wattpad. You need to read the trigger warnings for this story!
I went into this story thinking I was going to be reading a typical romance story with a MC as the backdrop and betrayal by the hero. It is not that story. The author said at the outset it was not a romance, although you will be rooting for two of the characters to get together, and they do.
This story is compelling, and it pulls you in and puts your emotions through the grinder.
At the heart of this story is Remi. Remi is a good woman, who grew up in foster care. She rose above her circumstances and works hard at a clinic trying to counsel women who have been through trauma and abuse. She meets Logan who belongs to a MC. She has no intention of getting involved with a guy from a MC, but the heart wants what the heart wants. Logan pursued her with a passion, she heard him tell others she was the one, he was going to marry her. He would walk the straight and narrow after the wedding, for now it was ok to have fun. Once night she sees him, club bunny grinding away. This is the night her whole life changes! The betrayal of him with a club bunny is not the worst of it. In the scheme of what is about to go down, it is a paper cut.
Remi is taken by a rival gang…she is used, she is abused, she is left for dead. And yet this is still just the beginning. Sometimes the biggest scars are not the ones left behind that we physically see, but they are the ones forever ingrained on our soul. Instead of trying to give too many details and ruin important aspects of the story, I will give a brief overview of characters that make up the story.
Remi- Betrayed by the man she loves, broken beyond repair. She is the center of the story. The road ahead of her to find healing is full of roadblocks. She will have to fight her way back to some sort of normalcy. But what happens when there is no fight left and the alternative is to waste away.
Logan_ He has is own messed up circumstances. He believed his own lies and thought he wasn’t hurting anyone living the MC life while keeping Remi as his future redemption. He believed his own narrative. When he realizes the consequences of his actions, he does what he can to help Remi get justice, but will he ever have a chance to win Remi back?
Cole- He used to live the MC life until something happened. He now runs a reformed MC where He now runs a ranch, where rehabilitation takes place. He is on a mission with others to right the wrongs of others. To deliver justice and save the victims. He finds Remi, and despite her broken body and spirit, he feels something for her, some sort of pull.
Wren- Cole’s sister has her own story. She is a doctor. She involves herself in Remi’s healing right away, risking her own life. She has some understanding of what Remi is feeling.
Ava-Remi’s bff she is not giving up without a fight. She and Remi have been through things. Remi is closer to her than any blood relative ever could be. She will not be leaving her behind.
Harlan- Ava’s husband and police chief. He loves Remi like a sister, and he will do anything to make sure his wife’s best friend is safe and avenged.
Kane-somewhat of a mercenary has connections and has joined the fight to save Remi and figure out why not everything seems so cut and dried. There also seems to be some tension between him and Wren. He also lights a fire in Remi.
Thorne-MC president of Logan’s MC, he tried to warn Logan about his errant ways. There is something wrong in his MC.
This story has some twists and turns. It is a story of healing. A story of surviving when it seems easier to just die. Things get ugly and uglier before there is a resolution. There is no easy way to fix what has happened. The story’s ending should satisfy most readers and give good closure. Remi will forever be scarred, but she still has a life to live. She has to decide how she wants to live that life.
The author has won me over with this story and her talent. I will be seeking out more of her works.
I don't normally read books like this. I saw an ad for it and looked to see if I could read the actual book and not through the pay per chapter app being promoted. I'm glad I did. Please read the trigger warnings for this book ⚠️🚨 The author did a phenomenal job making the reader feel an emotional resonance with the story. I loved the FMC she was fierce, and the supporting characters were perfect. There was definite Kleenex usage. I read this book in one sitting, I couldn't put it down. I will most certainly be looking for other books from this author. The only thing I'd change would be a little more information in the epilogues. After subject matter I really could've used a little more happy after the conclusion. I hope Logan, Wren & Kane get their own stories. I really wanted more in Logan's epilogue, I hope for a lot of forgiveness all the way around.
This is a story that will tear you to pieces. Remi is the FMC, and the absolute torture she was put through would have destroyed a lesser person. She is definitely broken and in emotional distress. No question that she needed therapy to put herself back together and discover her new self.
I’m not going to talk much about the plot. This is one that needs to be experienced. The characters are so well written that you feel as if you know them personally.
There are some minor editing issues, like missing words, but the book is still very readable and it’s really good. Highly recommended for fans of MC stories. Looking forward to more in this series.
I went into this not sure what to expect. It has a trope I usually stay away from but I’m so glad I took the chance. The story is about redemption is so many ways. The FMC, who is a trauma counselor, ends up kidnapped and assaulted. The story stems around that incident. The amount of plot twists and depth was great and I was left continually guessing. I loved all of the characters. I especially liked how redemption did happen for both Remi and Logan but in different ways. I had a hate/hate relationship with Logan for 80% of the book but I loved how the author played out the story. The ending was amazing and so perfect for everyone. The only thing I want to know is what was in that letter.
I really don’t know what to say. This is an amazing book that you won’t be able to put down. Very emotional and traumatic, with an honest portrayal of healing after surviving something almost indescribable in its cruelty. Could be very triggering so check before going in. But just a brilliant story. My only criticism is that I felt the ending was rushed. After seeing Remi’s trauma and pain for 91% of the book, it would have nice to read more about her healing. But still an absolute 5 star book.
