Eden High Book 1

Sian Claiborne is not a happy camper. Just when she was getting into the groove of high school hijinks, her parents decides to pick up stakes. Now the popular cheerleader is off to the ritz and glamor of the Hollywood Hills, where her new school is home to the offspring of Hollywood's elite. Determined to hold her own, she befriends one of the school's outcast on her first day, thus drawing a line in the sand between her and the ever popular 'Mean Girls'. Little does she care, until she claps eyes on Jace Saunders and almost loses her pompoms.
Of course the head cheerleader already has her eyes among other things set on Jace and lets Sian know in no uncertain terms that he's off limits. What's a girl to do when the first guy to make her heart go pitter patter seems to already be taken?

Eden High Book 2

Jace Saunders has taken one look at the new girl and this son of Hollywood royalty wants what he see. But Jace has history with the most popular girl in school, a girl who has already warned off Sian, and what about Sian's parents? Are they going to allow their daughter to date someone as high profile as Jace?

Eden High Book 3

Now that Jace has staked his claim, will things settle down for him and Sian or will rumors come between them? And what is going on with little Cassandra, what secret does she share with the school's heartthrob?

Eden High Book 4

Now that he has staked his claim Jace and Sian are the new 'It' couple and there's love in the air , not only for these two lovebirds, but their friends seem to have been bitten by the bug.
Not everyone is thrilled at the sight of the rock on Sian's finger, that everyone knows is a sure sign of Jace's love and commitment to her, something that at least one member of the student body had always thought would be hers.
What happens when Mandy starts to unravel and her secret lies get out of hand? How many people will she hurt to keep the truth from coming out?

Eden High Book 5

Sian might have seen something she shouldn't have. How will she deal with her suspicions and who can she share them with? If what she suspects gets out, it can destroy a lot of lives, but she's tired of spending so much time on her arch enemy. Should she dig deeper on her own, or was it just a figment of her imagination?

Eden High Book 6

With Sian in a coma, Jace is torn between looking for answers and staying by her side. Meanwhile her enemies, unaware as yet that she's been found are celebrating their good fortune. Mandy is sure that the way is now clear for her to get Jace back in her clutches and has all intentions on getting started on that right away.
But soon word of Sian's return gets around and things start to unravel for some of Eden Heights most influential families.

Sian Claiborne is not happy about the move her family is making to the Hollywood Hills, but she will deal. She finally has permission to date now that she has turned sixteen, but at a new school she has to start over. She was a lead cheeleader and plans to make the school team again, but when she sees the hierarchy she changes a few of her plans. She makes friends with the girls that get bullied and she doesn't put her goals aside, she plans to cheerlead too.

Jace Saunders, the school quarterback is the by everyone wants to be with. He had broken up with the vapid most popular girl in the school and although she seems to think he will come back to her, she is mistaken. Jace has set his sights on Sian and she is not just going to e a girlfriend, he plans to go the distance with Sian. Call it love at first sight, he doesn't care he only know Sian is his destiny.

I opted to read the series in the #1-6 which was great. Very fun read, it did have a couple things that had eye rolls because it seems so out of place for their ages but I also believe in HEA. One of the better Jordan Silver books.

Jordan Silver's books are a bit hit and miss for me but I enjoyed this one. She definitely knows how to write a crazy OTT alpha like nobody else. Overall a fun read.

Very ya with a very obsessed and besotted young hero who as soon as he sees the heroine understand she’s it.
There are many obstacles especially some crazy ow that tries literally to kill the heroine but the hero will protect her even if he won’t be able to avoid she’s hurt.
This is somehow split into six installments that take some years staring from high school until after their marriage.
Not a lot of drama. The heroine doesn’t have much personality since the hero is JS extreme model, which means he gets to decide what she wears, where she goes, who she talks to and what she can’t or can do.
But he’s kind of cute because it’s for her wellbeing and it’s not as if this girl has a lot to say for herself.
As I often say, if it’s ok for her it is ok for me.

4 'It's so bad, it's good' STARS

This series is like a literal version of a TV Soap Opera. It's ridiculous, everything is unbelievable, the characters are full of themselves, too beautiful for real life, and capable of EVIL - and the whole thing was completely addictive to read!! It's like my new guilty pleasure.

There's everything I usually despise, including insta-love to the EXTREME! But for whatever reason, I just didn't care. A sixteen year old gets engaged... to a guy she's known for less than a month. I mean usually that shit wouldn't fly for me, but it suited the craziness that is this series. There's the typical hot jocks, the mean girls, the unpopular girls that become the popular girls and all the usual stuff you'd come to expect in any High School drama. Oh, and lets not forget the whole plot to kill storyline.

You basically need to switch off your brain and ignore all the bad grammar, spelling mistakes and poor editing, if you decide to read this or you won't enjoy it. Just sit back and revel in the dirty-talking guys from Eden High. But be warned - there is a CLIFFHANGER! This pissed me off greatly. The whole reason I decided to read this series is because I thought it was only six parts and they were all published, but nooooo. Not only is there a whole other series to come (which I'm okay about, since I want more of this nonsense!), but the author has no release date for the next series. Not only that, but she's asked people to please stop asking her when her books are coming, so it could be agesss until we find out what happened with that bitch Mandy!!

I want more Tammy/Shane & Jared/Belle. This OTT unbelievable drama is fun. I'm currently re reading. I wish Jace wasn't such an ass. I enjoy when he's alpha sweet.

Eden High are my favorite books by JS. Characterization is lacking & so is plot development but I could care less. I have fun reading.

Great series! Lots of ups and downs. Suprisingly mature considering it revolves around seventeen year olds and holy moly, what an ending! Looking forward to series two.

I will be continuing my review, but I had to share what I've read so far. It's like when something is so unbelievable that you're telling everyone, "You've gotta hear this." I feel confident that my rating will not change, because the story is becoming progressively worse.

The book starts out with the love interest asking the girl's dad for permission to date her. No such permission is needed from the girl herself. He simply tells her that they are now dating. I could have enjoyed this premise if this was a historical romance, but it doesn't work in a contemporary YA. Now that the girl is apparently his property, he gets mad that guys are looking at her ass. He, of course, blames her for wearing jeans that make her ass look too good. Don't worry, because he's rich enough to buy her an entire new wardrobe that adheres to his specifications of what she is allowed to wear. Whew, relationship saved!

So then he forbids her to leave the house during a sleepover she's having with her girlfriends. He's entitled to completely control her life, because why ladies? It's for her own good. Yep, it's exactly like the relationship she has with her dad, except with some sex thrown in. Yuck!

This teen guy is the same age as she is, but he clearly knows best because he's male. I actually discovered this book through a review for Paper Princess, and I was eager to read about another hot jerk. I like the hot jerk when he is presented as such. What I have a problem with is presenting him as a caring, loving boyfriend when he is a controlling and overbearing caveman. If you've been wishing that cavemen survived into the modern day and developed the ability to speak and drive cars, this is the book for you. I'll update when I see what other neanderthal goodies this book has to offer.

Update: DNF at 70%
This is the first book that I wasn't able to finish. I was having fun laughing at how absurd it was, but then it wasn't funny anymore. The philosophy of this book is completely warped. The love interest purposely hurt her during sex to punish her for flirting with another guy. He also told her that if she didn't fix her "listening problem" he would have to punish her by spanking her, because "that's what men do." This is not BDSM, which requires consenting adults. It's not any kind of sex play. It is clearly an abusive relationship, although the abuser claims that there is a difference between what he is doing and actual abuse. There is NOT. When your boyfriend is doing something to you against your will, that is abuse. It's sickening that this guy is being presented as a loving, doting boyfriend who is protecting her from the mean girl. Who is going to protect her from him?

I was going to mention all the other problems with this book, like the countless missing quotation marks, but I am too upset that this is being marketed to teen girls. So, I deleted a comment I wrote last night, because I realize it was bad manners to criticize the author personally. I do apologize for that, but the rest of my review stands.

I am so, so glad that I only borrowed this book and didn't actually buy it.

Well I actually like this series a lot :) I wish it was just 1 or 2 books instead of 6 novellas. I thought the books were written really well for being novellas no major time gaps or anything and not really any angst. I also like how the author gives everyone's point of views especially Mandy's because you see how nuts she really is. Mandy needs to die a horrible death. I LOVED Jase I love how bossy he is with Sian and I love Jared and Belle and even Shane and Tammy. I can't wait to find out what happens next

I really enjoyed this box set.

I was craving OTT, soap-opera level drama, set in high school or college and this delivered.

I didn't always love how Jace spoke to Sian, there were a couple of times I wanted to throat punch him.

Yes, this still had the issues of many JS books: it needed another couple round of edits and the author needs to remember how to spell her characters names.

Also, I didn't realize when I started this, that this was Series 1, and that there was a Series 2 (also 6 books) that would continue the saga. So where this ended, I was annoyed.

But despite that stuff, this hit the spot, it was what I needed at the time.

Yikes!

Though I love the idea of a plus-sized teen protagonist, I could not finish the story due to excessive grammatical errors. Here are a few (verbatim) from the novel:

1) "Nothing's going to happen bro don't worry about me, see ya."
--> It should be: Nothing's going to happen, Bro. Don't worry about me. See ya. (Bro is capitalized, because it's being used in the same way as Mom or Dad is: as a name rather than an occupation.)

2) "No I'm not pregnant what's wrong with you?"
--> It should be: No, I'm not pregnant. What's wrong with you?

3) "Hey sis this is Shane he's the star running back for the team."
--> It should be: Hey, Sis. This is Shane. He's the star running back for the team.

4) "Hi Shane pleased to meet you, Jared this is my friend Belle, Belle my brother Jared or as you so quaintly referred to him this morning the new... hmm mpppm huuuuh."
--> It should be: Hi, Shane. Pleased to meet you. Jared, this is my friend, Belle. Belle, my brother Jared, or as you so quaintly

It's a good series to be honest, BUTTTTT

1) Jace is already bordering on the line of becoming an abusive male.

2) Who let's their 16/17 year old child get engaged??? I don't care how much in love you are that's just...ugh! Which brings me to my next point...

3) What kind of parents let's their 16/17 year old girl spend the night with her boyfriend/ "fiancee". That stuff would not fly with my parents and it sure as hell isn't gonna fly with my children (when I have them)

4) Who in the world would have sex with somebody straight out of a coma? She almost DIED!! why are you all have sex right. That just blew my freaking mind!!!

That being said, I also really like the secondary characters and their individual stories. I appreciated that instead of doing a spin-off series for each of the other couples, that their stores were meshed in with that of the main characters

Fell short

Now here is the thing this plot could have made a AMAZING series. I mean something that even went to a tv show. My only problems are one highly highly unrealistic...seriously something would never happen like this and the other issue was rushing. I just wanted to scream at the author SLOW DOWN! The story jumped, rushed and too much happened at one time. It was hard to keep up with ad the fact that the dialogue would change between people and not different paragraphs sucked for me because I would think it was the same character talking but in reality it had switched to someone else. The book needs to be gone over and edited, slowed down a little, and then you got yourself a wonderful series.

DNF. Horrible characters, depressing and disgustingly abusive relationship between so called hero and vapid heroine. I stopped reading after the so called hero uses sex to punish the heroine for flirting with another guy. He deliberately hurts during sex (explicitly stating this is her punishment for her actions and that he doesn't like hurting her but she needs to learn her place) Terrible misogynistic attitudes to women. What makes this even worse is it is set in a high school may be read by impressionable teenagers. One star is too generous. It is books like this that make me long for a negative star rating.

I have never read a book that is so degrading for a girls..WTF? I can’t believe at this time where women are trying to fight that a book would depict a relationship that a “boy” punishes for having “his girl” not listening to him. I don’t care how or why... the thought of a seventeen boy making demands was pure degrading to me & don’t let me go to the idea of tracking his girlfriend. All I thought was this is the beginning of a terrible relationship because love is give and take-equal. And anyone at the age of seventeen doesn’t know what is going on . No, this isn’t alpha male - this is wrong.

All right, this is an insta-love romance. The guy looks at her and I can hear his mind going all MINE. The day after he goes and meets her parents and declares his intentions. Lots of drama ensues and he wants to marry her. Yeah, way over the top.

I didn't think I would like Sion. I didn't for the first few chapters, she was so preppy and spoiled, she annoyed me. Then she made friends and started to act more like a human and it got better.

This story never lets up, it's never ending drama, one situation after another, each one more bizarre than the last. There was a tracker. Enough said.

The author needs to check her grammar. There were some misspellings but what really bothered me was the need for periods and commas. Many times I had to read a sentence twice because without the comma, it meant something different than the author was trying to say. Yes, we are reading a teen story and they don't mind their grammar that much, but I do.

Also, be consistent with the way the characters talk. Belle appears in the story using a lot of slang and shortening her words but by the end of the story, she talked like everybody else.

This is super fast to read and don't need to use many neurons to understand it. A good book for letting your brain rest.

I'm glad I read all 6 at one time. It's also a cliffhanger. This is crazy bad.. but that's what I expect from this author.

Sian and her family move to So. Calif for dad's new job. She thought was already wealthy, but not like the wealth in Eden. There's lots of high school drama about who's who on the pecking order. There are also no teachers to be spoken of. Jace, the quarterback, is instantly in love and within two weeks has proposed (kind of -- there's a big ring but no real romantic words).

There are plenty of issues with this book, first of which is the horrific lack of proofing. The second is Alpha male Jace and his unsaid issues of domestic discipline -- if you don't listen to me I'm going to smack your ass, etc -- which is still abuse. Sorry kids.

AND I HATED the lack of birth control. They may be wealthy but they're stupid.

The only thing I liked was that the girls who are bullied get with the hot athletes... that's a fantasy that a lot of bullied high school girls would have. So that was nice.

Eden High series one…

This is quite the story! Teens, of course, and who would ever think that this kind of stuff would happen to them. But this is Jordan Silver, and she’s good at writing the kid who’s mature and smart, and has already found his mate. In this case Jace is 17 and he’s found Sian, 16. The major malfunction is Mandy, who he was screwing but because of an anonymous tip he had cut her out of his life. I gotta say that I’ve already read this whole series a couple of times, so I know what she did, and it is totally evil. And she screws older men and blackmails them for money, of course.

There’s a lot going on, including an attempted murder of Sian. This one is wild, totally unbelievable, and over the top. None of this is realistic but the whole thing works!

I love this series, and Ms. Silver gets a star off for her legendary lack of grammar and spelling, but I heartily recommend this.

Love.

The only thing that would make this series better is if there isn’t a disconnect from being pregnant to random twins and the rest of the gang having kids. Missed out on a lot of time before the gang returns in caitlyns story. that would have been great as a short story epilogue or something if that nature. Jaces reaction to twins the process of graduating. I almost feel cheated :( only cause I am obsessed. Additionally this series needs to be on audio. I’ll preorder that, just get her done :) 🦋

I can't even with this book. I tried, I stuck through the first two books. After that I just found the main character's annoying. I hated how you had ever character's point of view it was confusing and pointless at times. It was a fail for me. I had high hopes because it was a recommendation from a group and I was really hoping for a good read.

The hero of this book was a capital DOUCHE. Not in the sexy way either.

I wanted to love it

I saw a recommendation in one of my book groups so I downloaded. While the storyline seemed interesting and the characters were likeable, these books badly need an editor. The constant grammatical errors and run-on sentences killed it for me. Also, I get that they’re high schoolers but some of it was unbelievably immature and cringe-worthy. I feel like the story has a lot of potential and it seems like a lot of other readers did just fine with it.

I love how OTT possessive this hero is

I'm not into YA but I am into ultra possessive and jealous hero's who love their heroine's to the core. This story had all of this in abundance with drama thrown in. I loved the secondary characters as well. Warning...this is insta-love which I normally hate but this author made it work here.

I’m not usually a huge fan of high school romances. That was before I read a Jordan Silver high school romance! Oh man Jace is too hot for words lol Cyan is just the right blend of sweet and sassy! This book also gives you a glimpse into the other characters lives and thoughts. I’m off to read season 2 and I can’t wait!!

I love this series. All these possessive men taking care of their women. Then you've got the high school antics thrown in and some off the chart whackos too. Definitely enough intrigue and twists to keep you wanting more. This is a series so know that if you start reading this you will want more.

I thought the story was okay but I saw too many signs of an abusive relationship. I know the author kept saying that it wasn't but it was too much for me. And there was way too much sex and not enough story.
