Can going home be the beginning of everything she’s been searching for?
When overworked marketing executive Clara Whitmore collapses during a high-pressure pitch, she’s sent on an unexpected leave of absence—and finds herself back in Maplewood, the charming hometown she left behind. Autumn has settled in, the town's annual Harvest Festival is in full swing, and Clara is surrounded by pumpkin patches, cider stands… and Eli, the quiet carpenter with a past of his own.
As Clara helps revive the festival and rediscovers the magic of her roots, old sparks rekindle and new dreams take shape. But when her big-city job comes calling, she must return to her high-powered life… or stay in the small town that’s beginning to feel a lot like home.

Very Hallmark like with the fall setting and super quick read! Less than 2 hours and I read it all! Small town girl goes to the city to live her dream (for 10 years), works herself too much where she collapses at her job and was told to take some time off. She ends up back in her town, ends up working Eli they have a connection that goes way back and it just builds. He never forgot her, she got lost in the city life and found herself again with him. Then HEA ❤️

This was such a cute hallmark type read. The FMC has burned out with work and is told to take a vacation. She goes back to her home town where she finds her happy self again.
This book is definitely a cozy fall read. A second chance awaits you to realize you're dreams were here the whole time. The characters are friendly, likeable, and a community that fills like family wrapped in a warm hug. I highly recommend this book. Enjoy
This was lovely. I would have given it 5 stars if it was a longer book with more depth. But, this book was perfect for a quick, light and fluffy pumpkin spice season read. For me personally something about it really felt like it was my story on a deeper level. Her burn out and exhaustion from shears going and wanting more success more money , fast paced disconnected life style. Burn out and breaking, and finds she wasn’t where she belong. Just really good.

This book was cute, very short, sweet and to the point. However, I think this book is missing good quality character development and background information about the characters and town. Overall, this book feels like it’s lacking.
For example, I struggled with the female lead being from this small town and living there her whole life, except the last 10 years, and she didn’t know who the male lead went to prom with. Him and her were best friends growing up. So, did she not live there and just visited, or did she live there and move away before attending prom??? Also, where are her parents what happened there? They are never mentioned just her aunt. So by the end it seems like parents are nonexistent and that her aunt raised her. But it never specifies. There is also a lot of implied history among characters and a lot of implied bickering and flirting between the two main characters that is not explicitly described which leave me as a reader wanting more information to support what’s happening and why the character say and do what they do.
