A nifty little e-book I picked up for free that as the title suggets, is simply, A Short Introduction to Beginners Spanish, Including Spanish Grammar, Verbs and Vocabulary. This is a great introductory resource for those beginning to learn Spanish and even for those more well versed, up until an intermediate capacity, a nice little revisionary tool. I personally found the lists of common verbs, 25 for each verb ending, ar/er/ir, thus 75 in total, to be of most use, for while I did know many, there are still quite a few that I am looking to integrate into my vocabulary which will most definitely come in handy.
All in all, Linda Plummer's Conquer Basic Spanish guide is exactly as specified in convenient, straightforward presentation; this makes it especially easy to come back to and reference when needed.
I'm an almost intermediate in Spanish now but going over this book was a great revision of sorts as I now understand the basic grammar. So I can say for sure that this is a really good short one if you want to get started in learning Spanish without getting overwhelmed by the number of things when starting to learn a new language. What I loved most is the consise, aerial view this book provides perfectly of the Spanish language. Loved this one. ❤️❤️❤️
It's the bare basics for very early beginners. It's not the best layout but it's free. If you've taken this in high school or higher you already know this stuff. It may be good for someone who hasn't practiced in a very long time or someone just starting to learn.
I’ve just completed week 3 of using Duolingo to learn Spanish. This little book helped me organize what I’d already learned. I will return to it to refresh my learning.
This book made learning basic Spanish simple for me and it can for you too. Senora Plummer breaks down a base outline of simple conjugation and conversational words for anyone to use. An investment for downtime or anytime!
When I was in high school I took 2 yrs of Spanish and remember only little. But I did remember something's after reading through this book. I will probably have to read several times before I catch on. I need for when I visit Barcelona.
