In addition to the basic of the Catholic Faith, such as the Commandments and Sacraments, this work contains some very useful additions. There is a section devoted to the seven deadly sins, which are barely mentioned in the Baltimore Catechism. This work also contains several sections on the Sacred Liturgy that are excellent. This includes the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Divine Office. Several feasts of the Church are explained as are some of the ceremonies of the Church.
The spiritual and corporal works of mercy are expounded upon as well as the sins that cry to heaven for vengeance. This book will serve as an excellent companion to the Baltimore Catechism for all sincere Catholics.
