Crystal, a woman on top of her world, has her life turned upside-down in the best and worst possible ways. She meets Ranger and goes through several ups and downs with him. This story takes place during a global pandemic that occurred during my lifetime. While it provoked memories of my own while reading it, I still had to find out if they would or wouldn't end up together. This book is 100% worth reading. It makes you think about what's going to happen next. It makes you feel for the characters. It also makes you remember and brings your own story during this time frame alongside theirs.
This was cute. It's a bit of a trauma bond romance, but it's cute. The emotional and mental health toll that covid takes was super relatable. I also lost my sense of smell and taste and my mental health tanked while waiting for it to come back. I also had a bit of a hyper sense of smell and I'm still sad it's not fully back. I can understand why the main female character was going a bit bonkers. Overall, it was cute and I enjoyed it.
I love this book, it is a book you don't want to stop reading. Brings back memories of how COVID hit and how everyone fwlt the effects. Highly recommend you read.
