Amy Sinclair never expected her biggest crush to become her biggest heartbreak.

She’s loved Prince Anlon from the moment she met him—kind, brilliant, and heartbreakingly fictional. So when a major studio buys the rights and casts Jake Hollander, Hollywood’s action hero better known for his abs than his acting, Amy is furious.

Ranting about it on his fan site might not have been her smartest move. But it might be worth it when her post sparks a connection with Elijah Cohen, a sweet, geeky special effects artist who feels like her perfect match, even if he’s half a world away.

Falling for Eli wasn’t in Amy’s plans. But when fantasy collides with reality, she has to ask can a relationship that started online survive the messy truth when it finally becomes real? Or is it safer to keep hiding behind the perfect fantasy?

If only life were as simple as fanfiction…

This was an amazing and entertaining book! I couldn‘t stop reading and was glued to my kindle all day. It‘s such a fun story idea and the implementation was well done. The writing style is easy to read and understand (even as a non native english speaker). I liked the storyline and the pace of this book. It‘s something I‘ve never read about before and I loved it.
Amy and Elijah have great tension and their banter is chefs kiss. I loved both of them equally and it was a wild ride to follow their story. There is a lot of drama and heartbreak but it felt so fucking real. It was heartwarming to read how they fought for each other and I was so happy when they got their well deserved happy end.
Overall this was a great book!

When I think of R.G. Angel, the first thing that comes to my mind is dark romance or mafia romance. So when I saw she wrote a book that is neither of those, I was surprised. No, not shocked, just surprised. I don't know why she decided to write this book, and it doesn't really matter. What matters is the book. Is it good or not?
And I can honestly say: "It's so good." 🤩 And I hope it won't be the only one. Even though I still love her dark books 😁

I loved Jack/Eli and Amy. I love secret identity. I loved this whole pen pal thing. And yes, even though I'm a dog person, I absolutely loved Pea 😍 Pea is so cute. Just look at him on the cover, with his eye patch 🥰 Sorry, Jack, but Pea wins my Oscar over you 😎
And when I'm at the cover, I love it so much. It's so beautiful 🩷

So, let's be honest, every time a book becomes a movie, we all discuss the cast, don't we? And it can be very wild, when it's not the cast we had in our minds. And we love ranting about that, don't we? 😎

I loved Amy and Jack. And I suffered with them all the time. Because yes, we all see how difficult relationships between a famous actor and an ordinary person are. There aren't many couples who survive it. The only one I can remember so far is Matt Damon.
That's why I love romance books, because there it always gets its HEA 😎

I'm curious if this book stays a standalone or if there will be a book about Will, Jake's best friend. I would love to read about his HEA. He definitely deserves one 🩷

This is one of those books you can't put down. Both Amy & Jake are very likeable characters & you can’t help but admire them. Their struggles with self doubt & worth. Reading the story of these two will give you all the feels.

The banter? The slow build? The Secrets? All amazing!
The twists & turns had me flipping pages late into the night, desperate to see where their messy, magnetic chemistry would lead.

Watching them figure out the new dynamic, how they would fit into each other's lives, especially with an ocean separating them.

I have no words. Amy is Jakes queen, she found her king that worships the ground she walks on. The way Jake was everything Amy needed and more, had my heart melting. His love for her was unwavering and so tangible you could feel it on every page !

Fangirl was an amazing read, a story about learning to love yourself, (flaws & all) About finding love in the most unexpected of places. That love isn’t always perfect but being able to love & be loved in return is the ultimate gift of happiness. Fangirl is a story about love, passion and finding the person you were meant to be with all along.

If you’re a fan of the following tropes then you’re going to love Fangirl ~
❤️Secret Identity / Hidden Identity
❤️Fandom Girl x Hollywood Star
❤️Online Friends to Lovers
❤️Fandom / Geek Culture
❤️Chronic Illness Rep
❤️Grovelling / Redemption Arc
❤️He Falls First
❤️Found Family
❤️Slow-burn with steam

You NEED to read this book, and honestly, go in blind. It will make the experience even better

I absolutely adored this book.

I loved the dynamic. The getting to know each other and falling for the person… the fall out had my heart hurting for both Amy and Jake.

I couldn’t get enough and am still thinking often of this and can’t wait for more x

This is a book for everyone, who has ever been a big fan of something and disagreed strongly with the authors/ producers decisions regarding favourite characters. I didn't know R.G. Angel before this book, but I will definitely take a look at her backlist now. I chose to read Fangirl because the story sounded light and relatable and that's exactly what I got. Within the first few pages I felt like Amy was a manifestation of my own mind. The way she lived for her favourite fandom and felt so deeply about the book series characters was so familiar to me. It was like looking in a mirror and seeing my younger self. I totally got her drunken rant and had to laugh quite a few times while reading. Jake/Eli is equally loveable. Yes he's a Hollywood star, but he is funny, thoughtful and not conceited. I really loved the snarky banter between the two main characters at the beginning. I hoped that Jake would find the right time and place to clue Amy in on who he really is and of course I saw the trainwreck coming a mile away. Nevertheless I suffered with both of them and rooted for them the whole time. I haven't cried so much while reading a book for some time, but Amy and Jake really tugged at my heartstrings. I stayed up way too late because I couldn't put Fangirl down.
A special kudos goes out to Jake's bff Will, who I was suspicious about at first but he really came through in his own chaotic, explosive way, and to Maya, Amy's best friend (or as Jake put it Amy's "sword and shield"), who is cheerleader/pep talker/mental health coach and so many more things wrapped into one package. Everyone should have a Maya in their lives.
I'm extremely thankful that I found this amazing book. This story about love, passion and finding yourself as well as the right person has been a highlight in my book year. Thank you to R.G. Angel for giving us such a wonderful story.

An adorable slow-burn romance that was a fast-paced, cozy and made me smile from start to finish.

The story follows Amy, a die-hard romantasy lover whose obsession with her favorite book series goes way beyond the pages—she’s also a popular fanfic writer by night and an accountant for a production studio by day. When she finds out her beloved series is being adapted for film, she’s not at all happy with the casting choice for her ultimate book boyfriend. (The struggle is real, honestly.)

After a drunken rant on a fan forum about the actor, Amy wakes up to a storm of hate comments and regret. But then she gets a message from Eli—the site’s charming moderator—and an unexpected connection forms. Their online friendship quickly turns into something more, full of adorable banter and heartwarming moments.

But both Amy and Eli are keeping secrets—Amy’s daily battle with a chronic illness and Eli’s hidden identity. As their worlds start to collide, they have to face everything from fame and health challenges to questions of trust and vulnerability.

This book has so much heart. The characters feel real, the romance feels earned, and it’s such a sweet reminder that love can bloom in the most unexpected way. I’d definitely recommend Fangirl to anyone who loves a feel-good cozy romance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

THANK YOU to the author and @midnightreadersbookpr for the gifted copy of this book.

"There's nothing else worth keeping it I lose her." ~Jake❤️

"Sweetheart, everything worth doing is stupid." ~Will😂

"I can't even be mad. My husband is beautiful." ~Amy❤️

"My Ames is getting laid. My Ames is getting laid." ~Maya😂

Fangirl was an incredible and emotional read. Wooo!!🎉 I picked it up and could not stop reading it. I was pulled into the story and laughed and felt the emotional rollercoaster ride of Amy and Jake. Including their besties Maya and Will. There was an incredible world building connection between California and England. It didn't miss a beat. Let's begin. Amelia 'Amy' Sinclair, 29, an accountant, was real and relatable, a girl's girl, a fanfic writer, shy but outspoken and yes grumpy.😂 Mom to cutie pie Pea.😻 If she had an opinion she was going to share it. But she wasn't mean about it. Not like that. Amy was dedicated to how she felt, how she saw things, especially when a certain Hollywood American actor was set to star in a movie based on a book series that she was deeply devoted to. Her whole heart was against 26yr old heartthrob Jake Hollander playing Prince Anlon. No. No. And Amy shared her viewpoints and arguments on media forums pertaining to this injustice, a movie mistake in the making. What she never imagined was that a MOD, a certain young man across the pond, was reading her shared thoughts. Thoughts about him. Jake aka Eli was reading and he had to reply back to see why Fangirl was against.... well, him.🙊🙊🙊🙊

Things didn't go as planned. Not really. Something bigger happened. The banter grew as did the mistaken identity, yes you may call it catfishing. With no ill intent. Fear and overthinking can do that to a person. There was so much at stake. These 2 were connecting and bonding with friendship into much more. Thoughts and insecurities are being shared, flirty moments, they face timed but technology had a hand in distorting things. I get why it had to be done that way. I was invested. The meeting up. I was anxious for them both. As if I'm the one dating them.😬😱 The secret! It was about to...💣💥💥💥💥💥💣 The betrayal. Angry. Crying. Everyone's heart breaking.💔💔 That's the magic of Ms Angel's storytelling. It made you feel it. The sweet slow burn of let it be me playing out. I got wrapped up in their romance and hearts opening to true possibilities. Jake was a good man. He handed his heart out to Amy. He was overprotective and madly in love. He reminded Amy over and over of that. He gave all of himself. He grew up. I just wish Amy had been more vocal like he had been. And Will, Jake's ride or die bestie. What can I say? I love that broken and hurt man.🥰 He needs his story told. Time to heal. Please. And thank youuuu. Maya, Amy's bestie, was hilarious.😭😭😭😭

I won't tell you what happens next or even how it ends. B/c where's the fun in that.😜 Can 2 people from different worlds make it work? Is love enough? It's a really good book. I can't express that enough. Just read it and go on this crazy love ride.🥰🥰 I love the book, the book cover and these characters. I recommend. Shout out to One-eyed Pea🐈 and Lord Rupert Meowpants III 🐈‍⬛!!! Happy reading.*•>§<•*💞💞💞💞💞💞

FANGIRL by RG Angel is a contemporary, adult stand alone romance story line focusing on UK citizen, accountant and fanfiction writer Amelia ‘Amy’ Sinclair, and American actor Jake ‘Elijah’ Hollander’s storyline.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Amy and Elijah/Jake) FANGIRL follows the building online relationship between Amy Sinclair and Elijah Cohen. When Amelia Sinclair discovers the movie producers are eyeing American action hero Jake Hollander as the lead for our heroine’s favorite novel, Amy begins an online tirade on a forum for fans of Jake Hollander but quickly finds herself the target of fan based anger and vitriol. With the help of the forum moderator Elijah, Amy and the fans are quietly contained but in doing so, our couple begin an online friendship that will slowly turn into something more. Elijah claims to be the moderator, but Elijah is more than he claims to be, and as the weeks and months pass, our couple find themselves virtually falling in love. An invitation for a visit, and a movie premier threaten the future for our couple when Amy discovers she has been catfished, and the man with whom she was falling in love breaks her heart.

The world building follows the weeks and months, back and forth between Amy and Elijah/Jake. Jake is desperate to be normal, wants to be loved for the person not the star, and in this, Amy is struggling with feelings of inadequacy, enhanced by the social media slurs, paparazzi, and a few well placed comments and motions from the people in Jake’s life.

The relationship between Jake and Amy begins online, with great banter and fun but the fun is about to end when Amy discovers everything she thought she knew about Elijah was a life. The back and forth building relationship is about to become a reality but in this the betrayal and lies are enough to push Amy out of his life. Things will go from bad to worse when a reconciliation is targeted by the people in Jake’s life. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the to, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include Jake’s best friend and struggling fellow actor Will Winters, and Amy’s best friend Maya. I am hoping the author has future plans for Will.

FANGIRL is a story of secrets and lies, friendships and relationships, forgiveness and love. The character driven premise is inviting and imaginative; the romance is tender, sensitive and impassioned; the characters are sassy, lively and compelling.

Spice: 2🌶️
FMC: Amy Sinclair
MMC: Jake Hollander

This was a story I never knew I needed. A fangirl and a Hollywood star, but not the kind of fangirl you think. No, Amy Sinclair is a book series fangirl, and the Hollywood star Jake Hollander will be the actor playing the male main character. But Amy isn’t happy with this news as she doesn’t enjoy Jake and his tactics. So when she speaks up, drama begins, and Eli Cohen, a special effects artist, helps her out and a new relationship develops.

From start to finish, I was curious where the story would go. Both characters were struggling with their own things, but after meeting each other, things became easier to handle. They found love but also friendship within each other. the slow burn was burning, and the secrets kept me hooked.

When the secrets started to reveal, I was wondering how they were gonna get through it. They needed to get to know each other all over again and learn their new dynamics. How would their relationship survive this, and how would they manage to stay together while living many miles apart.

I enjoyed every bit of this story. It was full of tension, banter, chemistry, and a lot of self-discovery. Both characters were very likable, and I was rooting for both of them. I also became very curious about Will’s story and hope his book will come soon.

Thank you to the author R.G. Angel for the ARC copy and for letting me read and review this amazing book before release!

This book was fantastic and I read this cover to cover in 1 sitting as I could not put it down. It was so perfect in the realism of both the FMC health issues as well as the depth of her personality but also with the MMC and feeling like he lost his identity in the Hollywood chaos. Both characters struggle with different issues but have huge self esteem doubts and end up sabotaging themselves a lot because its just easier to go with it than fight.

This made me think of every time a poplar book gets a tv series or movie adaptation where fans go in and cast their dream actors or people they can envision in the lead role. Now tell me when a fan of a book doesn’t get into some heated debate about this with not only with other fans but sometimes the celebrity fans outside the book world. Happens all the time and this book didn’t disappoint. Amy made it known to Jake Hollinger’s fandom on his personal site that she did NOT think he was suitable for her beloved story and Prince Anlon character he was going to be cast as. But after being attacked online by his fandom, one of the mods Elijah reaches out to her and they start talking randomly and end up in an online “relationship” as they are each drawn to the other and what their thoughts/dreams are.

This book not only has all the tropes that the author mentions but you also have long distance/overseas issues to get past as well as besties that are willing to throw down for their people. Maya and Will are amazing side characters that gave so much banter to the storyline but really also confirm how I felt about both Amy and Jake’s characters and it was beautiful to read about their supportive friendships as well. I probably laughed the hardest when Amy introduces Eli to her famous internet celebrity roommate – the crochet eye patch wearing cat Pea. Absolutely loved it and think Pea needs a short story or epilogue of his own. Can’t say enough about this book as it was probably one of the best books I have read this year!

Ms. Angel gave us fair warning that she was writing a completely different genre from her mafia books. This is a terrific mix of romance where the slow-burn trope is vital.

Amy is a character I could easily relate to, and I liked her immediately. She is a girl after my own heart—a fangirl of characters in a book series. Her self-reflection demonstrated how she grew throughout the story. Jake is another fantastic character who also immediately took a piece of my heart with his love for Amy. Being a movie star he had it all—or did he?

Whether or not you like cats, Pea deserves a special mention. Being Amy’s pet was really more of a companion and what a terrific one too. His actions spoke louder than any actual words could.

As stated, there are some very serious real-life issues in this story that are explored with great care. There are some very witty comments and descriptions in this book. All of which are seamlessly embedded in the story.

I found the secrets intriguing and once they started to be revealed, I truly couldn’t see how things could be resolved. I felt so many emotions when reading this book, I laughed out loud, a tear or two built up and my heart raced a time or two, as well.

Fangirl is almost a lesson in love: of one’s self first, of your qualities and limitations, as well as, that one special person.

This book took me by surprise. I think I was expecting less and got way more emotional depth than I expected from a book about a movie star and as it turns out not his fan….oh, but she does become his Fangirl. Amelia “Amy” Sinclair is not a fan of Hollywood’s favorite “abs-and-stuntman” actor Jake Hollander and is extremely infuriated that he’s being considered for the part of the hero in the movie adapted from her favorite book series The Chronicles of Persefia. So what does she do? She goes to his website and laments her disgust. What happens? She gets blasted by hate and then contacted by the moderator who happens to be intrigued by her and gives his name as Eli and this starts a very interesting back and forth. It’s a beautiful start but Amy is in London and Eli is in LA and Eli is keeping a very big secret.
This is a great look, a great voyage into finding out who oneself is before trying to be something different for someone else. There are some very hard, heartbreaking, splits in this book but yet each makes for a better person each time. Even Will’s character gives insight on living life better, learning from mistakes and dealing with them in a different way. I loved the fun playfulness, getting to know you texts between Amy and Eli. How they were invested in being there for each other even on bad days. And I loved that they both had friends, Maya for Amy and Will for both eventually, who always had their backs, always there for support, comfort and advice. Pea was an adorable addition.

Wow! This was incredible. I could not put it down. I laughed a lot and I cried. All the feels with this one. Jake is famous. Like, very famous. He's one of Hollywood's golden men. It's a very empty life. Work is fulfilling but people always have an ulterior motive. Color him surprised when he is chatting with a feisty Brit. Amy was unapologetic in her opinion of his inability to bring her favorite literary character to life. He loves talking to her so much so he fibs a bit on his name. Which I do find a good idea considering who he really is. Amy lights him up. She's sweet and sassy. And oh, the drama. These two have a rough go at being together. I felt so bad for both of them. All they wanted to do was love each other. But other people and life kept getting in the way. I loved that they both messed up and they both put the work in to fix their relationship. It wasn't just one person's fault. Both did things they shouldn't have and both had to fix it. I liked that a lot. Thankfully these two loved each other enough to find a way to be together. I loved who Jake became. He stopped doing what he thought he should and started doing what he wanted. Yes! Same with Amy. She always took the easy way, the less complicated way. She didn't want to ask for too much or be too much. And here she becomes so much more. I loved every single page of their story. I couldn't put it down. RG brought it and I hope everyone loves it as much as I did.

**Advanced Reader Copy Review**

Amy & Jake

Where do I start? Hihi
Because my heart is still warm and fuzzy thinking about this story and what it has done to me. This story is so so so good. I think every girl/woman can relate to this story one way or another. If it be about fangirling over a book, an author, an actor, the list goes on and on. I think we all have been there, especially the book girlies who have been obsessed with a certain book or series. This story is us represented in a beautiful, funny, loving, recognizable and relatable way.
Amy is the biggest fangirl ever when it comes to this certain series and not only does she love it to her core she’s even writing her own fanfiction about it. She’s chronically ill, is a woman like so many of us with doubts, fears and self consciousness.
This story just has everything: funny moments, banter, a very modern way of finding each other online, some great friendships and side characters. Love, struggles, pain, finding your self worth and your strength, a Hollywood famous actor and a British accountant. Being seen for who you are loved with all your flaws, cared for without question, just because you are you.
I just loved every second of this book, from the funny banter to the serious moments till the HEA at the end. I laughed, I cried, got angry and fell in love. I wish I could erase it all and read it again like it’s the first time.

I could not put this book down!

Amy Sinclair is an almost 30 year old accountant with an autoimmune disease and a cat named Pea. So she has found refuge in the books of The Chronicles of Persefia including writing many fanfics. When she finds out that a Hollywood action star, Jake Hollander, is rumored to be cast as the main character, Prince Anlon, Amy is furious. In a night of bad decisions, she finds Jake Hollander's fan page and joins to forum to question his acting chops. She wakes up to hundreds of emails from angry fans and is connected with Elijah Cohen, a moderator for the site. Eli is a sweet, geeky special effects artist. The two become close and feel like they can truly be themselves with each other. However, they are both hiding things from the other and when those secrets come to light they have to see if their relationship will survive or if it is better left online.

This book was absolutely adorable. I loved how relatable Amy. She was in a job that paid the bills, but that she didn't love and felt like she could be herself more online than in person. Worrying about being a burden because of a chronic illness was so realistic and heavy. It can be incredibly difficult on a relationship and Amy worried that it would be too much. I loved how Eli and Amy became pen pals. I didn't love how they hid things from each other, but I did understand how they were both worried that their secrets would destroy their relationship. The ways that both Eli and Amy fought to become the best versions of themselves. Also, the side characters were absolutely fabulous! Maya is a force to be reckoned with and absolutely the best friend a girl could have. Will was so cynical and jaded, but he was determined to help his best friend no matter what. He was also completely hilarious with some of his antics! I hope that we get more of their stories!

Such a complete contrast to RG’s books, a different world, a different love story but still just as captivating and addictive as all other books. This was heartbreakingly beautiful, emotional and inspiring, I could not put it down and in all truthfulness I am writing this review at 4am!! Amy and Jake were truly wonderful characters, they come from different worlds and continents for a start. Amy is in England, she’s shy, sweet, a loner of sorts except for her best friend Maya( who is a gorgeous human being) and her cat Pea, she’s real, relatable and also dealing with issues which are treated with sympathy and compassion. Jake is a famous American actor, popular and a decent person but people don’t see the real him other than Will ( whom I adore) until he corresponds with a mysterious woman online. Their connection is instant and soon they fall in love without meeting, both hiding secrets though. This is where the heartbreak comes into play. A beautiful love story that wasn’t smooth sailing as outside interference wanted them to fail. A book with heart and I loved it. Jake’s bff Will deserves true happiness, my heart broke for him, a complex character but a wonderful friend and his story needs to be told.

Amy is a fan of a book series that is about to be adapted into a blockbuster film. The actor cast as her favourite character? Jake Hollander, an actor she really isn't a fan of. After a series of events, she gets talking to Eli online, who seems sweet and understanding. But is he really?

I absolutely devoured this book! Amy was such a relatable character, especially reading about someone who also has a chronic illness, albeit not the same as Amy's. The way she would defend things and people she loved so strongly. Jake was such a lovable character too, and seeing him grow and realise things about himself had me cheering and crying along with the pair!

The best friends, Maya and Will, were such good best friends! I'd love to read a book about Will, he deserves a happy ending of his own! Also, I crave Maya and Will interactions! The star of the book was definitely Pea though!

Thank you to Midnight Readers and R.G. Angel for the chance to ARC read this book. It will certainly live rent free in my head for a long time!

ARC Review

Fangirl by @author_rg_angel

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We've all been there. Your favourite book is getting a movie adaption, and some jacked up action star gets cast as your favourite prince. What else is there to do but get wasted and call him out on his own website...in front of all his fans...cue chaos. Luckily, the mod for the chat board steps in and shuts it down. And what's this? Is he flirting with you?!

I absolutely loved Fangirl, I devoured the first half in a couple of hours. I did not want to put it down.

I cringed, I laughed, I kicked my legs screaming at the cuteness 😍

Amy and Eli were the absolute cutest. Yes, there were miscommunications and points where I was close to screaming, "PAY ATTENTION!" But they worked through their issues and helped to create this wonderful world I lost myself in.

Special shoutout to Will, he's my brand of chaos and I love him ❤️ 💕 😘

Thank you, RG Angel and Midnight Readers' Book PR, for the opportunity to read this book. I loved it

Absolutely loved the book up to 60% of the way

I want to start by saying I love the authors previous work and wanted to LOVE this book but it was lacking. This book immediately caught my attention with the couple initial chemistry. I loved the first half of this book, but the second half left me a little disappointed. I didn't enjoy almost any of their time together after meeting and I felt lime their chemistry fizzle out 60% through and I felt there was more chemistry with the supportive best friend to the mmc. I really liked mmc the whole book it's just, Everything felt so rushed after she goes to stay with the mmc. And to be honest the fmc was a little unlikable towards the end of the book. It was as if she was looking for a way out. I also wish we touch more on her Chronic illness, Especially when she was in LA. Overall not a terrible read, just a tad disappointing.

Holysweetness. I absolutely devoured this book in one sitting and let me tell you this book absolutely slayed! Now this is something lighter than R.G Angel other books but i am allfrigginforit!

The banter, the chemistry, the slow burn, the laughter was utterly brilliant to read add in the twists and turns and this will have your mouth watering! 😍

Amy & Jake are such beautiful characters and seeing their characters growth and interaction grow had me swooning! I know for a fact that this is going to become one of those books that I reread as a comfort read. This left my heart feeling so full!❤️

What i absolutely ADORE about this book is how the underlying message is to love yourself flaws and all and overcome those with those who love you

🥀🥀BOOK REVIEW🥀🥀

Fan Girl is a fun read by R. G. Angel.

This is a slow-burn romance that uncovers secrets, moves through the twists and turns of the characters of Amy (MFC) and Jake/Eli (MMC), and what is real versus what desires. Can you get what you desire? Can I trust you to keep my secrets safe? Are you, my family?

I love the supporting characters – Will and Maya. They bring richness to story. How do you find love and yourself at the same time. I love the friendships of this story and how you can find love/relationships is places that are unexpected.

4.5⭐️ (ARC book) I absolutely loved this book! I giggled, full on cackled at parts (thank you Will Winters), fell in love with both Amy and Jake, cried, and felt seen through the anxieties and doubts Amy battles within herself. Jake is such an adorable dork, but he’s also so sensitive and vulnerable and so crazy about Amy! I don’t want to spoil anything, but I loved the plus sized and chronic illness representation and not as the funny sidekick. No, she gets the hot actor and her beautiful bestie is the supportive sweetie through all the ups and downs. And let’s not forget about Pea, the famous one-eyed cat with hundreds of hand-knitted eye patches! Always love an animal sidekick! I will totally be recommending this book to any and everyone.

Oh this was such a sweet one.

Amy, an aspiring writer breaks the internet over an actor that she hates, Jake Hollander.

Admittedly she did it while drunk.

She also met her soulmate, Eli from this.

After talking so long they both are holding something back from the other.

They have a beautiful and perfect connection and when they finally meet face to face it's explosive.
Not all in a good way.

I really loved Jake. He was sweet and thoughtful and he LOVED Amy his Fangirl, hard. I could relate to Amy. I too have fibromyalgia and it sucks. She went from unsure to really becoming a self assured person. It was lovely to read.

I really enjoyed reading this book and I definitely recommend 👌

Loved this novel! So much fun! I have read other novels by this author and loved them. This novel did not disappoint. I was so excited to jump into this novel and this novel did not let me down. From the first chapter this novel captured my attention. It had so many things I love in a novel, I love a slow burn and I loved the online friendship with the hidden identity of the hero communicating with a fan unbeknownst to the heroine. It was so much fun! I loved Amy and Jack. Their chemistry was so good! My heart hurt for what they were both working thru. Once I started reading I could not put this novel down. I loved it! It was such a fun novel to read! I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next. So so good!
