'Counterfeit Cowboy' is a fun, enjoyable read. Another great romance from Ginny Baird. Highly recommend to anyone that enjoys reading romance.

Algorithms & Love
I wasn't sure I understood the title of this book with this story line when I first started reading. Eventually I read the part that connected the title & it made more sense & I could actually relate to the characters. In order to obtain a promotion Eve travels to Jackson Hole, Wyoming & is keeping secrets while she tries to gather information about this business. Ted & Brian have developed their business & are extremely proud of their success. Secrets are kept by Eve & Ted. There is an undeniable attraction between Eve & Ted, is it stronger than the lies?

Oh yes, five stars. This is the first book I have read from this author. She grabbed my attention immediately, kept me interested from beginning to the end. Effective use of humor. Ted is sooooo swoon-worthy. Eve thought so too. She went to Wild West Brides under false pretenses, she was really on assignment to write an article about the business. Many adventures later and she had her story. I won't tell you about the story, even though, I would love to. I highly recommend that you read Counterfeit Cowboy by Ginny Baird.

Okay, this wasn't a bad little romance, except the reader isn't taken into the hot and spicy bits. Instead, it's one of those where they go into the bedroom and come out in the morning all flushed and sated. Or something along those lines. I found the plot jumped forward at times when I was expecting more detail and fleshing out of the scenes and characters. Editing is clean and so is the story but it needs more realistic grit.

Her newspaper boss has an assignment for Eva, a new business called Wild West Brides Enterprise in Wyoming..Someone in the office filled out her profile, of what she wanted in a match. It wasn’t really her, but went along with it. The intended had an emergency, and what follows of meeting someone unexpectedly, makes this a delightful story to enjoy.

This is a cute, whimsical, flighty romance story about cowboys and computers. Can a algorithm really pick true love? Counterfeit Cowboy is a contemporary romance that I truly enjoyed reading. The interactions between the characters will have you laughing out loud. There are two previous stories that Eve has a part in, but they do not have to be read prior to reading this one. I cannot wait to read more books by Ginny Baird.
Eve Parker is a reporter in New York. She is tired of always been a bridesmaid, so when she gets an offer from her boss to go to Wyoming to write an article about a matchmaking company called Wild West Bride. She is going in undercover to get the full scoop of their non-failing matching process. She knows that that they will not find her perfect match while she is there, but she also does not expect to be drawn to the man that she is there to interview.
Ted Walker is a self-made cowboy. He’s happy with his life right now, and has no desire to get involved in a relationship. Making Wild West Bride successful is his main priority. But there is something about Eve that just may change his mind about getting involved with a woman right now. Will he change his mind and take a chance with Eve? Or is it possible that he may lose his one perfect match?

She introduces us to Eve Parker and Ted Walker who both moved to different areas to follow their dreams. Eve works in copyediting at Make It Count, but longs a better position with the magazine. When offered the opportunity to travel to Wyoming to interview Ted Walker, co-owner of Wild West Brides, she is both excited and anxious. The magazine feels she would get a much better story if she poses as a bride, but Eve is not comfortable with the deceit. Ted Walker helps run a matchmaking business based on a computer program his partner Brian developed years ago. This business has been thriving and they are actually thinking of expanding. Ted had quit law school, move from California and invested all his savings into opening this business.
I really enjoyed this storyline. I instantly fell in love with the characters. Eve and Ted have so much depth to them. I loved the imagery. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Counterfeit Cowboy is such a good read. You will not want to put it down. Eve is a writer who is sent to a ranch where those in attendance are set up with the person who most likely is a match for them. Eve goes as a writer to write a story for her job but soon realizes she is falling for Ted, the Cowboy in charge at the location. Ted opens up to Eve about some personal things which she puts in her story. Upon realizing how her story read, he sent her home and no longer wanted a relationship with her.
Will Eve and Ted overcome their differences and stay together? Will they be a match? Is Ted really a counterfeit cowboy? Read Ginny Baird's book to find out. It does not dissappoint. Ginny knocks it out of the ballpark with their story.

I've always been drawn to cowboys...i guess being from Montana is a good reason. In this beautifully written, adorable story, Ginny Baird once again transports us to a romance we'd love to have in our own lives. It's sweet, it's solid, it's sensual, and a lot of fun. Eve and Ted are perfect for each other...too bad dating sites can't get that right in today's society. Thanks for another wonderful read, Ginny! Absolutely loved it!

I'm glad I got this free. I almost stopped reading it. It felt too . . . beginning author? I don't know. Lack of character development. Nothing to grab me. Nothing to pull me in and love the characters. Honestly I saw that it appeared to be a shorter book based on my % complete on my kindle, so I skimmed through it and got the gist of it all much quicker. Not impressed. Won't seek out more.

A really cute story! Ted Walker's family thinks he's in law school, but he's in Wyoming pretending to be a cowboy. Eve Parker wants to be a "real" reporter instead of a copywriter. So she agrees to go to Ted's ranch and pretend to be a Wild West Bride on Ted's dating website. But what will happen when Ted discovers he does not want this sassy red-head to marry anyone else but him?

Loved this book! To be honest, it is not normally the type of book I read, but I could not put it down. I read this in less than 1 day. I was hooked from the very beginning. I loved how the characters had deep backgrounds, had multiple things going on and were trying to balance out life. There were a few twists and turns that I had not anticipated, which was a welcomed surprise.

Such a sweet story! Eve is sent to write a story about Wild West Brides a ranch were couples are matched based on answers to a questionnaire. Ted is one of the owners of the ranch who has had his heart broken in the past. Eve hides her real reason for being on the ranch but what happens when she learns Ted has secrets of his own.

Good read
This book is funny, sweet and romantic. The heroine is not who she says she is and the hero is a "counterfeit" cowboy, but real at heart. They hook up and the game is on. Recommend.

Charming and cute. Likeable characters and plot. Some parts of the story were glossed over but nevertheless I was able to fill in the blanks with my own imagination! No fireworks or unexpected trappings really. Just a run of the mill cute story. On my Cowboy Scale of Hotness, 3 stars.

I really enjoyed the book. It was humorous and the characters were very likable. It was an easy read. However, my only criticism is that the ending was wham, bam, thank you ma'am! I think that the ending could have been drawn out a little longer for my satisfaction.

Seemed unfinished
Boring, over explained and felt unfinished. Very typical and predictable. Cute idea for a dating excursion website..spending a week out west but to say that start up company had a 100% success rate is too far fetched. Too unrealistic.

Counterfeit Cowboy by Ginny Baird is a well written book. Eve and Ted's story is loaded with humor, a bit of drama and just a bit of heat. I look forward to reading more from Ginny Baird in the future. Counterfeit Cowboy is a fairly short read. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.
