Other topics include stress reduction, pain management, nutrition, and how to stay motivated. Having just had a hysterectomy I've found this book to be full of sensible advice and exercises for both before and after the op. I would recommend it. Just wish it was available in paperback as well so I can follow the exercises more easily.
I spent a good deal of time reading and researching after my doctor recommended hysterectomy, so much of the information in the book seemed very basic and common sense to me. This would be a good book for someone who is intimidated by the medical profession and wants to have more confidence about their hysterectomy.
