About the author

Akimi Yoshida (Japanese: 吉田秋生, Yoshida Akimi) is a Japanese cartoonist from Tokyo, best known for her manga series Banana Fish.
Yoshida studied at the Musashino Art University in Tokyo and made her professional debut in 1977. Despite serialising her works in shōjo manga (girls' comics) magazines, most notably in 'Bessatsu Shōjo Comic' and 'Monthly Flowers', during the 80's she developed a visual style akin to the aesthetics of shōnen manga (boy's comics) of that era, contributing significantly to creating a bridge between these two traditions. This is particularly evident in her international best-seller Banana Fish (1985-1994), a thriller set in New York City blending action and homoerotic romance. Among her other major works are the series Yasha (1996-2002) and Umimachi Diary (2006-2018).
Yoshida's comics have received a number of accolades in Japan, including three Shogakukan Manga Awards (1983 and 2001 in the category 'shojo', 2015 in the general category), an Excellence Award for manga at the Japan Media Arts Festival (2007) and the 6th Manga Taishō award (2013).

Sei started to suspect his brother and regret suspecting him. However, when his bodyguards got framed for a crime they didn't commit and sei discovered his brother was the one who set the trap for them. He didn't show any anger or regret for trusting his brother too much and not listening to his best friend.
Sei is generally cold throught the series. his genes were manipulated before his birth, therefore he obtained super intelligence thanks to NGF, Which means he is more intelligent and physically powerful than other poeple though not so socially succesful..

He also looks a lot like ash, that's why i can't disconnect the two characters in my mind, whenever i see sei i remember ash, especially that they are both highly intelligent and physically powerful. The only difference is that ash has charisma but sei doesn't.

Iniziamo a conoscere meglio entrambi i gemelli (unica nota, spiazzante all'inizio a quanto siamo identici ad Ash di Banana fish,😳, poi però la storia ti cattura e non ci fai più caso). Tanta azione, la narrazione continua a catturare. I disegni retrò a me piacciono, contribuiscono bene alle atmosfere dell'opera.

Altro bel lavoro di Akimi Yoshida. Lo stile da thriller è lo stesso di Banana Fish, manca forse il lato romantico di Ash ma il personaggio principale riesce ad essere magnetico, attraente, superlativo altrettanto. Trama intrigante in cui non mancano colpi di scena. Avvincete, se ami Akidi Yoshida non puoi non leggerlo.

Super exciting and fast paced story. A few twists here and there. Makes you want to pick up the next one right away. The art is not my cup of tea, but the plot makes up for this little flaw in a big way.

いや、これ本当に面白いよ。

残念だ。なぜならは、無料棚に乗っているは三巻だけ！！！！何と悲劇！このシリーズも日本へ戻るまでに終われられない。(T_T)　4巻からwant to readシェルフで何年待ってなきゃ。寂しいな。

で、何故この本はそんなに面白いの?やっぱり漫画はいい。最近読んだの本はあまり面白くない、作者のイマジネーションが足りないからかな、だけど漫画は作者と読者一緒に作ている作品、私の考え方も吹き込めるので面白さの可能が増えている。まー、少なくとも、私はそう思います。

このシリーズはSFみたい。遺伝子操作、クローニング、薬社やバイオ技術産業スパイ、いろいろな活動あって面白い！映画ならアクション映画だよね。

続き読みたいな。。。
