The Phase: Shattering the Illusion of Reality

Rate this book
By OOBE Research Center.

The practice of phase states of the mind is the hottest and most promising pursuit of the modern age. Unlike in the past, the notions of “out-of-body experience” and “astral projection” have already lost their mystical halo, and their real basis has been studied in minute detail from the most non-nonsense approach.

Now, this phenomenon is accessible to everyone, regardless of their worldview. It is now known how to easily master it and apply it effectively. It gives each and every person something that previously could only be dreamt about - a parallel reality and the possibility of existing in two worlds.

TABLE OF CONTENTS:

PART I: GET PHASE WITHIN 3 DAYS
PART II: 100 PHASES
PART III: A PRACTICAL GUIDEBOOK
PART IV: CONSCIOUS EVOLUTION 2.0

This guidebook is the result of ten years of extremely active personal practice and study of the out-of-body phenomenon (the phase), coupled with having successfully taught it to thousands of people. I know all of the obstacles and problems that are usually run into when getting to know this phenomenon, and have tried to protect future practitioners from them in this book.

This guidebook was not created for those who prefer light, empty reading. It is for those who would like to learn something. It contains no speculations or stories, only dry, hard facts and techniques in combination with a completely pragmatic approach and clear procedures for action. They have all been successfully verified by a vast number of practitioners that often had no prior experience. In order to achieve the same result, it is only necessary to read through each section thoroughly and complete the assignments. It gives each and every person something that previously could only be dreamt about - a parallel reality and the possibility of existing in two worlds.

The book is beneficial not only for beginners, but also for those who already know what it feels like to have an out-of-body encounter and have a certain amount of experience, as this guidebook is devoted not only to entering the state, but also equally dedicated to controlling it.

Contrary to popular opinion, there is nothing difficult about this phenomenon if one tries to attain it with regular and right effort. On average, results are reached in less than a week. More often than not, the techniques work in literally a couple of attempts.

Michael Raduga is one of the most experienced astral traveler in the world. This book contains so much information about the subject that I could not find anywhere else before.
And that is probably one of the reasons why it is not such a good read. The structure of the book could be more logical, but it's ok. The problem is that all the phenomena are discussed with so much detail that it is really difficult to stay on target and not to loose interest in this fascinating subject.
I think a more practical, less detailed approach would have been much better for the reader.
Having said all this, I also have to admit, that the technique really works and it will lead the reader to new experiences for sure if he/she follows the instructions by the letter!

I had been trying to induce a conscious AP / OBE for years (from a child into adulthood), yet had remained unsuccessful. After reading this book I was able to induce such practice.

Very simple to read and understand. In places it seems a little too easy, but it is just that. No long complex techniques, just techniques required to enter the phase state.

Mind-blowing for whom is interested in the topic and open-minded! Valuable insights about our subconcious's life. The techniques to get in "the phase" are eyes-opening.
I give 4/5 uniquely because, imho, the book is unnecessarily long and full of fillings and personal author's random life memories.
It may have had the same impact with 100 or less pages

One of the best books on not only explaining out out body experiences and lucid dreams but also steps to achieve them. His best method is to stay still after you wake up to slip directly into a dream. One of my favorites.

Although I was certainly curious about “the Phase” itself, my interest peaked upon seeing headlines about the author giving himself a DIY brain surgery. Well, a broken clock is still right twice a day, and Raduga is at worst a half-broken clock. In my personal experience, the Phase is legit. I would recommend this book to anyone curious in the Phase, dreams, or the threshold between dreaming, consciousness, and unconsciousness.

I am sold on that which Raduga calls “the Phase,” though I found his book long winded and dry. I will certainly give the man credit; this is literally a textbook guide to accessing the Phase, and is meant to be in depth and informative rather than entertaining. I strongly recommend readers skip large sections of text whenever they find it fitting. The start of the book is largely an autobiography, though I was paying much more attention once Raduga brought up the relationship between semi-unconsciousness, religious experiences, alien abductions, and sleep paralysis. It’s the first thing I mention when bringing up the Phase, and he could have used this example more to validate his findings.

Honestly those interested need only read about 20 - 50% of this book. The rest is fluff, intricate details for “phase intermediates,” and documented experiences included to further validate things.

I want to add that there is nothing supernatural about the Phase. . . unless you believe in divination through dreams, which seems to be normal for humans for the past several thousand years.

I appreciated his curiosity and some of his personal theories. I also liked that he didn’t make grand assumptions about the phase in regards to whether it proves that consciousness survives death. I think it’s important for everyone to experience these things and have theories around it for themselves but not to declare it as fact. This is a detailed technique book. I felt like he could have explained some of the methods in more detail because capturing these states is very hard for beginners/ seemingly impossible. I’ve spent hours working with the wrong techniques. I think it’s also important to note that unless you’re in the correct brain wave state, you won’t be able to really do any of these techniques so the key is really about being able to keep your awareness sharp enough to capture this state. This is why he focuses on the seconds upon waking up. Lastly I felt like he did not go into the details of the “higher states” like some other explorers have but I guess that’s after you stabilize yourself in the phase 🤓

Give 5 stars as its written based on his actual experiments with many subjects. And I almost could do this as well - scared so I just woke up. And I know this author would comment like 'Wrong, no need to worry' like the comments section of the book. This book is exactly what Ive wanted to read. Will try again once I am convinced Lucid Dream is safe.

I always appreciate astral projection authors who admit they can’t tell the difference between projection and dreams.
