Pitty: A Pitbull Romance

Rate this book

My life is perfect. I have the perfect best friend, the perfect family, and the perfect career laid out ahead of me.

Still, when the troublesome crush I had in high school forces his way back in, I can’t help but fall for him all over again.

Ezekiel’s charm and determination to win me over makes me blind to all of his red flags. When a brutalized dog is added to the equation… I know I will lose my heart.

I’m just not sure if I will get it back this time.

I live with the darkness like it’s the best part of me. It’s a shield for the dogs I rescue and it’s never shy when it comes to giving karma a hand.

Now all I need to do is convince my girl that what frightens her, is nothing she ever needs to fear.
Rose is mine. And with her best friend finally out of the picture, I will make her see it too. Since the first time I laid eyes on her, she has belonged to me.

It’s a Pitty she doesn’t know it, yet.

Let's count the ways how much I love Ezekiel, he is unapologetically, confident in himself, and his obsession with Rosemary. He does have a soft spot for taking care of the dogs. I may be biased as he is German and has tattoos and that is my kryptonite.

Rosemary had the appearance of a perfect life. But deep down really strives for something different, then enters Ezekiel and it's a wild ride after that.

As soon as Ezekiel enters the book it's very fast-paced. From that first scene, I knew I was going to love this book and was deeply invested. A must-read.

THIS. BOOK.

this book is absolutely everything to me.🥹 as a pitbull mom, the story really grabbed hold of my heart and it’s never going to be let go.

i absolutely adore ezekiel and his mission. rescuing dogs from abusive owners? who wouldn’t fall in love with him? he is the definition of a golden retriever/doberman book boyfriend. tough shell on the outside and sweet on the inside.

rose is such a sweetheart and i love her dearly. her excitement over the dogs made me cry every time because they just needed love and she was always willing to give it. 😭 no matter what, she always saw the good in ezekiel and it made me love her even more.

the storyline had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen, and boy was i not ready. i cried, i laughed, i got angry, and in the end, i cried again. tears of joy for this beautiful family and the beautiful dogs they rescued and cared for.

inken, i just want to say thank you for writing this and bringing attention to this topic. thank you for giving me the honor of arc reading for you, and i hope this opens everyone’s eyes to the issues in the world. 🥹🩷

EEE 🐾💕

Saving my review for closer to release date but when I tell you I devoured this so quick 😭 Ink never disappoints!!

Thank you Ink for allowing me to arc read this novel! It’s such an honour.

Here for my full review! Oh my gosh this was such a conflicting book for me because I kept rubber banding between swooning for Ez and Crying over the puppies 😭

This book raises awareness over animal abuse & really shines a light on how terribly the system treats “aggressive” dog breeds. Pitty was such an amazing introduction to this series and I cannot wait to read the rest when they come out. It’s the perfect balance of fun and serious. I loved Rose and Ez together & honestly I just love a mostly green flagged serial killer stalker mmc. He is everything and more.

Highly recommend for a fast paced, spicy read that still has a really well thought out plot and characters. AND of course spreads a really important message 🫶🏻

Firstly I want to say how much I loved this book, when I first came across Pitty, it quickly became one of my most anticipated reads and it definitely did not disappoint. I’ll be adding this to my shelf of all time favourite books. Inken you truly captivated me with your way of writing and I found it so hard to put down.

I really felt the raw emotions of our MCs Rosemary and Ezekiel, and completely fell in love with them. Literally couple goals! The love between Rose and Ez was amazing to read, it felt real, powerful and filled with passion for one another and the spice was spicing, it was HOT and I definitely think I’ve learned some knew things about myself thanks to Ez!

Don’t get me started on the doggos, Zero, Popeye and sweet baby Nuri. I shouldn’t pick favourites but I really really fell in love with Nuri, I felt so connected to her from the moment we are introduced. All 3 of them are the sweetest angels ever and I wish I could meet them in real life and hug them!

I shedded A LOT of tears throughout this book, so make sure you have tissues with you. Some tears were filled with sadness and anger but some were filled with pure and utter happiness.

This book hit me hard, being a dog mum and all round animal lover, I knew I’d struggle at times to read about these poor dogs being abused but I knew that the important message within this book was that animal abuse happens daily and the justice system couldn’t care less about dogs, especially ones seen as dangerous. We all know it’s the owners, never the dog’s fault yet the dogs are always the ones being punished for simply existing.

Thank you Inken for pouring your heart and soul into this book, I can truly feel your passion about dogs from the first page and I really admire you for writing about this incredibly important topic. Pitty is going to mean a lot to so many of us animal lovers because I know it means a lot to me and I can’t wait to continue this series!

I had the amazing privilege to read this as an arc 🩷

⚠️ Warning: get your tissues ready & get yourself an emotional support pup!! You’re going to want to cuddle a dog for this one!!!

This book made me cry, yell, drool and swoon!! I was sitting here cuddling my puppers and sobbing for parts of it!! Inken did such a great job bringing a real world problem to light, that is otherwise ignored!! She wrote Pitty in a way that grabs your attention, but also gets you sad & angry about a real cause, this is a dark romance book, but it has an underlying message that she is obviously passionate about! This is a 100% must read!

Rosemary, MFC, lives a nice but somewhat sheltered life! She has wonderful, supportive parents that make sure she has everything she needs! She’s got a great best friend who’s always been there! She’s a college student who’s studying to be a lawyer & seems to have a bright future ahead of her!

Ezekiel, MMC, is a tattooed badass who rescues pit bulls from horrible situations & makes sure that the abusers pay for what they’ve done!! He has a team of friends that help him track down dogs that need help, & together they give the dogs all the necessary help & rehabilitation they need to get better!! He does everything he can to save as many of them as he can!!

When Rose’s friend goes away to another college, an old acquaintance from high school reappears, in her bedroom, while she’s on the phone with her friend!! At that point things get spicy & awkward!! After he has her attention, Ez and Rose begin spending a lot of time together & she quickly becomes passionate about his less than legal job, when she gets first hand experience with what he is up against!! Together they rehabilitate a couple injured dogs and she begins to fall into his world!

This book had my feels all over the place!! I truly can’t recommend it enough!! Absolutely loved everything about this book! 5⭐️ read and 5🌶️!

And lastly, thank you Inken for the experience of ARC reading this book for you, I’m forever grateful and honored!

This book gave me whiplash (and I mean that in a good way).

One minute I was all ‘la la la la’ everything is beautiful and wonderful, puppies and some spicy romance, then BOOM - I am a sobbing mess (IYKYK)

The purpose of this book is a heartbreaking one, but a story that needs telling - the abuse of pitbulls and dogs by disgusting (I’d like to use stronger words but…) humans.

Rose is studying law with the appearance of the perfect life. A childhood best friend who’s there for her and a career path all laid out for her. But when her teen crush strolls back into her life - things take a turn.

Cue Ezekiel - German, tattooed, shaved head with Contra K vibes (I didn’t know who this was either, do yourself a favour and Google it) - saves dogs who have been abused and seeks revenge on their behalf (and because they deserve it). Oh, and he is OBSESSED with Rose.

I LOVED this book. I flew through it - the writing style and story is easy to dive into and not want to put down. Plus the DOGS - they stole my heart 🥹

Thank you Inken for the arc and I cannot wait for the next books in the series!

❤️ He falls first

“What is it, slutpuppy? Didn’t you want to see me feral?”

This was my first read from Ink and it was brilliant!

I was so eager to read about the events that take place with pit bulls/pit mix’s, and how it would thread into DR read.

I adored everything about this. The setting, the pacing, the characters and their reactions to facing an animal that the world would deem ‘dangerous’. Just by looking and not taking a minute to consider the cause of their behaviour. ❤️‍🩹

Ezekiel mannn, this guy is hilarious and headstrong with his affection towards Rose.
Rose really grew on me. Her character reflected that of the typical person that had been surrounded by the false pretense of ‘dangerous’ animals. She quickly learned.

This story was refreshing, eye opening and I definitely recommend for everyone! I laughed and cried through this. Perfect! 🖤

Thank you for the arc Ink! 🖤

Pitty by Inken Bermann is an undeniably intense and compelling dive into the darker side of romance, pulling no punches from the very first page. If you're looking for an unapologetically possessive hero and a heroine drawn to the storm, you've found your next read.

Our protagonist, Rose, seems to have a meticulously crafted perfect life ideal best friend, loving family, and a clear career path. However, this perfectly laid world is shattered when Ezekiel, her troublesome high school crush, re-enters her life. His charm and relentless determination are powerful, and we see Rose fall back into his orbit, even as red flags begin to wave frantically. The narrative does an excellent job of showing how easy it is to become blind to what's right in front of you when your heart is involved, especially when a deeply troubled, brutalized dog is added to the emotional equation, ensuring Rose's heart is completely on the line.

Ezekiel is the quintessential anti-hero he lives with his darkness like it's his best friend, using it as a shield for the dogs he rescues and a tool for karma. His perspective is chillingly possessive; he’s convinced Rose is his and has been since the moment he first saw her. The tension between his protective instincts and his controlling tendencies is palpable, driving the story forward with an intoxicating sense of danger.

Now, let's address the elephant in the room or rather, the nickname. The decision to call the main female character "Slutpuppy" is undeniably bold and unconventional. For some, this will be an immediate turn-off, and I admit it initially made me raise an eyebrow, questioning the author's choice. However, within the context of this specific dark romance, and Ezekiel's deeply possessive, slightly unhinged persona, it fits. It's a stark, almost jarring, reminder of the genre's edge and his somewhat objectifying, yet ultimately devoted, controlling nature, challenging the reader and setting a very clear tone for the kind of relationship portrayed. It definitely marks this book as not for the faint of heart, or those who prefer more traditional romance tropes.

While the intensity, the unique blend of darkness with the dog rescue element, and the twisted chemistry kept me thoroughly engaged, that particular nickname is a strong choice that might make this less universally appealing, preventing a full five stars for me personally. It's truly a 'know what you're getting into' element that could be a deal-breaker for some readers, even if it serves the story's overall dark aesthetic.

Ultimately, Pitty is a compelling, high-stakes read for those who enjoy their romance on the darker, more possessive side, with morally grey heroes and heroines willing to dance with danger. Be warned, it doesn't shy away from uncomfortable territory, but if you're up for the challenge, you might just find yourself completely lost to its grip.

I really enjoyed this book, despite the darker themes represented in the book the relationship between the two MCs is kind of adorable.

Ezekiel is a cross between dominant alpha male and super sweet cinnamon roll hero, and (in my opinion any way) he hits that perfect sweet spot that is an equal mix of the two. While there are a few sex scenes in the book it was not overly smutty and instead came across as a more realistic portrayal of a new relationship. Their particular kink is not for me, but is definitely on theme for the book and it was not overly done, in a way that would make the reader feel uncomfortable or make the reader feel the need to skip past it if it’s not something that interests them.

Rose(Mary) despite being a natural submissive for Ezekiel was still a strong female lead, who stuck up for herself and others without hesitation and when needed. I think that the author managed to tell the story in such a way that Ezekiel’s very few (*cough*, numerous) red flags came across to Rose, and the readers as an endearing shade of green instead and the obvious and very real connection between them was both all consuming and sweet at the same time. You could easily see the love and devotion between them growing over the course of the book, although I do think it showed before the story truly started too, I genuinely can’t think of another reason that her reaction to finding him in her apartment was what it was (no spoilers here) lol.

The story behind the story so to speak was an important and very real issue concerning dogs (pit bulls in particular) and their treatment both by the truly evil people who abuse them and by the authorities who are supposed to be there to protect them. The author did a fantastic job of not only getting her point across and “humanising” the story in a way to garner empathy from the reader, but also to do it in such a way that it didn’t overwhelm or take anything away from the dark romance aspects of the story. Rather than being the whole focus it was integrated in such a way as to make it important and to be sympathetic to the subject matter but not make it seem preachy if that makes sense.

All in all a great book by a great author, I look forward to reading more of her work.

I read this book prior to release date as an arc

This story was written with awareness and the truth about the stigma against pitbulls, they are the new age breed that gets a terrible rapport. In the 80’s it used to be Rottweilers and before that it used to be the German Shepherds, but the pittys they have the longest hate because of how they were breed in their environment, aka People. People are the issues, we cause harm, we cause the fight rings, we cause problems. Pittys are just big heads with even bigger silly smiles who want loves.

Ink, my wonderful friend, she made a Bonnie and Clyde inspired romance based on the truth of what happens to people who hate and were told to be fearful. Our main character starts off scared but then grows to love her very own pitty, “peony”. Ez, he’s the sweetest tough guy you’ll ever meet, he literally drops everything to help any dog he can, he will literally murder you if you abuse them. The story itself was by far the best Ink has written yet, her love for pitbulls shines through every single page, they’re short chapters but I enjoyed how they were handled, I got so emotional and wrecked that I couldn’t keep going until the next day, if you are able to make me feel love, loss, anger, and happiness then this book did its job imo!

(Rose)mary- law student by day, kickass savior by night lol or…. Eventually she is. Her character growth was probably one of the best female character arcs I’ve read this year, she was a sheltered character who broadens her mind and has the biggest personal impact throughout the whole book. She’s cute, funny, and just wants the law to do the right thing and protect pitbulls, she will stop at nothing to do so.

(Ez)ekial - Criminal by day, stalker by night… he really is. His character was meant to show us, imo, that there’s nothing you can’t do if you put your mind to it and don’t get caught lol. He already knows for a while the stigma about pits, he shows rose how to learn and grow her mind to be more accepting. He shows us how people will react cops and civilians a like.

Both of them together was a beautiful story and one worth reading. Yes there was smut but only a small part of it, the message shows more which I appreciate!

This will be a forever read and I can’t wait for the other books to see the mysterious villain taken down!

Pitty by Inken Bremann

I'm going to start this off by saying that this is my first book from this author and I loved it. I kept seeing this book pop up on my TikTok and it caught my attention every single time.

Please be warned before reading this book deals with the unfair treatment that Pitbulls go through and the bad rep that they have just based on their appearance.

From the moment I started this book I couldn't put it down. As a child Ezekiel saw Rose for the first time and he said that she was going to be his. There was something about her smile he couldn't stop looking at her.

Rosemary is saying her last goodbye to her best friend who is going off to school when she suddenly feels like she is being watched. She realizes that this isn't the first time that she has felt the same way. Once Ezekiel comes back into her life she isn't sure what to think. In school he never paid one bit of attention to her. He was a tiny bit mean to her, but there has been something about him that she was interested in.

Ezekiel hurts people who hurt and abuse dogs. He makes the people disappear and he takes the dogs so they can get help. He has made it his mission to saves all the dogs that he can because the treatment to these kinds of dogs are unfair.

The chemistry between Ez and Rose was off the wall and I couldn't get enough of it. The way that he cares so deeply for her was so sweet. Everything he did was always for Rose.

"I wear Roses on my skin, for everyone to see because... Before I loved any of the dogs they represent, I loved you. And I have never stopped loving you."

I went through so many emotions while reading this book. There was so many different times that this book pulled on my heart strings. I went from feeling WTF, to sad, to feeling giddy because of Ezc and Rose. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

To be honest, the only reason I bought this book was the title. When my dog-obsessed self spots anything even remotely related to dogs, it’s an instant buy. 😅 And the book did not disappoint!

(Spoilers ahead!)
Rosemary (Rose) lives a perfect, sheltered life. She’s adored by her parents and best friend, the “good girl” law student who always follows the rules. But when Ez reappears in her life, old feelings come rushing back. The more time they spend together, the more Rose becomes fascinated by his world and his mission.

Ezekiel. MF. Färber. THE man. He rescues pit bulls from horrific conditions and makes sure their abusers face consequences. With his team, he tracks down dogs in need, ensuring they get proper care and rehabilitation afterward. He’s strong, driven, and completely devoted to his cause and to Rose.

The story is a bit fast-paced for my taste (I’m usually a slow-burn lover), but if that doesn’t bother you, you’ll definitely enjoy this one. It got me emotional. From giggling and kicking my feet every time Ez appeared, to crying over Nuri’s heartbreaking fate. Having lost four of my own dogs this year, that part hit really hard.

I loved watching Rose’s growth and the chemistry between her and Ez. And I deeply appreciate how Inken highlighted the issue of dog abuse, especially with pit bulls. A breed so often misunderstood and unfairly judged. They’re such loving, gentle souls, and it’s heartbreaking how bad their reputation has become.

If you’re new to dark romance, love dogs, enjoy emotional stories with strong chemistry (and yes, plenty of 🌶️ *cough* kinks *cough*), and don’t mind a quicker pace, I highly recommend Pitty!

I can’t wait for book two! 🐾

I love this book plain and simple. This book has such a strong message. I went into it knowing the MMC served justice (and that’s putting it lightly) to owners who have abused and harmed dogs. But it’s fuckin painful to know the reality and gruesome details. This book broke my heart for the dogs in this story, and knowing they are based on real cases, the reality of this world is that people don’t deserve these beautiful creatures, so pure and innocent.

I’m fresh off reading Pitty, and I ugly cried. I love Ez and Rose. I love that in the beginning, Ez is fighting this mission alone, but Rose joins him. Her life is stable, and she has her routine, but when Ez comes through her window 👀, everything changes. Reading the first few chapters, I was so surprised with how forward Ez was and how he makes things awkward with Tyler and Rose 😂😏. I love that he was chaotic, but they both belong together. Their relationship is beautiful and hot 🔥, and I love how they build each other up and support one another as their story goes on.

I loved that Pitty comes with a strong message and awareness that the treatment of Pitbulls is disgusting; they are often misjudged in society. This book truly shines a light, and more people need to open their eyes that these beautiful dogs are just as innocent and deserve so much love, just like any creature.

Thank you, Inken, for this ARC opportunity.

Tbh I did go totally blind in this book. Yeah I’ve seen some snippets from the authors account abut this book but didn’t recognize it so much . But I’m so happy I’ve give it a try !

Pitty is about a scary german but very handsome softhearted man who is in love with this one girl since he was 8. He was like her bully and they did not stand each other in Highschool. But he has also a big and soft heart for Pitbulls which are not protected by this world like they should. He literally gave his life for them and try everything to rescue them. The world is cruel and even more cruel to innocent dogs who just want to be loved and safe .and the most breaking part ? it’s just because of the way they look scary and called monsters. But they are so much more and the sweetest souls ever. The story touched a very weak point in my heart and make me cry to read all about the facts what going on in this world. Rose was also judging from the beginning but really fast noticided that she could not more false about Pittys. She began to love and care for them and I really admired that about her. I really loved the connection between Ez and Rose because they really turned into kind of Bonnie and Clyde to help dogs who are humiliated and foltered in the worst and cruelest way 😭🥺 if you ever be or was a part of it then FUCK YOU and I hope you will rot in hell.

Pitty is a hauntingly beautiful dark romance that balances tenderness with grit. Inken Bermann takes readers on an emotional journey through love, obsession, and the resilience of both people and animals. The story shines not only because of its central romance, but also because of the raw and powerful way it portrays compassion for dogs (specifically pitbulls) who have survived cruelty.

The prose is smooth and engaging, with moments that tug hard at the heartstrings. Bermann definitely did not shy away from heavy themes, particularly surrounding animal abuse, yet she wrote them with such empathy that it amplifies the emotional stakes without ever feeling gratuitous. The FMC, Rosemary had an amazing transformation that felt authentic, and the MMC Ezekiel’s intensity added both danger and allure. Their chemistry is undeniable, and watching their bond evolve keeps you hooked.

What sets this book apart is the dual love story—between two flawed humans finding their way to each other, and between people and the misunderstood dogs they choose to fight for. It is dark, passionate, and it lingers with you long after the last page.

If you are a reader who appreciates romance with sharp edges, layered characters, and an undercurrent of compassion, Pitty will stay with you.

Enjoy my thoughts in short:

- darker themes (check triggers!)
- You get thrown right into the story
- He has a hard shell but is soft for her and dogs >>
- Definitely kinky but not too spicy in my eyes, it is an adult romance book after all
- I absolutely love that Inken speaks up about such important topics with this book/ series, such as how horribly humans treat dogs
- don’t even get me started on the last few pages of the book, after the epilogue— I love that she put actual, real stories at the end of this amazing fictional one and that she uses her voice to bring light to this issue and what the reader can do to help!
- Overall this book was really „easy“ to read, not because it‘s particularly light or fluffy, it is not (!) but because I simply flew threw the pages
- There wasn’t any point where I was bored or anything, every page was filled with action
- Also, I wouldn’t necessarily call this „dark romance“ but it definitely isn’t contemporary either, it more so is a romance story that gives off „John Wick“ vibes and doesn’t shame away from showing us the brutality of our reality

I had such a great time reading this book! Easily consumed, yet densely packed. This story had me gripped from the very beginning and I had a hard time putting it down. The plot was compelling and interesting, the romance was possessive and yet sweet, and the spice is kink-filled.

Pitty follows Rose and Ez as they navigate through the beginnings of a relationship (even though they have known each other since they were young). The story uncovers the dark secrets of Ez and what he does to protect animals in their city. Rose is forced to confront some uncomfortable truths but as a result she grows deeply as a human being.

This book had me running the gamut on my emotions. I went from smiling to crying to anger and back again. Pitty deals with some heavy topics of animal abuse and the descriptions are graphic. Please read your trigger warnings! This book won't be for everyone, but I think it shines a light on important topics and it is clear from the writing the author cares deeply about this subject.

I have been looking forward to reading this book since it was first announced and I was not disappointed!

I had the amazing opportunity to be an ARC reader for Pitty and this is my honest review.

This book…this is the book that both broke me and captivated me all at once. The romance between Ezekiel and Rose is spice fueled, possessive and everything you want in a story, but that’s not why this book means so much to me.
Ezekiel’s mission to save abused pitty’s and bring awareness to the sick people out there harming these beautiful creatures is absolutely incredible and meaningful, but it’s not without its devastating moments.

I truly appreciate the awareness Inken spreads in this story and how she brings these issues to light while also creating an intense and spice fueled BDSM love story.

I definitely found myself holding my rescue dog tighter and keeping him close as I read this and I can guarantee you will as well!

Please please please make sure to read the trigger warnings before proceeding!

Emotional damage! Thats what this book did to me. I loved every minute of it. I got it as an ARC and finished it in a day. Ezekiel and Rosemary are my favorite. Ez is definitely your morally Grey hero but he rescues dogs so we ignore the red flags. He loves his Rose from the beginning. Rose is your blissful carefree MFC until Ez finally enters from out of the shadows.

Ezekiel rescues beaten Pitbulls and nurses them back to health when he can. When Rosemarys BFF leaves town, Ezekiel makes his move. He pushes his way in and Rosemary goes along and helps him in many ways. There is betrayal but not in the way you think, there are going to be tears as this book shows the heartbreaking side of abused dogs and death.

Definitely worth the read.

This is my first ever ARC and I’m so glad to have gotten acquainted with Ink and her work!

The passion that she has for pit bulls shines through every page, and is reflected in the emotions of the main characters. I’m not a dog person typically, but it certainly gave me an appreciation for those who are working to end the mistreatment of any animal.

As far as the romance goes, this is a real Bonnie and Clyde vibe and I enjoy the dynamic between Ez and Rose. There is certainly darkness in the book, but o didn’t feel like the intimate pieces were too dark.

It’s a quick read that will make you sad, angry, and also make you smile.

Inken Bermann is a new to me author who gave me the privilege of ARC reading Pitty.
This story is tragically beautiful, incredibly well written, thought provoking as well as anger and rage inducing. The story is something that I wasn't prepared for regardless of the trigger warnings.
That being said it is one story that needs to be told and it's a book I highly recommend. Bring tissues...bring your anger...bring your sorrow but also bring a heart filled with love because this story deserves it all.
Thank you Inken for the honor of reading this book.

Another dark romance from Inken so please make sure you read the content and trigger warnings.

Ezekiel and Rosemary are opposites but equals. While there are a number of RED FLAGS regarding have Ez comes back into her life, he doesn’t take away her power. Their story envelops another story that is close to the authors heart and how it is woven in creates a beautiful balance.

Since her debut I can see that Inken has worked on her craft as a writer and I look forward to seeing her develop further

This book is more than just a romance book, this book speaking about real problems, idiotic people who abusing and judging the pitbull breed. The FMC is a law student with apparently perfect life, perfect friendship with her best friend (idiot) until the MMC Ezekiel,a tatooed badass who saving dogs from idiotic people walk in her life and turn it upside down.If you reading this book you better grab a box of tissues, you gonna need it...and did I forget to mention?...he trained her with a clicker 🫢

This was my first ARC, and i loved it. Being a dog lover, emotions ran wild. bawling my eyes out one minute and then screaming at my Kindle the next. The love Ez has for Rose is beautiful. They're like a superhero couple fighting crime against dogs. I've wanted to buy land and fill it with rescues for years, and after finishing Pitty, I want to do it even more.

You will ugly cry, cry from laugher and cry from happiness. The book shows the dark side of how terrible dogs and especially bully breeds gets treated and the heartache is real. THAT one chapter (iykyk) still haunts me. If you love dogs you HAVE to read it. If not for the justice for the dogs but the smut is chefkiss🤌🏻

I cried this was an amazing story from Inken and I wanted more. This story was heartbreaking at times but the messages she was trying to convey and make people aware about were not a joke. This story was something I wish I could read for the first time again. Can't wait to see what's next!

I was expecting kinky smut but got handed a lesson in morality. I really enjoyed these characters and would love to see more of them, but god I just love pitbulls so much and wish they could just be loved like ez and rose love them 😭
