All Cimmaron wants is to keep her head down and work but thanks to her curiosity her Dlog hormones are trying to tie her to her sexy boss for life in this sizzling sci-fi romance.
All Cimmaron wants to do is fly, not be tied down by her hormones but then she ends up stranded and working for Tamaki Grierson only there is something strange going on at the club and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the flying sparks and super-heated passion that flows between Cimmaron and Tamaki. The chemistry is off the charts hot from first eye contact and it only gets hotter from there no matter how much either one fights the pull and these strong compelling characters demand that you join in the red hot sex scenes including a scorching hot ménage with Tamaki’s friend Rico while the fast paced, smooth flowing plot builds lot of anticipation with suspense and romance. Well written scenes and details paint vivid images that make it easy for the reader to become immersed in the story while the intriguing events ensure that the reader wants to know every last detail.
Once again, the House of Cat world provided a quick and satisfyingly sexy read with a bit of intrigue, a side of fun and white hot, fantasy inducing passion, not to mention the fascinating characters and I can’t wait to visit again.

This is a standalone book in the House of the Cat series & if you haven't read any of the other books, don't worry as this has all new characters. This features Cimmaron, a woman who has had to overcome the restrictions of her Dlog heritage & the relationship she forms with Tamaki. Sci-fi isn't my preferred genre so the introduction of different species doesn't fill me with excitement but this story delivered on the relationship between the characters. The seriousness of Cimmaron was balanced nicely with the lightness of Tamaki's character. Add in the addition of a couple of characters that could potentially go on to have their own stories, & this was a very satisfying read.

Stranded and Seduced; House of the Cat has such a great storyline! This book will draw you in and keep you reading. It has a little mystery and some hot and steamy sex/love scenes!!
Cimmaron is Dlog woman and a pilot. She didn't want to be the typical Dlog woman to stay at home and take care of a man and family. She wanted to fly a ship and travel. They had landed on Planet Marchant and since she didn't have to be back until second moonrise she set out to explore. What she didn't know is that Captain Campbell told everyone else to be back by first moonrise. Since she refused his sexual advances, Captain Campbell decided to pay her back by stranding her on Marchant with little money, no change of clothes, no pilot’s license and is declaring her AWOL. Of course she doesn't know this until she reports back to the transport bay to find the ship missing. She has to find a way to get her name cleared and get off this planet but in order to do that she needs money. Cimmaron is deep in thought and bumps into a female. The female is on her way to a job interview at a club so Cimmaron follows her and barely makes it into the club.
Tamaki is the manager of the club and when Cimmaron comes into to his office, he makes an excuse to leave. He is attracted to her and he knows that there is a no fraternization policy. His best friend, Rico asks if he want him to get rid of her but he says no. Tamaki goes back into the office and learns of her story and asks her if she can start tonight even though she over qualified. He also gives her a name of someone that she can rent a room from.
The club is more than it appears to be. What is going on upstairs? Cimmaron is drawn to Tamaki but she needs her pills but they are on the ship.
Such a great story, but beware there are some hot sexual scenes!! You have to read this book to find out what happens. I loved it!!

Cimmaron is a space pilot in training and is left stranded on a planet because she turned down the captain of the space ship. Now what is she going to do? Fortunately she hears about a job in a club and thankfully she has had plenty of bartender experience. There she meets the hunky Tamaki, the club manager. He is really taken with the beautiful golden woman but has to keep his hands off as she is staff. But he, his offsider Rico, and Cimmaron end up in the new room upstairs at the club. And they cannot keep their hands off each other. What is happening? She isn't in heat as she is still taking her pill each day. The three of them have one very steamy night together. But is there something wrong with the room? Fights start breaking out. People are injured. Word gets out and rental of the rooms slump badly. What is causing all the trouble? What a terrific book in this wonderful series. Loved it.

This book was a quick fun read! This story introduces new characters and mentions some of the characters in previous books, but it is not necessary to read the previous books before this one. You won't know who Lynx is but he's missing anyway and not important to the story. Cimmaron is a Dlog female who doesn't want to mate and be controlled by a male. Tammaki is a human who is not looking for a mate either. When Cimmaron's boss strands her on Marchant because she turned down his advances, she has no choice but to find a job to save up the credits needed to get off planet. When Tammaki sees Cimmaron, sparks fly and they do everything possible to stop the mating from happening. The plot has a little mystery, some young thugs, humor and hot sex.
Overall this is a great read and I would recommend it to everyone!

This was a fun and entertaining read. It's quick, only 9 chapters, so it can be read in one sitting. You really don't need to read the previous books in order to read this book. You won't know who Lynx is but he's missing anyway and not important to the story. It may be a quick read but it's not lacking in plot. Ms Munro makes sure you understand her characters and why they act like they do. You know why Cimmaron hates being stranded and why she wants to fly. The female is an alien and the male is human and when the two get together the sparks fly. The sex between the two is hot, oh yeah even hotter with Rico added in it. The plot has a little mystery, some young thugs, humor and hot sex. You can't go wrong on reading this one!
