This is an easy-to-understand foundation book, and as such, is not sexy, but as with every foundation, important and necessary. It does seem a bit repetitive with the thought-emotion syncing, but as this is elemental to success, the repetition is necessary to ensure the reader realizes its importance. Once this idea is accepted, the ways in which to connect and work with Mother Earth are simple. For the novice, the sexiest part of this book might be the glossary, where more is defined. All together, this book succeeds in de-cloaking the dark mystery associated with 'witchcraft,' by shining the light of common sense on it.
On a personal note, I found this book to echoe works by Louise Hay, though from a slightly more religious/Mother Earth perspective that gives meaning to so much. For me, this validates the essence and messages of both authors.

This is a great starter book for learning the basics of how to celebrate Sabbats. I found the recipes and craft ideas delightful. I made a couple of the crafts and found them a great way to involve the family in celebrating. I also like the way the author points out that how you celebrate is personal to you and does not require following a strict guideline of rituals and rules. Celebrating can be as easy as being outside in your own yard. What your intent is in your heart is more important than how you do it.

This book is absolutely perfect for the beginner! I am a newbie Witch starting out trying to collect and study all the info that I can and was completely lost as to how or where to start and this book helped a lot. I now know some basic things that are perfect for me to start with as a beginner. I love that everything is centered around our natural ability to Create magick using what we see in our minds! I CANNOT wait to begin my Dedication Ritual and I am so excited to begin! Thank you Kardia and I love your website too! <3

Karzai Zoe's masterful writing performance !
This book makes you want to go out and hug a tree! This short book is the best I've ever read on the subject! Ms. Zoe has once again given us a tantalizing peak at the wonderful world of a Nature based religion. I' m already a practitioner but this book made me take another look at mother nature. And something new to me is the excerpts from ancient manuscripts! I would love to see more of those manuscripts. Thank you Kardia Zoe.

I enjoyed reading this book
It was very informative. I like how she explained how things worked, how some people do certain thing and then explained that you could do them however you feel is correct for you. That there is no one way fits all and that doing rituals and magic your way makes them stronger because your energy and intent is stronger and more natural.

A great read, short, to the point without glorifying or over explaining. well rounded for ideas involving the whole family in celebrations of sabbats & esbats. great basic reference book no matter how practiced one might be.

This book was well written and easy to understand. The basics of earth magic were covered and the glossary at the end touches on additional topics to think about.

The book is meant to be a beginner's guide, and as such it is perfectly adequate. Not bookish at all, which makes it great and lets you hear the living word and feel the pulse of Nature behind the lines.

Great beginners guide
As with it's companion before a very good guide for the beginner and reminders to the seasoned. I especially liked the constant reiteration of the essentialness of positive thinking and magic work.

As a brand new person looking for information on the Wiccan Path, I found the book to be very informative and interesting. It has helped me to get the information I needed to answer most of my questions about becoming Wiccan.

It is a good book for those who wish to learn about Mother Earth and all she does for us. Ways to utilize the magick within and around dealing with the Earth. It also provides a good insight on how to connect with Earth magick and how to maintain a healthy balance in life.

I very much enjoyed this book Earth Magic. It explained the basic things that I had so many questions about. I really found helpful the glossary of terms at the end of this book.

Loved this book...I am always looking for new material and this was a good book for beginners and a great refresher for us older folk :) Definitely would recommend giving this a read.

It's short but its content is invaluable, simple, practical.
