As a parent, I found this to be an immensely helpful book. It is well laid-out and contains a comprehensive amount of information. It is largely aimed at families at the pre-diagnosis / just received staged. It covers information on different forms of dyslexia (including early warning signs) and other developmental / learning disorders that could be co-presenting (or which could have similar presentations). I would definitely recommend it as a starting point.

Great book, a lot of good information, and very interesting to me to realize all the ways my dyslexia affects me even now. My daughter and I are both mildly dyslexic, my mother moderate, so it's interesting seeing the range of affects. My daughter is 13, received speech therapy for 4 years, and is very creative. She doesn't receive assistance now but online school has been a real struggle. This book came at a good time for me to help her work through some issues.

So helpful

This book was full of helpful resources and information. It gave ideas for reading, spelling, and math. It also gave helpful advice for elementary, middle school, and high school. I learned a lot. Some information was the same as other books, but some was definitely new and helpful.

very good detailed background on Dyslexia

Great book on Dyslexia, covering a large range of topics . However it is set towards the USA education environment.
